    Relaxed family reunion.

    This restaurant really Wowed me! From the moment I was welcome at the reception podium, the staff was very friendly and soooo accommodating! We sat outside where we were able to being our dogs, which they also brought water for the dogs. Because it was a bit chilly being by the water, we were invited to sit at a table with a fireplace and they adjusted the flame to our desired level. Our waitress came back quite often and was always there at the right time. I had the soup of the day which was quite filling so I never got to order the clam chowder. Draft beer prices were lower than expected and the fish and chips was quite possibly the best I've had because the beer batter was thin and tasty as well as the fish being moist & perfectly prepared. The fries were also perfect and not too crunchy so very easy to eat and we enjoyed the seasonings. We had eaten at the Marine Room the previous evening and Firefly Eatery was by far the better choice at 1/4 the price. This restaurant is truly a gem and so desirable they had a wedding party during our visit for lunch. Well done friends at Firefly. We will be back when we visit your beautiful town next time. Mahalo

    Husband and I stopped just planning to have a drink or two while deciding where to go for brunch. However, thanks to our awesome bartender, Ryan, we ended up having four each! He was friendly, easy to talk to, and made some delicious drinks. Great vibes, great service, and even better cocktails!

    A nice solid moderately sized hotel bar and low key lunch spot. The service is nice. Not very busy with plenty of free outside parking in front of hotel. Four large screen TV's. Indoor and outdoor seating. Food and drinks are good. Not much of a scenic view but the hotel surroundings are nice. Definitely will be back.

    This is a restaurant and bar located inside the Dana on the bay. They have an outside dining area and a small indoor section as well. I dropped by after checking in and got a few margaritas that were very good. They used brand name liquors and no well junk. I tried their Korean BBQ wings that were amazing!! Perfect hot sweetness with that outside crunch you desire. Had a few drinks outside as well. It's a very good place to unwind with great service!

    Pay the extra buck for the New Old Fashioned.... That is unless you are a creature of habit or don't like smoked bourbon.

    Excellent service that makes you feel like a king when you clearly are not.. The staff here is always on point and attentive to their guests' needs. Our child was hungry and we had just had dinner, however you need to make sure she's not hungry. Having had been out all day, Mission Bay. Um Duh. We opted on having on site dining even if if was something easily handled by Jack's. We had impromptu tapas. The calamari and KBBQ wings are stellar. I had made an error ordering and my wife had mentioned our kid wanted another item. They made no fuss changing the pasta for the mini corn dogs. Love this place and the Dana will be back soon.

    Excellent! We went for dinner once during our hotel stay and visited the bar a couple times as well. Service is very good. Very comfortable inside with plenty of room to move around. We ordered the garlic bread, wedge salad, hamburger protein style and the short ribs. Everything was very tasty and great quality.

    Giving a generous 3. Generous. I can get into my signature Yelp-y review, but the long and the short of it is this place has mediocre service and really bland food. The experience on the patio with the fire pit was lovely, but it took so long to get our cocktails - prior to ordering food - that our ice water had melted into tepid water before the drinks made their way outside. It was somewhat busy, but a hotel restaurant close to a larger hotel hosting conventions needs to know how to handle that. My coworker and I split the beet salad, coconut shrimp and cheese flatbread. All three were bland and unremarkable. Overcooked beets, but a good dressing. Shrimp was meh. Flatbread was mushy on top, and totally burned on the bottom. Our server was nice enough but either spread too thin or just not on the ball. Either way it was not great. Way underwhelmed.

    Stayed at the Dana and of course came to the Firedly for happy hour! Our bar tender was Jacob and he was Great! He took time to answer all of our questions and clarify our doubts. We had the 5 bucks lemon bourbon cocktail and some IPAs. We also had the 1/2 Lb Wagyu burger with fries and the clam chowder. Sadly have to report that everything was very salty the patty, the fries, and even the soup. I would've assumed it was me until my beau said the same thing without me mentioning it. Good thing the drinks were good so we watered it all down with a good priced cocktail. We enjoyed the sunset and chatting at the bar. Price was ok for happy hour.

    Very spontaneous decision to go for a date night here and it was amazing!! Ambiance 10/10 Food 50/10 Service 100/10 Came in like 5m after the were taking the last guest for seating (but we'd called ahead and told them we'd be there) And the bartender was SUPER sweet about it! Accepted all order customizations (grilled chicken instead of breaded for the entree, asparagus instead of fried brussels sprouts, and that too with less oil) Brought out the food really quick - fresh and steamy In perfect order and perfect timing. We didn't have to wait for any course to come out Even came in and asked what dessert would e the would want so he could keep it aside for us since the kitchen was closing.. and then could bring it out in time We celebrated our anniversary there, and the bartender gave us the dessert and drink on the house!! What a great guy! Also very kind with moving the heaters around for us Coconut Shrimp - SO crispy and delicious! Perfect with a big squeeze of lemon juice. Or with that sweet chili sauce. Shrimp it were not too oily either even through they were fried. Grilled Chicken was perfectly cooked! Very soft and not at all dry on the inside. Asparagus on the side - tender and cooked well on the inside too. Not stringy or hard even though they were thick pieces. Gorgonzola Mashed potatoes - creamy and delicious! Mushroom Fettuccine - WHAT A BEAUTY! the Sauce was lovely - perfect garlic parmesan sauce with perfectly cooked pasta and mushrooms. Good portion size too. Loved it! Cheesecake was creamy and perfect! Didn't even need that blueberry compote on top! Strange Brew cocktail was very nice too! Good volume and generous portion size. Very refreshing!

    I am not normally one to go five stars for a hotel restaurant but we had three wonderful meals here with fantastic service on a recent stay at The Dana. One breakfast and two lunches, we enjoyed their lovely patio seating with our two pups. We had the same fantastic server each time, lucky for us, who always took great care of us. The breakfast buffet was solid, and they make a great vanilla latte. The lunch menu delivered some great eats, we tried the BLTA, Burger, Flatbread, Brussels, and Cobb salad. The cocktails are pretty on point as well. Honestly, if you never wanted to even leave this property you would not have to. We are having an event here in February of 2025 and if this is a sign/indication of the Food & Beverage situation here, then I am stoked.

I did have a reservation on OpenTable but when we got there, there were several challenges I believe in the seating area. Once we were seated, I noticed Chef Deborah walking around. She was greeting customers and being her very friendly and professional self. I was so impressed. We ordered.: Tempura Artichoke Appetizer, Fish and Chips, and a Chicken Caesar Salad. Everything was DELICIOUS! It was also awesome because Chef Deborah came by to greet us and talk to us and I had a chance to express how much I really like her Casa Gabriella restaurant in La Mesa. I told her how I have been a fan of her restaurants for a long time and I absolutely miss Bo Beau that used to be in Hillcrest, and then Ocean Beach. She updated me that it is now located in Long Beach, which is still good to know. Being able to dine and speak with the actual executive chef of this brand was awesome. Thank you, CRG for providing a wonderful lunch experience and for your consistency and delivering an excellent dining experience. I advise that people join their CRG Dining Loyalty Rewards.

The fish was perfectly battered, crispy on the outside, and flaky white on the inside. The fries were also nice and crispy. We also ordered the blackened fish tacos, which were packed with flavor from the very first bite. The service was excellent. The staff was attentive, professional, and welcoming. Several employees regularly checked on us throughout our meal to make sure everything was going well. The outdoor seating offers an incredible view of downtown San Diego, with boats passing by in the harbor. Combined with the perfect weather, it made for a wonderful dining experience. We can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu!

I was able to secure a seat (due to showing for dinner around 4 pm or so), but the restaurant filled up nicely and hosted about 4 anniversary's and 1 birthday in my time there. Dress attire seemed casual but there is definitely a more elevated clientele so I would recommend a thoughtful outfit for the experience.

Waiter, who had already proven he know WTF was what, simply said "we're known for it, you will probably enjoy, people rave about it". So, I mean, when in Rome. Johny wasn't lying. The sausage in this is really yummy and nicely paired with the charred broccoli. I'd recommend this one - Branzino: delicious. Comes de-boned which is appreciated, and is deliciously flaky. Get this! - NY Strip: ok I know I've said "get this" for basically everything....but seriously get this one. The presentation is beautiful and the squash, bone marrow, and everything else on top were very tasty. This was our favorite dish!
