3.9. This review is based on ordering after hours. It's between 1am-5am on the south side and you want something other than burgers, hotdogs and any fast food chain. Solely for takeout. The wings, pasta, calamari and beef(forgot my cheese) were good. The burger(medium) was ok. The Parmesan garlic fries were great. An overload of Parmesan on the fries did it for me. Loved them. I look forward to trying more items on the menu that would boost this to the 4th level of stars. Overall a 24/7 place like this where you can get dinner dishes at 4am is good in my book. The Alfredo chicken pasta adding shrimp was a hit.

What is it on 95th Street? They have great restaurants.... We usually order from Palermo's which they are on my top 10 but barracos is not far behind... I have to tell you one thing I absolutely love and it's something as simple as the bread that is served in the beginning with their seasoned olive oil is out of this world..... It was a beginning of a great start with our meal. We started off with a pizza which was delicious but we were to full to truly enjoy the Alfredo and lasagna that we had ordered, but we certainly did take it home to have another meal....... The server we had was very friendly and efficient....... The only issue that I came across was when we walked in there was nobody up in the front. Somebody came from outside who worked there and passed us.. a few minutes after finally somebody came to see us.... But overall was a good meal..... Will definitely be going back

Good gluten free pizza is hard to find....but I can stop looking. Barracos pizza is darn good. The crust is crisp and the toppings are so fresh. Really cannot tell that it's GF. Knocking off a star because the middle of the pizza is always stuck to the cardboard and barely edible. I took a bite of the regular pizza and it's delicious as well. Also a big deal to me that they offer shrimp as a premium topping. Hoping to dine in one day as I've only gotten carryout. Pizza here is pricey but worth it for GF!

Barracos was very accommodating for our group. Although it took a long time to get ahold of anyone, I understand the understaffing issues these days. Once at the restaurant we were satisfied with the service, and the food was very good. Only a few small issues was actually amazing for a large group. I would recommend this location.

    Ask the Community - Barraco's

Does Barraco's have the knowledge and ability to make some Vegan pizzas?

Not positive but I don't see why not. I know they have gluten free pizza and you can skip the cheese. Best to call them before you go.

    Do they have good mostaccoli?

Yes! The sauce is good and the Mostacholli is cooked fine. Its an Italian restaurant!

The cracker thin crust complements the thin layer of cheese and toppings. They've been doing this for decades so they have their pizza and entrees down packed. This is definitely a neighborhood joint with an extremely popular rep with locals and tourists. I enjoyed taking in the old school vibe and looking at family photos lining the walls from decades past. One thing especially stood out regarding décor and that was the carpet lining the walls! Street parking is the only thing available. They are cash only and they have no ATM. Come prepared.

Reasonably pleasant waitress gave us estimate of 30 minutes for a large pizza. Right on the button, though it's not clear to me why it should take so long to bake a very thin crust pie when there are 20+ people in the dining room. The pizza was mediocre at best. If you like cracker-style crust, that helps. However, the sauce had little flavor to it and modest amount of cheese. Dining room tables are very close together; we could move around them ok, but when the joint is rockin' and full, it's very tight. We had to try the pizza but the sandwiches and some dinners are very reasonably priced. Extremely small bathrooms. V&N might be a legend and it's great to exist after more than 100 years, but there's no reason for me to return. Decent size parking lot on south side of restaurant.

Peace and love, everyone!!…read more It's been a long minute since I left a review, so I'm happy to talk about a new food place! My wife and I finally ordered from Paisans Pizza in Oak Lawn, something we've been wanting to do for a long minute. As I have been working out and watching how much I eat since December, I very much look forward to having a 'big back day', as my daughter says! So the online ordering process was very easy. I ordered a medium cheese pizza, a medium sausage pizza, the Southwestern egg rolls, and finally some garlic parmesan wings. When I went to pick up the food, it took a few minutes to find a parking space as there are no spaces for pick-up orders. But when I went in there, nice ambiance with the planes, the cars, and the camper, which is where I had to pick up my order from. The place was jumping (I was there about 6pm on Saturday), and it seemed like a nice overall vibe. Ok so I pick up my order and get back to the crib! First, the pizza: both pizzas were really good. Nice amount of cheese, nice amount of sausage, for both, nice amount of sauce. Now the pizza was good, let me be clear, but on the box it says the 'best pizza in the world'. So my honest opinion is that is it better than all the other pizza places in the area (Domino's, Nonna's, etc)? YES...easily! Is Paisans better than Beggars Pizza? I say yes, my wife says no. Either way, we both agree that they have some good pizza! The garlic parmesan wings lived up to the hype. Crispy wings, nice amount of seasoning, not overpowering. As for the Southwestern egg rolls, this was the only thing I ordered where I was like 'meh'. The shell wasn't really crispy, I think it was a bit bland, and the sauce cup had opened up and spilled in its takeout box. Put it this way...Chili's Southwestern egg rolls are much better, by comparison, in terms of flavor. All in all, this was not a bad eating experience. The food was good all around, and for me, only the egg rolls could have been better. Also, the food was a little on the expensive side....so that is something to keep in mind also. So, does this mean we'll be back? Absolutely! Food.................................B+ Price.................................C (the food is very expensive) Ambiance........................A Customer Service...........A (Ready on time and attentive, friendly employees)

Me and my travel companion ordered a strawberry shake, slice of cheese pizza and some spumoni ice cream to celebrate 70° weather in the Spring. The pizza took some time to come out. Oh my gosh...this is the most delicious creamiest ice cream I've ever had. I had to force myself to not eat the whole thing in one sitting! It was so good, I broke the to-go spoon and then used the broke spoon to keep eating it smh So definitely try out the spumoni ice cream. And I guess try out the pizza? Idk

Since I ordered through Uber Eats I had to request a refund from them. Barracos said I could keep this one which was very kind since I didn't feel like ordering and waiting again for my deep dish (which typically takes 45 minutes to cook). I skimmed through the reviews as we all tend to do now, and figured I'd give it a shot. Let me say, it did not disappoint. I ordered a sausage and pepperoni pan pizza and XL half cheese half pepperoni. The pizzas were great. The sauce is very tasty, as the reviews stated. It's a sweet sauce so be prepared. The crust had a good crunch with a hint of char that gave it a brick oven feel even though it wasn't. Both pizzas also came with a 1 liter soda of your choice. The real star of this place was the service. You know the place is special when you're the only one they ask 'What's the name?'. Everyone coming in, I hear being addressed on a first name basis. I hear them telling long time customers, 'I see you changed it up today'. That was so awesome to see. So many places don't take that time. I got to meet Natalie and Frank. They run the place. Oh! And one of their sons. They were awesome. Took my order and while I was waiting kept conversation with me about any and everything. Was such an easy vibe, felt like they were long time friends which was nice. Didn't have to go wait in the car or sit there in silence, they made you feel included. They mentioned the BYOB patio they open right next door in the summer. Which I've seen before and plan to enjoy with the family. Overall, I enjoyed this place. The pizza was good, the people and service amazing. Not much more you can ask of a pizza spot. I will be back and if you're ever in the area give it a shot. Might just be one of those places that has you saying 'Ooh, we have to get TaTa's while we're out here."
