The Smoke House was such a great experience! I loved the Old Hollywood vibe, live Motown music, and dancing. The ribeye, mashed potatoes, famous cheese bread, and martini were all delicious. The staff was wonderful too. Shoutout to our server, Uriel, for taking such great care of us. We'll definitely be back!

We had a reservation for 6:15 PM and were seated right away in a booth. The restaurant has a classic steakhouse feel with dim lighting and a quieter atmosphere. There wasn't any noticeable music during our visit, which made it easy to have a conversation. Parking is essentially valet only, so that made getting there a bit more difficult. One thing worth mentioning is that the staff came by to take a complimentary photo of our group. It's a nice gesture, but afterward they offer to sell it in a souvenir frame which felt a little salesy. I started with the house Pinot Noir, which was smooth, easy to drink, and reasonably priced compared to the rest of the wine list. For food, I ordered the 8 oz Prime Rib cooked medium rare along with the garlic cheesy bread for the table. The garlic bread was easily my favorite part of the meal. It had a soft, cheesy interior with a crisp, golden crust, and the cheese and garlic were well balanced without feeling too heavy. The prime rib had good flavor and was cooked to the requested temperature. It was juicy overall, though a few bites were a little chewier than I expected. Still, it was an enjoyable steak and satisfying for the portion size. I would recommend this as a date night or special occasion category rather than an everyday dinner. It's on the expensive side, but between the atmosphere, attentive service, and decent food, it's a place I may consider returning to when celebrating something.

Lemme start by saying that our server, Roberto, was lovely and attentive. The entire wait staff was, actually. No complaints there. The restaurant itself is really nice. Kind of a vibe. Loved the old-timey music playing. The bar looked gorgeous. The food was... ehhhh. Had the famous garlic bread which was nice but not great. The spinach and artichoke dip was actually really good and possibly the best part of the meal. My burger was average. The cole slaw was bland. The BBQ ribs were cold and kinda rubbery. The baked beans were good, but overly sweet. The beers were extra cold and quite nice. All in all, the food is definitely not worth the price. My boyfriend and I both agreed we'd be back to sit at the bar to share the spinach dip and some beers - but that's about it.

Hey there Party People Doing another road trip to So Cal. Had to have lunch at the Smoke House. It is a restaurant filled with Hollywood history right across from the Warner Brothers studios. The ambience on a scale of 1-10 is an 11 The food is top notch. We started with their famous Garlic cheese bread. It is the absolute bomb. Just so you know it's not the ooey gooey type of cheese but it's fantastic. If you are into Fried pickles then you won't be disappointed, this is another signature dish for the restaurant. I had the Chicken Buena Vista with rice pilaf. The Chicken was perfectly moist the lemon cream sauce was excellent. They were very generous with the Artichoke hearts and mushrooms it was a very filling dish. Hubby got the Cajun Chicken Fettuccine. It was the absolute hands down, in his opinion, the best damn Fettuccine he has ever had. The noodles were cooked to perfection the sauce was heaven. His only slight negative was that the chicken was a little dry. Having said that he practically licked the plate clean. We did split a dessert because when you're on vacation you go for broke The Lava cake was a lesson in pure chocolate decadence. With vanilla ice cream and a generous amount of fresh berries...I need a wheel barrel to get my butt out of the chair Be kind to one another

Came here for the first time for my anniversary dinner. the vibes are super cool and vintage, a lot of black/white photos on the walls The food was not bad, I think that the portions were very good and the prices were good too. The tri tip comes with 2 sides and is a good portion, but we ordered it medium and it looked more medium well. The filet came as we it was ordered (medium rare) and it was well seasoned, it did not need any sauce. I got it with the mashed potatoes, they definitely needed salt/pepper. And the green beans it came with were a little overcooked. The cheesy garlic bread was super yummy! For sure the best thing I ate, the bread was so soft inside while the outside was crunchy. And it had a good garlic flavor The chocolate bundt cake was yummy, not too sweet and the portion was good to share. I love how their martinis come with extra on the side! You are basically getting 2 for the pri of 1. I do wish that it was colder or was served in a chilled glass, it was basically room temp after 15 min.

The Smoke House is one of those classic old school steakhouse restaurants. It seems like a time capsule during the heyday of Hollywood. The feel inside is like an old movie set where you would see mobsters or a high powered dinner in the movies, shaking hands and doing deals, vintage red leather booths, low light, Hollywood royalty and movies on the walls, very cool vibes inside. The food here is great, prime rib is excellent, tender, full of flavor, raw horseradish, nothing better. This is what I got the last time I was there, medium rare prime rib, mashed potatoes and veggies, capped off with a piece of cheesecake. Loved it all, no complaints. They have so much on the menu to try and what I have tried, it is all very good. They have a number of various dining areas as well as a full bar and private rooms for functions. I actually had my rehearsal dinner here 25 years ago for my wedding party, it was amazing, private rooms, great service, great food. It only took me 25 years to write a review, ha ha. This is a place where you can dress up and have a great night out, or just casual shirts and a r-shirt and feel just as comfortable there. Anytime have been here it is always busy, the dining areas as well as the bar is happening. You can enjoy some great food, grab drinks and hang out, it is a good time. They are located across from Warner Bros. And not too much of a stretch to see someone famous there. They do only have Valet parking and the parking all around is by permit only, so beware. Enjoy!

My High School friend recommended this place. I was definitely game since I LOVE checking out buffets that I haven't been to. This place definitely did not fail!! Open from 10 to 2 PM. We went on a Sunday, so we were lucky to find free street parking. I was surprised that on the other side of the street, it was only free for one hour on a Sunday!! There's a valet if you want to pay. We got there before 10 am and there was a line already. Once we got inside, I definitely noticed the decor and how tasteful this place was. Definitely old school with the leather seats. There were eight of us, so they had to put two tables together. We all got a mimosa. After two, I couldn't drink anymore. The dining area which contained all the food was nicely done. The food all looked good and displayed nicely. There were plenty of salads to choose from, different types of meat (chicken, sausage, ...), LOVED the cheese bread. The Omelette station was GREAT. I LOVED my omelette. The only thing that I would recommend is salsa. The dessert section was good, but I was SO FULL, I couldn't enjoy it very much. I LOVE churro, but I didn't like theirs because it had a filling. The chocolate cookie was pretty good. There's also fruit if you want something healthy. Our dirty plates got taken away fairly quickly. Our mimosa glasses were also filled quickly. I LOVED my coffee which was perfect with my desserts. My only complaint was that the gal taking pics didn't even approach our table!! What's with that?!?!

First time dining here.. My son and I came to celebrate the end of his school year.. First off, we didn't have a reservation on a Tuesday evening and this place was packed! We went on a stand by list and waited for about an hour. Killed some time enjoying a cocktail at the very old skool bar which was a cool experience! This place is very nostalgic with all the pics of celebs from yesteryear posted on the walls.. It's kinda of a blast from the past waking into this establishment that the decor probably hasn't changed much since 1946! We ordered some steak entrees, tri tip and a sirloin. Cooked to perfection coupled with some delicious sides. Complemented my meal with a lemon drop martini and finished with a slice of cheesecake.... Overall good experience; food quality, service and ambiance! I would definitely come back here to try other items!

Update on my previous review: went to dinner with friends who had never been to this iconic restaurant. Of course we had to have their famous garlic bread! Then we had the ribeye steak with sides of spinach and massive pile of french fries. Let me just say that no one left hungry and everyone left satisfied. It was quiet cause we went there early, but the service was excellent and the food as always was delicious. It's a must.

Smoke House Restaurant is located at 4420 Lakeside Drive Burbank, California 91505. Simply said this is an outstanding restaurant with incredible food, service, and entertainment. They are known worldwide. When people come to LA this is one of their go-to places to experience. I have enjoyed this establishment many times. I have written reviews in the past, but with a new phone comes a new outlook and a new experience. I was dropped off across the street and approached the front entrance that was well lit and easy to maneuver. There was a valet service that took care of arriving parties. The valet was courteous and helpful. At the entrance the door was opened for me and I walked up the ramp toward the lobby / waiting area. I approached the entrance to the bar / lounge. It was well lit and very busy. This was on a typical Friday before the entertainment started at 9:00 p.m. I looked for my friend as I walked along the bar area. We wanted to eat at the bar so we stood off to the side as we waited for a seat. We let the bartender know that we were going to eat as well as drink. FYI there is a food/drink minimum in the bar/lounge area when there is entertainment. It is easy to satisfy. Once we were seated we ordered food: appetizers, onion rings and calamari. Both were excellent as well as the dipping sauce. The Chipotle aioli and marinara added to the flavor. The calamari had a light coating and was perfectly cooked. The onion rings had a great crunch with fresh cut onion flavor. The Smoke House cheeseburger with everything on it arrived next. The fresh smoked aroma was present immediately. It was beautifully prepared. Fresh lettuce, fresh ripe tomato slice, pickle spear sat neatly alongside the charbroiled filet hamburger covered with American cheese. It was fun putting all the pieces together. Definitely a mouthful! Perfectly cooked medium rare on top of the fresh brioche bun. Each bite was a great tasting experience. While eating, we were also serenaded by the great sounds of the Rick Whitfield band. I've seen them before and they do not disappoint. Great selection of styles and genres. They had a dinner set that featured many memorable songs. After a short break they came back with a dance set with a variety of danceable music, both fast and slow. Many of the diners took to the dance floor. Rick dedicated the number of songs to special events that were happening as well as birthdays. He is a master host as well as a musician. After last call it was time to leave. Such a great experience, we both decided we should return again, and soon. Can't wait to come back and enjoy the friendly service, the excellent food and the fantastic music!

#Date Nite; We enjoyed another night out with this visit to the Burbank Smokehouse. It's an old restaurant serving quality ingredients. Decorated with pictures, live music, valet parking & merch as an upgrade from the McDonalds down the street. The staff is matched with the setting of fair excellence in my opinion. There well know for their garlic bread and their dessert platter is something to explore

Seafood section of the Sunday Brunch as of August 2026

This place was right across from Warner Bros Studios and it's famous for a hot spot for celebrities. George Clooney would frequent it I was told. The reason I wanted to add this to my list was because of the Sunday Brunch Buffet. It's $52.99 per person and 18% gratuity is included but for the selection of what they had SO worth it! They had crab legs, oysters, mussels, tri-tip, various salads and unlimited mimosas and sparkling wine. Beverages also included are orange juice, soft drinks, coffee. I liked their wide variety of dessert selection. If you bring kids here they even have the chocolate fountain fondue. The Crème Brûlée was pretty good. The price is still reasonable for what you get for 2026. Their parking lot seems to be valet only but I arrived a bit earlier before my reservation and found free street parking nearby. Would I be back when I'm in the area? Yeah! For the variety you get, the quality isn't the absolute highest but it's still pretty good for the buffet. This place beats a lot of others buffet places I've been to in Northern California like Scott's Seafood. Oh and yeah their cheesy garlic bread like other reviews was good. Definitely a must try. I also like the old school decor.

First time here. The restaurant was authentic/vintage vibes. A lot of pictures of celebs that have visited here. The service was good but the table booth seating was very uncomfortable. It was good for 50 years ago when people may have been leaner lol. Food was ok. The service was good but felt a little rushed. The medium rare steak was very good. Didn't need steak sauce for sure. The garlic cheese bread was fantastic! The carrot cake was very good, I'd pass on the apple pie. I'd come back here to try a few things again and get seated in a non booth table.l for a little more room. Mimi the server was fantastic :)

Don’t hurt to ask but you may be lucky to get a parking spot right in from of the restaurant. Best wishes.

Hi there. I made a reservation last nite on open table for 7 of us for Saturday nite. We are coming to see Chauncey Hines (as well as to come to your fantastic place). How do we ask to be seated so we can enjoy the music while we are having dinner?

Sorry, I don't know the answer to this question. I think they may have private dining rooms but I am not certain.

Are they more well known for their steaks, ribs, or prime rib? Out of the 3, which is the best? We're going tonight.

All three are good! I'm not a prime rib person but I can tell you that the steaks and ribs are really good!! Also the garlic bread is excellent - despite what some people have written below, it's really yummy!

When is lunch hour till when?

Do you require fixed menus for large parties?,

I'm guessing it depends on the size of the party. We had 11 people last night and ordered off of the menu. If it's dozens of people, you're probably going to want a set menu.

Is the restaurant noisy on a Saturday night or easy to hear the people you're dining with?

Catherine, we do have seating in other dining areas that are removed from the lounge and music. We are happy to honor your request to be in a quieter space. The music does not begin until after 8:30. Thanks for the question. We hope you enjoy…

First, their cafe de olla is absolutely delicious. This remains one of the only places where I genuinely enjoy ordering cafe de olla. Second, their food is incredible. They serve excellent portions, everything tastes fresh, and the food is just so good. I've had their taquitos and chilaquiles, and both were delicious. The only downside is that every time I've come, there has usually been a bit of a wait, especially because the restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating. The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. That said, the staff are wonderful and always try to be as accommodating as possible despite how busy they are. Highly recommend this place if you're okay with possibly waiting a bit for seating. My friend and I went into this Cafe De Olla on the 17th of this month at 2pm. She met me there and lives in Burbank. I have been here once, I believe back in 2018. It was pretty solid in every way. We were warmly greeted by Erick--the host, standing by the podium and right away he got us a seat inside. After like 5 minutes, Elsa, our server approached us to take our order. My friend and I both felt like we were being rushed through our meal. Food came out hot and quick. We opted for a few of their dishes. Tacos Mananeros, came with 4 tacos ($18.95), with 4 complimentary sauces. 2 of the sauces were very spicy and Elsa didn't warn us. We also got the Veggie Omelette with tomatoes, onions, spinach, mushrooms, Jack cheese, topped with avocado and a side order of hash browns. They made the hash browns perfectly. Told her nice and crispy on the top and that's what we got. (18.95). We also shared their French Toast topped with Strawberry, Blueberries, and Blackberries. ($16.95) topped with lots of Whipped Cream (which I love) and a side of syrup. We needed to add more syrup to make the French Toast more moist. The French Toast was a bit dry for our liking. Even the people sitting next to us who ordered the same thing were saying the same. On the flip side, the other 2 dishes tasted fresh and delicious. Great portions for the prices. We also got this drink called Powerful from their smoothies section of the menu. It was called Green Smoothie. Ingredients were the following: blueberries, honey, Greek Vanilla yogurt, avocado and Almond milk. It was simply very refreshing and delicious. My friend wanted some sort of Latte, Espresso, Americano, etc..but they didn't have any of those drinks. All they had was regular & decaf coffee. At first, I asked for Cranberry juice, and Jose, said they only had Apple and Orange juice. We found it a bit odd not to have any of those drinks. Going back to our server Elsa, she was a bit aloof and forgetful. I asked for a bowl of fruit, and it never made it to our table. After we were done eating, I asked for two to-go boxes and a bag, she forgot that too. We had to ask the other employees to get them for us. The same with to-go containers for our sauces. She forgot to bring napkins too. Jose, (our busboy), needs a raise and promotion! This young man read all the ingredients on the Taco menu which came with: bacon & egg, chorizo with potato & eggs, machaka/eggs, & nopaitos/eggs. The writing in their menu was very small. Another server by the name of Angel, truly was an angel. Checked on us while Elsa was taking orders over the phone. They have another location in Monrovia, a gender neutral restroom, place was very clean. Inside was small. It had 10 tables and nice couches with cozy, inspirational decor and pillows. Lovely music playing over head with a nice patio seating. Will I return? Yes, but not anytime soon! Also check for their business hours..

Think about it: they're running the entire operation behind the scenes- servers, inventory, scheduling, front of house, kitchen area, customers, and putting up with all the nonsense in between, and I know there's a lot of *that* as a former restaurant worker myself! That's why Allison at Finney's is so kick-ass. She runs Finney's flawlessly. I'm a big foodie and hit up lots of different restaurants around LA, and Finney's in Burbank has definitely become my go-to spot. Allison does such a great job of providing a great customer experience from the moment I walk in to paying my tab. It's not just her welcoming demeanor, but it's also the same positive energy I see in the staff when she's running things. It's nice to know there are still places that care about a great customer experience and making you and your friends right at home, especially when you're celebrating with some of your closest friends and creating perhaps some of your final memories of LA.

The host sat us down at a two top. It felt quite small, so we asked if we could move to the booth that just opened up. Very pleased that they didnt even hesitate to let us. We ordered the house IPAs and they were deliciously hoppy. Will be back to try their other house beers for sure. We ordered the brussel sprouts with bacon for our appetizer. The figs was such a nice sweet layer to the crispy, crunch, and tart brussels. Paired well with the bacon too. Ordered the proscuitto with arugula flatbread for our "main". Amazed that it was $14 and it was a pretty big flatbread! I would say that the proscuitto wasnt spread out enough. There were some pieces that didnt have any at all! The proscuitto gave the salty, arugula added a nice pepper flavor, and the honey drizzle gave it a sweetness. Checked all the boxes. Will definitely be back to try more of their bar bites, if not just for that flatbread and beers!

We also tried some additional appetizers: lobster and crab cakes and double cut smoked bacon. Both delicious. For beverages we tried: the doli, blackberry bourbon sidecar, and capital cosmopolitan. We also tried a glass of wine: DeLille Cellars, Chaleur Blanc. Every drink was amazing. Our server Halina took good care of us along with all of the staff there!

Green sauce resembles a chimichurri. Pretty good. Frites are crisp outside and starchy and soft inside. Well salted. But the sauce for fries is lacking in flavor. A simple ketchup would have been better. Ambiance is high end restaurant. It's great. Service was slow for us and they forgot the bread basket. We're kind of getting neglected in the side by the window. Overall: dina LA set $25 lunch is great deal.

That says a lot about the staff. Our server, she was a young lady, was on top of everything and really made our time here enjoyable. I came here for happy hour on a Tuesday was surprised to find out they do $2 tacos and $5 margaritas. Let me tell you, the tacos are delicious and the margaritas are STRONG. It's a hell of a good time. I really enjoyed the chicken taco and carne asada taco. The meats were juicy and very flavorful. I also ordered their nachos, chili cheese fries and bread pudding. The nachos were made perfectly with the chips being thin and crispy. They used a couple different cheeses and the jalapeños were a nice touch. Definitely ordering it again, I can do without the chili cheese fries. It was good but it wasn't amazing. Their bread pudding was HUGE and I can see why it's one of the popular items here. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft and gooey in the inside. Morrisons is definitely a fun place to be. Perfect to enjoy happy hour, catch the games on, and hang out friends. They have plenty of seating inside and outdoor with heat lamps. They are dog and kid friendly as well
