The food was great.. the service dismal! We were a group of six, the restaurant was 50% full. Our server who didn't have a name tag treated us as though we were an imposition. Approached our table no greeting just did you want something to drink or are you ready to order. We ordered beverages and when she returned ordered lunch. Four new tables were seated after we ordered and every single one was served lunch before we were. Our very simple lunch took 42 minutes to be served. Barefoot Bar & Grill at Paradise Point - Friday, July 3rd, around 1:30 p.m. We had just checked into Paradise Point and were excited to kick off our Fourth of July weekend with lunch at the Barefoot Bar & Grill. Unfortunately, it turned into one of the most disappointing customer service experiences we've ever had. We understand that holiday weekends are busy. We know mistakes happen, and we're the type of people who give others grace. Our food came out, but our Reuben sandwich never did because it had accidentally been left off our order. When we asked about it, the bartender apologized and admitted it was his mistake for not entering it. We completely understood and weren't upset about that. What happened next is why I'm writing this review. A female bartender, who appeared to be in her 20s or early 30s with dark hair pulled up into a ponytail or bun, became frustrated with another guest who questioned the wait. Loud enough for the entire bar to hear, she said: "What the f' did you expect on a f-ing Fourth of July weekend? If you don't F-ing like the f-ing  service, go somewhere else." The entire bar went silent. A younger couple nearby and a Black gentleman sitting to our left looked over at our friend with complete shock. We all just looked at each other in disbelief. There were families and children within earshot who heard every word. Ironically, when it came time to pay our bill, the service suddenly became very quick. Before that, we watched another bartender spend more time handling his wallet and counting money than helping customers who were waiting. This review isn't about a forgotten sandwich. Mistakes happen, and we had no issue extending grace. It's about witnessing a bartender speak to paying customers in such a vulgar, disrespectful, and unprofessional manner. Everyone has stressful days, especially on a holiday weekend, but there is never an excuse to treat people that way--especially in front of children and other guests. We left feeling disappointed, not because of the food, but because of the complete lack of professionalism we witnessed. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from this restaurant other than a place to grab some food when you didn't want to leave the resort and though I was partially right, there were some things that surprised me. We ordered our drinks: wine, coke, and a strawberry lemonade -- the soda was completely flat, and it seems that the strawberry lemonade had absolutely no lemonade in it. After We ordered our drinks and 20 minutes went by he did notice us and realize that we still had nothing and I think that's when he put at least one order in? Not quite sure if it was the whole order or not. Only to say once the first order got to our table we were only able to enjoy one appetizer and my meal. The two other girls still hadnt received their meals. at least an additional 40 minutes passes by that's when my friend is over it and decides to cancel her order and just collect the bill. That's when he goes back to cancel the order and brings out the last order 10 minutes very quickly after the second one was canceled and then gave us our bill. It was very slow, so I can't blame how packed the restaurant could have been as an excuse. I found two eyelashes in my food. (decided to take a picture the second time which is what I'm posting)...
