As my family and I exited the staff chanted a unison "off to the hanger 123 bye" or something along those lines and I am was genuinely delighted. Their customer service is top tier. I'm always a huge fan of feeling included since my dietary restrictions (I'm a vegetarian) doesn't always allow me to enjoy a lot what's out there. BUT THIS PLACE offered vege bacon, vege sausage, and vege chicken (with a lil extra cost). Can't wait to come back and try out their different toppings and other items on the menu. read more

I'm here to update my 5 star review to say I wish I could leave 10!!!! Their pizzas of the month are always phenomenal. Today I commented on their Facebook asking about how I could make this particular Reuben special vegetarian. They mentioned to call and they'd take care of it. Sure enough, when I called, the owner said "is this Katie? After I saw your comment I went to the store looking for a vegetarian corned beef!" That is the type of thing a friend would do when a guests comes for dinner, not a single customer to a thriving business. I am touched!!! Thank you for such dedicated service Barnstormer's!!! My family and I loved Barnstormers! Like top 5 pizza on our list. I have celiac and a dairy intolerance so I had the GF/DF pizza and it was amazing. The crust is perfect, with a great crumb (think hand tossed) and perfect crisp. I've not experienced a better allergy friendly pizza! The rest of my family ate all the gluten and dairy, and raved about the quality of ingredients. My hubby has a great palate and said you can tell they really care about the balance of toppings and flavor of the sauce. We ordered for carryout, but they have a cute dining space that was indeed clean and organized. Staff was very friendly and I so appreciate their attention to detail so I could have a safe experience. 10/10 we will be back! read more

My fiancé and I were visiting family in the area and stopped in for a quick bite to eat. We had a delicious pepperoni and black olive pie that hit the spot perfectly! The crust was the perfect mixture of fluffy on the inside with the perfect amount of crunch on the outside. It was cheesy, without being greasy, and overall, was one of the best slices I've had. The experience was made that much better with the wonderful service and friendly staff. We had the opportunity to chat with Don, the owner, and his personal touch made us feel right at home. I admire the combination of options and the creativity that the Chef has created in the menu. If you have some diet restrictions they can accommodate you. My son raced Redbud today @ I asked him what's for dinner & he said...pizza! Well we had to try the place that got 5 stars. Well it did not disappoint. I love supporting local businesses. We met the the owner Don and he told us the whole story how it got started. We got two of the local favorites Flyin Hawaian and the Chicken Tikka Masala with curry sauce yum. Barnstormers Pizza has been my husband and I Top Choice for pizza in the area since they opened a few years ago. I first visited them in 2020 and have come back multiple times ends. I have never been disappointed with their Pizza and I love the jokes they put on their boxes. They typically do a joke for one box per order, so my husband and I like to keep track of whose box gets the joke. This time I got the joke and I thought it was very cute. They have lots of options as far as Pizza, Wings, sandwiches and more. If you love pizza I would highly recommend checking them out while in the area. read more

Business sits in a small building off M139 , it has to be one of my favorite places . It took a year to grow on me. I love pizza and I eat and make a lot of pizza. This pizza is unbelievably delicious!! The crust is the perfect mix of tender, crunchy, chewy, and very tasty, which I think must be because they let it develop over a few days. I wish I could make crust like this. Wow! A few people were raving about this pizza so I decided to try it. It did not disappoint. We had the Loaded Hangar Fries, The Flyin Hawaiian (highly recommend) and a pepperoni pizza. Everything was fantastic. The Hawaiian was my family's favorite. The price for two pizzas and fries was about $63 but I think it was worth the money. The decor inside is super cute! Not much to say when Pizza Hut offers a better pizza. I also think the atmosphere needs some improvement.

I need to preface this by saying, we did not get pizza during our first visit. I have a feeling the pizza is absolutely amazing and we will be back soon. I ordered online - an absolute breeze of an experience. I like the experience of ordering online because of communication mis-steps that can take place on the phone, because of background noise (on either end of the phone). So I prefer to order online, especially because it's so easy to spell out any changes I need to make. We ordered the chicken wings because of all of the online chatter about them and they did not disappoint. Barnstormers is now my go-to wing place because those things are LEGIT. I ordered them plain with the sauce on the side so that I'd be able to really taste the wings and they are so scrumpchs. We also ordered two sandwiches. This is where things went awry. The Barrel Roll and the Pushback Tug. The "stuff" inside was great, plenty of meat, plenty of everything. It was the bread. The bread tasted old and stale. I don't know if it was just a bad night or what, but yuck. It really turned me off. But then I remembered, it's a pizza joint, I shouldn't complain about the bread. So. I'll try them again, and we'll get pizza. The pickup experience was also easy; the girl at the front was very nice and I enjoyed hearing something about leaving the hanger with a few scattered woohoos and thank yous. I love Barnstormers Pizza! They are the closest pizza place to my home but even if they were farther away I'd be a loyal customer. Their pizzas (I've tried most of the variations on the menu) have all been excellent. Their dough makes a perfectly tasty crust. The toppings are plentiful. The flavors always satisfy. The "dad jokes" from "Bucky" hand written on every box always give me a chuckle. Every time I order for delivery they say 45-60 minutes. I don't think it's ever taken them more than 20 minutes to get us our pizza fresh, hot and delicious, even during bad weather. We simply love 'em! read more

Very, very disappointed as a first time customer. I ordered a large Prop Wash pizza. Hardly any sauce & cheese. Very dried out. Also, ordered a Plain Plane (cheese only) pizza. The description says glorious melted mozzarella. Mine was dried cheese. Horrible. For leftovers the next day, I added more pizza sauce & mozzarella cheese. My leftovers were 100% better than what I over paid for their two pizzas. Never again! read more

I ordered online recently for a pepperoni/ham pizza, 2 orders of wings, and cheese bread. I tried almost every sauce they have and I liked all the sauces. The cheese bread does not have much cheese on it but it is crispy. The wings were soggy, not good at all. No comparison to Sandbar. Neither are breaded so that is not the issue. I can eat Sandbar wings the next day and they are still crispy because they are cooked right. The pizza was ok but I don't love whatever cheese they use, just a personal preference. This is probably not the place for me but I know a lot of people like it so give it a try. read more

Rounding down from 3.5. The crust is the best part of the pizza, it tasted like sourdough and had the perfect crunch while still being soft on the inside. The pizza is expensive, it will be difficult for you to walk away with something less than $20, with recent inflation, maybe this is the norm? We wanted a create your own with four toppings and it came out to $35, so we gut back to two toppings and the cost cut down $10. Also, by the time we got home with it the paper stuck to the pizza at the bottom on multiple slices and it wasn't cut fully to rip a slice out so we needed a knife. read more

Ordered online easy to do, picked up in store - sanitizing stations employees were wearing masks/ very friendly. (Even had a used/ sanitized pen area). So I just spent the last four days in Berrien for graduation weekend. Two of the four days, we went to Barnstormer's Pizza & More, so that should tell you how good it is. The first time we went, we got the Cropduster, and as I am a vegetarian I either never had the option of taking the meat off a taco pizza here, or the people I was with didn't want to hear of it. Not only could I order the specialty taco pizza without meat, they let me know that the Cropduster is pretty good with the plant-based sausage too. So when I was out of leftovers and my parents were in town, this is what we treated them to. My only complaint was that I didn't order more of the macaroni and cheese pizza. It is amazing too. It has a creamy alfredo base and the macaroni and cheese is pretty good too. My kids enjoyed the plain cheese pizza, my husband loved his with sausage/peppers/onions. I can't say enough about it. Last friday I went to Barnstormers Pizza to pick up my $103.00 order at 5:30 pm. I walked up to the counter and was met with a foul mouthed employee describing her drama. I looked at her and a gentleman admonished her for the languag. her response was I don't care what he thinks. The Pizza was good but I can't get past the filth from this clowns mouth. I guess professionalism is not available at this place. There are several Pizza places in Saint Joseph with quality product'. they will get my business from now on.
