Had a good time - waitress was super attentive. Everyone liked their food, glad a new location opened up for TP residents.

My friend and I are regular (almost weekly) visitors of Barraco's on Harlem. The food is great and Holly is usually our waitress. She is wonderful... so friendly and efficient. She anticipates what we might need and brings it even before we ask! The pizza is terrific and the crust is so thin... just the way we like it. We'll be back. Our family loves Barracos and have been long time customers in Evergreen Park, Mt Greenwood, and Crestwood. We have always been very happy and satisfied but this location needs a lot of improvement. First of all, the service was horrible!I'm not going to mention this poor girls name but omg she was so slow. Our server took awhile to greet us, took our entire order and didn't bring our drinks and water until right before our appetizers came out. We sat at a round table near the bar and just gazed at our drinks in the bar server station waiting to be delivered to us. We all ate the bread and sat there with nothing. She forgot to bring our salads. The food was fine. We enjoyed the pizza. I didn't like that the atmosphere was the exact same as Traversos decorated in the 1970's. Just so old fashioned. Our family won't go to this location anymore. Better off going to Crestwood instead. read more

Tried the buffet. Very good for the price. Never had their pizza but I tried it on the buffet. It was very tasty.

The deep dish pizza was amazing and delicious. We got pepperoni and sausage so good loads of mozzarella we also got a mostacholli Alfredo excellent nice and creamy good dinner salad read more

Tried this for the first time tonight, and will never go back ever again. I ordered six baked clams and a veal Parmesan over Mostaccioli.. it tasted like they dropped the mostaccioli in the water for five seconds and pulled it out. It was so hard we couldn't even eat it. The veal was so tough you could not bite through it, and the baked clams were not cooked all the way through and they were so spicy we had to throw them out. Very disappointing read more

We have always really enjoyed Baraccos pizza from some of the other locations so we were anxious for this location to open. They did not disappoint. We enjoyed the same delicious, quality pizza as usual. We also tried their Bruschetta and the Appetizer Plate, both were very good with generous portions. The service was outstanding and the prices are reasonable. I recommend sitting outside on the patio if weather permits. We will definitely be back. read more

I have never heard of reservations for a bar. At 6:15p on a Sunday unless you have reservation you can't even sit at the bar, unheard of I will not be back. read more

July 14th on a Friday evening the wife had a taste for pizza and she wanted to try the new place that just opened in Orland Park on Harlem Avenue. She ordered takeout one large stuffed sausage and a medium cheese for the grandkids. I wasn't overly impressed because the stuffed was all dough and hardly any pizza. The cheese was average nothing to brag home about. We got bread and some cheese for $50 bucks. There are other pizza parlors that I truly enjoy. My husband and I came in for dinner, the food was nothing to brag about the service was ok but at the end of our meal as I was finishing up my cocktail I noticed something at the bottom of my drink, there were over 5 fruit flies at the bottoms of my drink! disgusting! would not recommend nor will we ever come back. read more

On Friday August 11, 2023 my friend and myself went Barracos for our first time. Our wait time and interaction started off ok from the moment we were seated it went downhill. To start our server Kaitlyn was inattentive and downright rude. Our booth was directly next to kitchen and she walked by us at least 20 times with little to no communication. I ordered Chicken picatta my friend ordered small pizza. When food finally came out 25 minutes later my noodles were dry and over cooked and when I tasted chicken the lemon sauce was extremely bitter. Eventually I got Kaitlyn's attention she "asked" how was food I explained the issues she immediately said she was getting manager... 15 minutes later Kaitlyn appeared and said that manger said they were not removing meal from ticket and that is the recipe. She then asked if i wanted to box the food up and take the food home to give to some one else... The audacity!! who am I taking the dry noodles and bitter chicken to???? Eventually Kaitlyn presented our check.. yes check never asking if we wanted separate checks. On the evening of August 2, 2023, my husband, sister-in-law, and I went for a quick dinner near her residence in Orland Park. We decided on Barraco's Pizza. Upon entering we noticed there was no one at the reception to greet us. After waiting a few minutes a young lady came up and asked if we had been helped. We said, "No". She then left and another young lady came up and asked if we had been helped and again, we said "no". She left and came back with menus and seated us. After 20 minutes of waiting, we decided to leave. No one and I mean no one said anything to us!!!! The one waiter helped the other tables, but NEVER came to our table! My husband (a retired US Veteran), my sister-in-law and I left. THIS IS A BLANTANTLY RACIST establishment! Sad, very sad. read more

This is the first time I have not wrote a review on this app due to a Viral outburst from other people on social media. I'm posting this with complete regret because I've been visiting the "family" location for years. Tonight I was visiting my parents, I live out of town. Tonight we ordered a pizza and a side salad. They did not deliver the salad as was paid for. When called to ask where the salad was "Bryan-Brian" (whatever the spelling) decided to berate and make fun of my parents while on speaker phone. Normally this comes off as funny to me because I'm close to the age he probably is but Bryan was so inconsiderate and deceitful I couldn't help but give y'all a one star review and make a post. Where do I start on the absolute terrible experience we received from the employees of this restaurant. We were actually greeted nicely and seated quickly but that is where the experience of any type of good service ended. Our waitress was rude from the moment she stepped up to our table. There was no greeting, no can I offer you a drink, or how are you. She handed our menus immediately asked what would we like order. When I asked what drinks they carried, she walked away while saying I will get a drink menu. It was 10 minutes later when she dropped them off and walked away. When she finally returned, she never asked me what I wanted to drink but asked what would we like to order to eat. Once we ordered she walked away and never took my drink order. I obviously had to stick with water and that would be the last and only drink I got, no refills or even an attempt to ask if I needed anymore water. Our food came 40 minutes later and during that time we never saw her besides when she walked straight past us and ignored us. Mind you we were right next to the kitchen. When we got our food she dropped it off and left. The entree that my friend received was absolutely terrible, dry noodles that were hard and burnt. When the waitress finally came back after we stopped her, asked how the food was and that is when my friend informed her of entree. The waitress looked down and said ok, I will find a manager. My friend never asked for a manager or anyone but answered the question of how was the food. The waitress once again disappeared for 15 minutes. By that time I shared my personal pizza and waited for our check. The waitress came back and stated the manager said she could not take the food off the bill and asked if she wanted a box to take her food home. Why would that be an option and also she never asked for a free meal or a manager. At that point we asked for a check and again waited way too long. We finally got a check, then it took another 20 to get her to take the bill. She informed us we could not split the check and seemed upset we would ask. When we got our final bill to sign, we noticed that we were charged a service charge of $11 and then charged for using a credit card. Never being told we would be charged for not using cash. I understand there will be service charges in many restaurants and that wasn't upsetting. What was upsetting is when I asked what the extra amount was, she again brushed us off and just said I will find a manager. After waiting again for over 10 minutes, the manager who we could see sitting on the entrance couch on the phone was not coming nor was she going to take our bill. I signed my bill and walked to the exit. When I left I asked the lady at the hostess stand who the manager was and she answered me, with the lame answer that I am one of the managers. She asked me what I needed and I began to tell her why I was asking and she began to brush me off as if she was late for an important meeting. She began to get very condescending and asked is this over a couple cents. At this point the level of professionalism and customer obviously stems from poor management. I would never recommend these restaurants to anyone. They need to train people to be able to answer the minimum of questions and basic customer service. After reading many of the reviews I see that this is not the first or probably the last time this restaurant treats people this way. I am sure they will blame it on every paying customer and claim they are rude or "Karen's" but to be honest the terrible service is to blame and lack of accountability. read more
