Did they change the pepperoni? Last I was there they were thin they used to be the good thicker cupped pepperoni

Yes, we noticed the same besides many other changes like the salad dressing, the delicious sourdough artisan bread, even the butter. Everything has changed, including the delicious cheese they used to put on their pizzas.

    Is there an AARP discount?

As far as I know they do not.

    Is there a full bar?

    Yes

    Do you DELIVER?

    No delivery

    Do you offer delivery?

    No delivery

Do they still have the spumoni ice cream pie? It's not in the new menu.

No the company that supplied the spumoni pie discontinued it.

Is this place pronounced Barone's or Baroneee's/Baroney's?

It is now pronounced: Barly-edible's(with angry servers & management complimentary!!)

    What crust thickness is best?

    Thin

Is the pizza crust keto friendly?

    No, of course not.

Any vegan friendly items on the menu?

Greetings I do not have their menu as best as I remember they do have meatless items. I do know that offer meatless lasagna. I guess it is how strict of a vegan you are. Hope this helps.

Did Barone's get new ownership? Or did they change their pizza? I remember it being more garlicky....

Not new ownership, but the cooks seem to have changed. The food is not as good as it once was! The owners no longer seem to care.

Thin crust that is very flavorful, good sauce, not too much cheese, just enough, not that deep dish stuff that midwestern people think is pizza but is something else entirely. When I first moved here, you could not get the real deal, it was disappointing. Then the grandson of Regina's Pizza in the north End opened up the Pizza Connection is Canoga Park and it was really good. He opened a bunch of other locations but over time, not sure why, the pizza just wasn't as good. My child Emily Asher Kellis disagrees, still loves it, but she was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, so what does she really know about pizza. After trying a bunch of different "New York City" pizza joints that were just ok, we found Santino's NY Pizza in Sherman Oaks and were very happy with it, authentic East Coast pizza. Well last week I discovered they went out of business. Oh no, what were we going to do? So I researched and found there was a place in Sherman Oaks called The Pizza Wagon of Brooklyn, only two locations, here and in Brooklyn and people said it was the real deal. Tonight we tried it, and you know what, it might just be even better. Santino's sauce had a slight sweetness to it that we liked that this doesn't but the sauce is good, and the crust is even more flavorful and they are a bit more liberal with the olive oil usage, which true East Coasters love while I am told that most health conscious Southern Californians do not. Anyway, we are quite happy that we can continue to get our pizza craving satisfied when we just gotta have some slices.

Phenomenal pizza & world-class service…read more My daughter has been so excited to try this place--she constantly watches YouTube clips of their pizza while eating back home. Since we don't have a location up in the Bay Area, making a pitstop here during our SoCal trip was an absolute must. We visited on a Friday evening. It's located in a cute, cozy shopping strip, and we were able to find parking without an issue. Inside, the space is clean, bright, and welcoming, with great decor like a fun Godfather poster on the brick wall. We ordered the Spicy Spring and some chocolate chip cookies. Because it was a busy Friday night, our order took a little under an hour to make it to our table. Honestly, we didn't mind the wait at all because the hospitality here is incredible. The wonderful man behind the counter found out it was our first time trying the place and brought us a variety of complimentary slices of their other pizzas to try while we waited. It completely made our night! Here is the breakdown of the food: The Pizza: Incredible across the board. The crusts were remarkably light, thick yet airy, and not heavy at all. The sauce flavor is absolutely delicious. The Spicy Spring: This square slice stole the show. I especially loved that the top layer of pepperoni cups had that perfect touch of crispiness and crunch around the edges. The Chocolate Chip Cookies: Do not sleep on these! They are thick, soft, loaded with huge chocolate chunks, and finished with a perfect sprinkle of sea salt. As a final note, even the bathroom was spotless, which always says a lot about how well a restaurant is run. Amazing food, legendary customer service, and a 10/10 experience for the family. We will definitely be back next time we are in SoCal!

After all, some things lose their soul when they leave home. I am happy to confirm, this is not one of them. The remarkable thing is not that the pizza is good. It's that it feels faithful. Somehow they've captured the character of the original, right down to the chew of the crust and the balance of flavors that made people fall in love with it in the first place. They must be sourcing their water from New York, because they absolutely nailed it. Yes, it's expensive. Then again, so is nearly everything in Los Angeles, especially in Studio City. The difference here is that the price fades from memory the moment the pizza hits the table. This is one of those rare places where the product justifies the cost. If it's your first visit, begin with the Prince Perfection. Then make your way to the Spicy Pepperoni Slice, a piece of pizza that borders on indulgence and somehow still leaves you wanting another bite. Good pizza fills you up. Great pizza stays with you. Prince Street Pizza belongs firmly in the latter category.

If you're going with a group, I highly recommend the Sticks and Dips as an appetizer. I also love their mozzarella sticks. I've personally only ordered their deep dish pizzas so far, and they've been consistently great. I'd love to try their chicken sandwiches at some point, but the deep dish alone keeps me coming back. The service has always been warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly, and when the owner is around, he even comes by to check on you personally, which says a lot. It was honestly really upsetting to hear they were recently robbed--you've got to be a real jerk to go after a local business like this.
