Doesn't look like much when you drive by but this little hole-in-the-wall, dive bar serves up cold, frosty beers, average cocktails and unforgettable burgers. The main-stay is the Barney's burger. A tasty beef patty grilled to juicy perfection on a warm, soft bun (which really makes any sandwich-am i right?) topped with pepper Jack cheese and dressed with ketchup, mustard, onions and sliced pickles. You can also go deluxe with the burger dragged through the garden coming up for air with lettuce and tomato and a slather of mayo to highlight your bun! The onion rings are hand cut and battered and a served at 1000°F so be careful! Most patrons are locals but anyone can walk through the door and feel welcome. read more

We came in here after a tubing trip, we had 7 people in our party with one guy. Once we sat down it was pretty okay, we got our food in a good amount of time and the waiters were nice. The problem comes in before we got our food however. The guy in our party went over to the bar and fell out of his chair, he apparently grabbed onto something and one of the guys thought he pickpocketed him maybe? Either way he started a scene. I can see why both of them were mad. Both were pretty drunk (our guy drank while we were tubing) but either way the guy at the bar started a useless fight. When staff stepped in they told the dude in our party to leave instead of the guy who was actually causing the problem. His wife left with him but afterwards it ruined our experience. We were uncomfortable as the guy in the bar and his friends were laughing about the entire situation including a volunteer at the bar. It was annoying and we wanted to leave as soon as possible, it showed us how they valued the regulars over how to actually handle a situation like that. When it came where we wanted to leave we had to get up and ask because the waitress wasn't coming to get our bill. Overall we did not enjoy it and it soured our night. Bonus points because our guys wife texted us saying one of the ladies was eyeballing them outside the bar while they waited for us. read more

All the food we have ordered has been fresh and good. Still crispy when we get home. The first time we ordered take out everything was right but the second time not so much. It happens every time we order out and I don't check something is wrong. My bad for not checking. Fried fish , shrimp my family liked the fried mushrooms in a light batter were good and came with a different kind of dipping sauce which my 4 year old loved dipping his fries in. Burgers come cut in half which is nice since I split them up between the kids. read more

My family has been coming to Barney's for well over 40 years. We always get the turkey sub - it's loaded with thick stacked smoked turkey, lettuce, tomato & mayo on Homemade sour dough bread. It's a dive but the food & drinks are great. And Gloria is a wonderful server! read more

If the owner of the establishment is working the bar, sit at a table. We walked out again last night after being totally ignored. She is one of the rudest people and totally lacking in people skills. Yes, Gloria is a fantastic bartender and very good at her job. Retire the owner and bring back business. read more
