Food Service & Ambiance is SUPERB! Ms. Joyce, our waiter was such a WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL, and PLEASANT DELIGHT. She brings JOY and is the BEST REPRESENTATIVE for customer care and satisfaction. She does her job very well and with a Spirit of Excellency. If you know that you'll come back to visit this establishment again, you will be likely compelled to ask for Ms. Joyce to be your Delightful Sunny Day on any kinduh day waiter. Barnes surely is blessed to have her on their staff team! She's a KEEPER. So do her very well and KEEP HER! Over & Out FranknKimm

Fan favorite in our house!! Great BBQ every time. Hushpuppies are to die for (hint: ask your server for some honey & butter!). I LOVE the collard green and red rice as sides, always full of flavor and warms your whole body! Service is great, staff is friendly and fun. It's not typically too busy, but they do often host events (separate space for events!) Cozy booths and fresh food. Definitely a hidden gem here in our Southern Charm City!

Came from Pooler Ga with family and chose this restaurant to patronize. We came in and waited long enough for us to say "where and who is our server" we all placed our order and I ordered the lunch special "served daily from 11 -3pm" ...after 2 trips back and forth to get an order accurate for my other table guest the waitress returns at 3:07 and says unfortunately my order cannot be processed because it's after 3pm. I'm flabbergasted because I'm already hangry and really only able to eat the lunch portion of what I ordered. So she turns to get the manager who also comes to say there's absolutely "nothing" that can be done because it's a corporate issue. Like really, nowhere ever have I seen an establishment not able to honor something so small but yet could have saved my perspective of what a family owned business should be about. Needless to say .. I had my mind made and my budget set to get what I wanted at this particular time but instead I sat and watched my family eat and I did not. They wanted to leave all together but instead we stayed. I know it doesn't matter to Barnes but it definitely disappointed me. Long story short be mindful of loyal customers and how you create returning customers. As Empty as the place is I would have found away to be more accommodating for a table of 4. I would've rated the food but I didn't have any; however, my nephews burger came back raw and uncooked after an extensive wait. Check your food don't want anyone to get sick. Maybe they did me a favor. Lastly, the manager Marilyn has a very unpleasant attitude. Definitely only here for a paycheck.

Loved this BBQ joint! The restaurant had a nice southern feel & hospitality to it. The food was pretty delicious! We did get there right before closing so some menu items were out, but that's on us. Our lovely waitress, Joyce, was beyond great. Her humor and sweet spirit made all of us have an even greater experience - and remembering her name is a testament to that! Will absolutely come back when visiting Savannah.

A fairly large restaurant with its own parking which was very convenient. The outside was clean, and so was the inside. I liked how the inside decor gives southern hospitality vibes. They're pretty short staffed so it took a little while to get seated, but the waitress was very nice and had a great attitude. I had the fried flounder po boy, the wife had the fried oyster po boy, and my kid had the fried grouper fingers and it was all fantastic.

Here's what I had: catfish and grouper nuggets with macaroni and cheese, and collards.

This restaurant has southern dishes and different options. This was our first time eating here. The server was holding it down due to staff constraints...she made it work. The food was delicious. I would give it 4.5 stars out of 5 if I could, only because the collards tasted more like turnips or canned, and the catfish was served whole minus the head. I'm more accustomed to filets. The Brunswick stew was okay. The macaroni and cheese is not pot and was delicious. Thank God! The seafood is yummy! The hush puppies were light on the inside and had a hint of sweetness. We liked them as well. The tea was sweet...might need to add some water to reduce it. All in all we had a good experience and will eat there again. We recommend this restaurant.

One of the employees at the Perry Lane Hotel recommended Crab Du Jour, and I'm glad they did! My wife and I arrived and immediately noticed the lively atmosphere. As soon as we walked through the door, karaoke night was in full swing. There was a DJ, several talented performers, and a crowd that was enjoying themselves. The entertainment was classy, fun, and added a special touch to our dining experience. For dinner, I ordered Dungeness crab legs with corn and additional sides, all covered in their mild Cajun sauce. The food was fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. The seasoning was just right--enough flavor to enjoy without overpowering the natural taste of the seafood. My wife ordered corn and vegetables and thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. Everything was prepared well and served hot and fresh. Our waitress provided excellent service throughout the evening. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Between the great food, outstanding service, and enjoyable entertainment, Crab Du Jour became one of the highlights of our Savannah trip. If you're looking for good seafood, a fun atmosphere, and excellent customer service, I highly recommend Crab Du Jour in Savannah. I gladly give them 5 out of 5 stars for food, entertainment, and service. They helped make our anniversary trip even more memorable!

We were out here taking care of business and seen Crab Du Jour had what I wanted. When arrived we were greeted and seated right away. Our server was Jada. She was so sweet and helpful with the menu. We explained that my mom couldn't have shellfish. She quickly explained that the fried food and crab boil came from 2 separate areas. Jada also made sure when she brought the food nothing touch or was close to my mother's food. The food was delicious and the sauce was sooooooooo good!!!! The sauce was not salty nor too oily. I really enjoyed the fact that I didn't have to scream over the table to talk. The R&B music was flowing. The restroom was clean (paper towel sucks). This place will be on my list next visit. Erica Davis Lowcountry sits on Victory Drive in Thunderbolt -- a town so small it has exactly one square mile of land and a name borrowed from a lightning strike that supposedly split open a freshwater spring on the Wilmington River bluff. The restaurant itself has a similar origin story: a long-shuttered seafood spot called Teeple's, left empty for years, brought back to life by Erica and Dwight Davis with real care. The gaslight sconces out front stayed. So did the bones of the building. The garage doors open when the weather cooperates. We came in late on a Friday, catching the final stretch of their brunch service. Hannah (I believe) was our server -- in training, which you wouldn't have guessed. She steered us well and managed the table (and the room) with a confidence that didn't feel performed. We started with the Barbecue Shrimp and the Oysters Rockefeller. The barbecue shrimp -- Georgia shrimp in a spiced, rich sauce served with toasts -- was good but the one I'd skip on a return visit. The Oysters Rockefeller are the opposite story: roasted, finished with creamed collards and parmesan, and genuinely one of the better bites I've had in recent memory. Order them. My husband had the Wassaw Redfish -- pan-seared over stone-ground grits with garlic beurre blanc and heirloom tomato. Clean, confident cooking. I had the Sunday fried chicken, which delivered exactly what that dish promises when it's done right. Sides of fresh green beans, South Georgia collards, and Erica's Famous Coleslaw held their own across the board. Dessert was the Key Lime Pie, served in a cup that does not prepare you for how good it is. Tart and creamy in the right proportion. We didn't leave any behind. The family's seafood history in Savannah goes back to 1946. You can feel that kind of depth in a kitchen -- not in any one dramatic bite, but in the steadiness of it all.

The…read morerestaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the staff was friendly, although our food took a bit longer than expected to arrive. I ordered the Lowcountry Boil, which comes with shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage. The sausage and potatoes were good, and the seasoning was decent, but I was underwhelmed overall, especially considering the price. The shrimp didn't seem particularly fresh and had some white spots and discoloration that gave me the impression they may have been frozen for quite a while. As a result, the dish didn't quite live up to the hype for me. My wife ordered the Wassaw Redfish, which was recommended by our server, and that ended up being the standout dish of the meal. The redfish was cooked well, the garlic beurre blanc sauce was rich without being overwhelming, and the grits were creamy and flavorful. The shrimp and green beans complemented the dish nicely. Overall, the experience was mixed. The atmosphere was pleasant, and my wife's entrée was very good, but the Lowcountry Boil fell short of expectations. I'd consider coming back to try some of their other menu items, but based on this visit, I wouldn't order the boil again.
