Before my husband got the chance to ask the entire sentence, the guy behind the counter immediately said "NO" as if he was implying to "get lost". Totally interrupted the question as if he didn't want us in there or something. We went to go look at carne prices and I went to go pay for a drink I grabbed. It was ALREADY 5 dollars, then the guy behind the counter said "if your gonna buy something under 10 bucks, we're charging you 50¢ extra."....we were like what the hell!? How is that even legal?!?!? I said nevermind and put my drink away. As I walked past the isle, there was a bunch of green things spilt in a corner. Then realized that fuckin rat that ran past the front door earlier had the exact same green thing in his mouth!! So this place just has random rats running around inside apparently !?!? And they just keep the front fmdoor wide open! In second place was Salsa Market on Santa Fe. Their green salsa was delicious. However, the best salsa in the area, hands-down is Tortilla Leon!! Their Salsa Botanera and Salsa Molcajete are the bomb. Clearly different and more flavorful than all the six we tried. Such a great store, tortilleria, Carniceria, and hot food kitchen.
