I just witnessed the most racist thing I've ever seen. A woman of color and two small children were treated like they were from another planet. The manager completely lied to her face stating they didn't have clean plates for them and they had to use paper plates. Everybody else had real silverware and glasses, and these folks were given plastic forks and paper cups. It was 3 o'clock in the afternoon and there were only two other families in the whole place. Staff was great and super helpful. Pizzas were packed with toppings. We had one veggie thin crust and three regular crust pizzas with a variety of toppings. All the pizzas were delicious. I had a large garden salad which was a great size, fresh and cool. The kids loved the little play area. We had a wonderful time and great food. A little noisy but its a pizza place. read more

Place is good and inside is always clean with plenty of seating. Food is great too! My one suggestion is to put a menu display in the middle where you walk in or near it. Or to have laminated handheld menus you can grab, sit down, and then go up and order for your party. The only place to see the menu is at the register so you're just awkwardly standing in front of the cashier trying to figure out what everyone wants when you have a large group. Just a suggestion that I think would be a good idea! read more

This is only a review of the pizza as I haven't tried anything else. The pizza here is delicious and the crust has the right amount of thickness and seasoning. We always order the white pizza and it's so good. The ricotta cheese with the olive oil base is one of the best I've had taste wise. The atmosphere indoors is nice and spacious, and they have self-serve drinks that include sodas, black iced tea and a naturally flavored iced green tea. Definitely a fan of anything iced green tea that is flavored without added sugar. I noticed some arcade games, and even an old school tabletop Pac-Man! The staff are always friendly as well, there isn't much to not like about this place. The only thing I noticed was that soy is an included ingredients in their pizzas. Seems like a weird thing to add, I'm assuming its soybean oil which unfortunately is common with a lot of pizza places. I'd definitely give it a five star if they replaced that with olive oil. read more

First time trying Barro's and I'm impressed. I ordered delivery on New Year's Eve (a busy night for pizza - if you know, you know!) and got my food before the promised time. I ordered a medium Mega Meat which was AWESOME. So many toppings, and not greasy at all. The 6 piece hot wings were really great too. At first I thought they gave me more than I ordered because the wings were so big! I also got the breadsticks which were good - I will probably order the cheese breadsticks next time though. The delivery driver did miss dropping off the wings (nbd, it's New Year's Eve and I could tell he was hustling!) but a quick call to the store and he was back within 5 mins. This is a great spot for lunch. Only if you arrive before 12. If you get here after 12 you are gonna be waiting for a little while. It's not to bad but if your on a time frame it's probably not in your favor. Lunch specials are reasonably priced you can get two slices and a drink for under $10. The good thing is that it is a real pizza place. So you have pizzas, wings and salads. The atmosphere is good not to noisy. And the food is better. The pizza is really good. If I could I would swing by as often as I can. Problem with that is that no one will want to come with me. I love pizza that much. 4 stars would recommend. Good for all occasions. Six of us decided that we were in the mood for pizza. We piled in the car and headed to Barro's Pizza and we were a little concerned when the parking lot was full and had to park across the street in the Walmart parking lot and walk over as we were catching a movie after dinner. When we walked in, Barro's was crowded. We sent our children to find a table that would accommodate us and we ordered. For an extra large cheese pizza ($12.75) and two orders of mozzarella sticks (large order ($5.99 each) plus two regular drinks and three kids drinks, the total was about $35.00. Really, it's a great deal. First the mozzarella sticks came out and in a appropriate amount of time for a busy Saturday night, the cheese pizza came too. The food was at the right temperature and absolutely delicious. A bonus, the kitchen play area and games are also still available to entertain the little ones. Great food and great prices! read more

It's the pizza that didn't know what it wanted to be, where to start, it's hard to begin. Crust that is thick like a deep dish, sauced like a deep dish, yet ...isn't ¿?, a deep-dish ? The roll or toss , or whatever method they're using to do dough, leaves a thick end and thin bottom, creating a soggy, hard to eat mess that falls apart,cheese/toppings included. The sauce is on the touch of sweet side, not bad but maybe needs a punch of crush red p's to balance it out. I don't know if this is merely a result of the 16inch dough, but it's a shame because those Italian meatballs are tasty. The team is nice and I would maybe try it again but maybe a smaller pie and eating inside would make a difference? I don't know, but I miss Luna. read more

The food tasted wonderful however my family and I had never been here before so when we walked in, we stood there for about five minutes while to staff members said hi to us but nothing else. By the time we got to ordering the two servers/bartenders seemed to be in a terrible mood, because disrespectful to us because we were new questioning customers. Great place just off the freeway and well worth the effort to find parking. The sandwiches are huge and the selection covers all the bases. What makes it so is that they roll out pizza dough and build the tasty things on it then bake. I always order the deli meat ones but have them substitute the spicy mayo with their damn near perfect red sauce. They do pizza amazing and prices are good. With Italian food it's all about the sauce and they got that down. Very nice and friendly owners as well. Salads are solid and adult beverages very reasonably priced. Check out their daily specials. Decent Pizza, great service. I ordered a meaty pizza and it was fine. Not great, not bad. Just didn't have a lot of zesty flavor to it. My wife ordered the Spaghetti with Meatballs. Same deal: Meatballs were tasty, but the sauce wasn't very flavorful. As for the venue: large, cool place with a bar-like atmosphere. Lots of TVs, fast, efficient service. One of the unique things was the soda dispenser. It has the normal Pepsi products and while I prefer Coke, Mountain Dew is a fine backup. The interesting part was that it has a device in the center of the fountain that dispenses flavor syrup. So you can pour your normal drink, then add a squirt of extra flavor. I recall strawberry, cherry, lime and I think vanilla. I'd give the service and efficiency 4 stars and the food 3.5 stars. read more

So this is a final sayonara to Barro's Pizza. These last couple of visits to Barro's have been... disappointing. There's no reason why the coupons they send out shouldn't also be able to be used with online ordering. Every other retailer has unique codes on their coupons that can be used online, in store, or over the phone. I don't understand why Barro's hasn't reached that level-- it's not Uber technical anymore. They could have just adjusted my original bill for the coupon too--I would have given them a better review and keep a customer. I also wasn't impressed with the counter service. The associate that helped me was very out of it and it gave me the impression that she really didn't want to help me or even want me in the establishment. I also haven't been impressed with the food lately. The Garlic Parmesan wings I got were extremely salty and had no garlic flavor at all. My pizza was very salty and the sauce lost flavor somewhere along the way. So Barro's, this is my sayonara. If I need pizza, I'll go to Papa Johns. read more
