Super yummy place we went for lunch today. Spinach dip was okay, small portion but great as a starter. For meals, we got pork sliders and a shrimp po boy. Gumbo and Brunswick stew as well. They have great BBQ and 3 amazing house sauces. The gumbo was delicious, not spicy at all though (which i prefer). The red rice was to die for. Like super delicious. Shrimp po boy had a lot of shrimp and fresh lettuce and tomato too. Definitely recommend!!!

Went here on a Sunday afternoon. Decor reminds me of a very typical 90's diner which I absolutely loved! Service was quick, super fun and friendly. Both sandwiches were 12$ each incl fries which is a bargain. It was fresh and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend and will be back to try some BBQ!

We used to eat here a lot. The service is always good with decent amount of food. They are currently running on a modified/simplified "post-pandemic" menu. The dining in setup is strictly following the social distancing rule, which makes me feel quite safe!

I was looking to try a different spot and decided to stop by here. Now I like a good piece of Bar-B-Que chicken, so I took the chance. It was fairly quite,I was greeted quickly and directed to the bar where I place my to go order. The staff was friendly and courteous. I was offered a drink which, I got a glass of Zinfandel while I waited or my order. The entire meal was tasty , chicken tender as well. I didn't care too much for the sauce which was on the side. But overall,I was pleased with the experience and will go back and try the ribs.

The waiter we had was amazing so told us the truth about everything, especially the brisket. She was not lying when she said it was FATTY. And to top it off they cut it ultra thin. And then have the nerve to charge $12 for that. I grew up in Texas and I was livid. But the ribs were ok and my wife liked her pulled pork.

Our server Amanda was great, she was friendly and very attentive. The food was good, the biggest thing was that mostly everything needed a little salt. The food portions were big. We all left full with leftovers to take. The best was the banana pudding we had for dessert, it was really good. The price was good for the amount of food served. Overall I would go back. There is salt and pepper on the table.

Sunday fried chicken in a converted gas station five miles outside Savannah, with oysters that I'm…read morestill thinking about three days later. That's the short version. Here's the longer one. Erica Davis Lowcountry sits on Victory Drive in Thunderbolt -- a town so small it has exactly one square mile of land and a name borrowed from a lightning strike that supposedly split open a freshwater spring on the Wilmington River bluff. The restaurant itself has a similar origin story: a long-shuttered seafood spot called Teeple's, left empty for years, brought back to life by Erica and Dwight Davis with real care. The gaslight sconces out front stayed. So did the bones of the building. The garage doors open when the weather cooperates. We came in late on a Friday, catching the final stretch of their brunch service. Hannah (I believe) was our server -- in training, which you wouldn't have guessed. She steered us well and managed the table (and the room) with a confidence that didn't feel performed. We started with the Barbecue Shrimp and the Oysters Rockefeller. The barbecue shrimp -- Georgia shrimp in a spiced, rich sauce served with toasts -- was good but the one I'd skip on a return visit. The Oysters Rockefeller are the opposite story: roasted, finished with creamed collards and parmesan, and genuinely one of the better bites I've had in recent memory. Order them. My husband had the Wassaw Redfish -- pan-seared over stone-ground grits with garlic beurre blanc and heirloom tomato. Clean, confident cooking. I had the Sunday fried chicken, which delivered exactly what that dish promises when it's done right. Sides of fresh green beans, South Georgia collards, and Erica's Famous Coleslaw held their own across the board. Dessert was the Key Lime Pie, served in a cup that does not prepare you for how good it is. Tart and creamy in the right proportion. We didn't leave any behind. The family's seafood history in Savannah goes back to 1946. You can feel that kind of depth in a kitchen -- not in any one dramatic bite, but in the steadiness of it all.

Visited Erica Davis Lowcountry while in Savannah after hearing plenty of positive reviews. The…read morerestaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the staff was friendly, although our food took a bit longer than expected to arrive. I ordered the Lowcountry Boil, which comes with shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage. The sausage and potatoes were good, and the seasoning was decent, but I was underwhelmed overall, especially considering the price. The shrimp didn't seem particularly fresh and had some white spots and discoloration that gave me the impression they may have been frozen for quite a while. As a result, the dish didn't quite live up to the hype for me. My wife ordered the Wassaw Redfish, which was recommended by our server, and that ended up being the standout dish of the meal. The redfish was cooked well, the garlic beurre blanc sauce was rich without being overwhelming, and the grits were creamy and flavorful. The shrimp and green beans complemented the dish nicely. Overall, the experience was mixed. The atmosphere was pleasant, and my wife's entrée was very good, but the Lowcountry Boil fell short of expectations. I'd consider coming back to try some of their other menu items, but based on this visit, I wouldn't order the boil again.
