Located within Great-wolf Lodge. Made a reservation for 6 adults and 3 kids 3/27/22. We ordered 3 Bone in Ribeyes, 2 bowls of chicken brown rice w quinoa and 1 bowl of salmon brown rice w quinoa. Our chicken tasted bitter. The ribeyes weren't as good as we expected them to be. Maybe our expectations were too high because of the prices. Maybe not a lot of effort was put into the cooking because they assumed we are starving from the swimming. Either way the main dishes were a disappointment. We decided to try Barnwood out since their menu was clearly labeled with GF offerings that made them Celiac friendly. After a bumpy start trying multiple ways to get info about gluten free fare offered at the different Great Wolf Lodge dining options without any success, our server, Lia, was kind enough to get us a personal table side visit by her chef, so he could go over our options and how to order the gluten free options from other restaurants in the resort Timbers (corn tortillas), Buckets (gluten free bun), and the Campfire Kitchen (GF labels). The side items, fries, green beans, asparagus, etc are often gluten free at these locations as well, but he said to be sure to mention food allergies or disorders when ordering to ensure the least possibility of cross contamination. (He also mentioned the other restaurants should have GF fryers.) Mac & cheese was the only side at Barnwood that wasn't GF. Service here was stellar despite them being really busy. Was happy we were able to get a place on the wait-list through Yelp to cut down on waiting idly for a table since the wait was pretty long. The grilled salmon, wilderness bowl, and kids chicken tenders were all a hit. The half chicken itself was pretty bland without the chimichurri sauce, but the portion was large and the sides were good. We will be back for sure! read more

I normally dislike theme park food but bar wood is high quality. It's a shame they're only open for dinner. And even more that they took the shrimp paste off the menu. The peach cobbler was incredibly delicious. Service is good. Hostess can be nicer. But overall good food. read more

Food: 2 Service: 4 Setting: 4 Food: Grilled cheese, cheese wasn't even melted. Half roasted chicken, cooked perfectly but bland. Wild mushroom dish, blank and salmon overcooked. Grilled salmon plate, severely overcooked, like eating salmon flavored cardboard. Tried sisters ribeye for $44, tiny cup of chimchurri (all dishes) thats not enough for the dish, cooked perfectly medium rare but was no way a ribeye. Texture was closer to a sirloin or ny strip. Kids chicken tenders, good, crispy, decent chicken to breading ratio. Kids cheeseburger, overcooked patty but atleast cheese was melted through. Service: waitress was awesome, 5/5. Front host wouldnt seat a group of 10 with a split reservation for 6 and 4 with open 10 seat tables, sat another group without reservation after for 10 group. (Reservations only go up to 8) Ambience: Family friendly but if you have babies sit further inside since the dance party was going on and closer to it means louder. read more

soooo yummy! their bolognese was so good. their soup & salad was fresh. our server was also very attentive & nice considering it was a saturday after the water park had closed. we were also able to be seated without a reservation! first time trying this place after coming to GWL many times 10/10! read more

Came here with my sister first and I loved it so much, I brought my Mom the second time. The atmosphere is so fun with all the activities they have for the kids inside the Great Wolf Lodge. The food is delicious and their drinks are amazing. I will be coming here again. read more

Horrible! First the wait was 45 min but ok it's a Saturday. Ordered a GWL margarita that never came. Sat and watched the bartenders make drink after drink and even walking away from the bar to socialize. Even the server was pissed. The food is gross, absolutely horrible. I ordered the steak and fries medium rare and it came well done ( so well done it was hard to chew). I ended up only having 2 bites. I would never eat there again. Not to mention we were never given any silverware or napkins. Trying to get those utensils was more of a chore then the drink I ordered but never got. read more

Food is meh ..not worth the price. Food lacks seasoning . We ordered Shrimp pasta plate. Lacked flavor , shrimp under cooked. Wilderness bowl . From check in , to service to food, everything was horrible and a complete waste of time and money. We Stayed at Great Wolf Lodge so decided to eat dinner there. Three tired hungry kids but the host said the wait was 10 minutes. The fact that it took her about 5 minutes to then tell me it would be 10 minutes should have been a sign. After 30 minutes-I asked status and we finally got sat. Our waitress was horrible. When we asked for crayons she said-"we are out, disappointing huh?" And gave us this look like she hated her job. Our food, kids meals a salad and a pasta took 50+ minutes. The supervisor came over and apologized and was nice, said they were short staffed. Okay then maybe don't seat people just say your sold out vs wasting everyones time. Our group of 8 was pleasantly surprised by the meal we had at Barnwood. We got a late reservation at 9pm thanks to the gracious manager Andrew. We enjoyed drinks and entrees including the steak with garlic fries, salmon with chimichurri sauce and the short rib pasta. Considering we were in GWL, the meal was reasonable and satisfying. The kids options were also a good value and we ordered chicken fingers for our toddler that came with a drink, fruit, veggie sticks and fries for $9.99. It was a bit loud like the water park so don't count on any romantic ambiance. The only challenge was it hard to make reservations in advance. Try the GWL and use the chat function for best results. read more

We ate here twice during a recent visit. During the first visit, the server was really good and on top of things. The three meals we ordered were a mixture of average. During the second visit, the server started out poor but improved through the meal. She was non existent for about 10 minutes. And then it seemed that every request was putting her out. Her attitude seemed to change and she was good by the end of the meal. The food was once again a mix of average. My cheeseburger was over cooked. The place is loud. It's really LOUD when there is story time next door. Next time, we will probably eat at the pizza place or drive somewhere outside the resort. read more

Overpriced and the worst steak I have ever had, full of tendons and hard gristle, has to cut about 1/4 to 1/3 if it away to even eat it.

You are better off eating at the burger or pizza place in the hotel. They just changed the menu, so not sure what the food was like before 8/11/22. My husband ordered the chicken alfredo, the pasta was hard and sauce watery. Kids ordered mac and cheese, the cheese was grainy feeling in your mouth. I got the bowl, if you don't pay extra for the added protein (I added shrimp), your basically ordering a big side dish with extra extra garlic. Forgive me if I am wrong but I am not one to complain. Tonight me and the family spent the whole day at The Wolf Lodge. After swimming and riding the water slides all day you kinda work up an appetite. We decided to have dinner at Barnwood. They seemed to be really busy for a Thursday night about an hour wait. After being seated we were greeted and asked what we would like to order. I order the cheeseburger meal and was asked how I would like it cooked. Not sure why I was asked how I want it cooked and get delivered the total opposite. I asked for it cooked medium and received an over cooked hockey puck. Appetizers were horrible really dry pretzels and stale dipping sauces. I always feel you should get what you pay for. This place is really overpriced and not worth it at all. So many issues with the staff and the bar to list. Hopes this helps you not make the same mistake me and the family made. read more

Looks like a nice restaurant and I thought it would be great gourmet food due to the high prices. However, I was wrong I got the chicken Alfredo and had to send it back the first time because it was cold. When it came back hot this time it tasted like a lean cuisine and I spent $22 for it. I got the meatball and garlic bread for an appetizer and the marinara sauce was watered down and the meatballs tasted like frozen meatballs. Overall was bland overpriced frozen food. It's the only sit down restaurant in Great Woof Lodge and requires a reservation. Multiple wait staff which was great unlike the other places to eat there. Unfortunately that wasn't enough to save our experience. The food was bland and poorly made. The atmosphere was ok but we were very disappointed. Anyways, there were 5 of us and I was texted 15 minutes before our reservation they canceled and rescheduled for tomorrow. Front staff are not flexible with their customers. We ordered two rib eye and both requested for medium. One came in cooked medium, the other one was cooked medium well. Their calamari is spicy, needed to request not to make it spicy. Servers are friendly and nice. read more

We had a party of 12 for my son's birthday. Service was no good. They didn't have enough chairs for 12 of us. They didn't serve a mixed drink from the bar with the rest of the drinks. It came about 20 minutes later. The fries were cold. One of the pasta dishes had a hair in it. Some weird extra charge was added to the bill, but could not be explained. Even though we were there for a birthday we had to ask four times to have the staff sing to the birthday boy. I guess they don't give a little dessert for the birthday boy. My order, which was a salad came a good fifteen minutes after everyone else's. The bill was split up into four; which was nice, but not one of them was correct and one had a weird charge on it. The food, tasted good other than the cold fries and of course the hair in the pasta. My parents split their dinner, but a small appetizer plate was offered to share the plate. It took 2 1/2,hours for our dining experience. I understand that they may have been low on staff, but some of the issues had nothing to do with being low on staff. read more
