One of my favorite pizza restaurants in the Valley! Love the thin crust - cheese all the way to the edge!

Well when I able to order and have it delivered...food was EXCELLENT! But today 09/17/2023, I went online to order and found out they NO LONGER DELIVER. Not only was the food delicious, the staff here are all so friendly! Lindsey was so friendly and made me an amazing salad! It's refreshing to walk into an establishment where everyone is happy to work there! Kyle made my husband a phenomenal pizza, and walked it out with a huge smile! As for delivery pizza, this is as good as it gets in AZ. Forget all those big pizza chains. You can't get the flavor from them like you can from Barro's. I absolutely love the tomato sauce on their pizzas and the crust is doughy but not too soft nor too crispy. As for their salads and their salad bar in the restaurant portion, it leaves a lot to be desired. Iceberg lettuce? Seriously? At least throw me a bone and throw in some spinach or lettuce with a little color to it. The toppings for the salad are not the best either. If you stick to delivery with Barro's, you can't go wrong. read more

Online delivery order was fast and easy. My kids wanted spaghetti for dinner and hot wings. I didn't really like the spaghetti but my 4 year old liked it. The wings were good. I've also ordered their combo pizza which is always good. I like that I can order online and include the tip before hand. We will continue to order. read more

Walked in ordered Barro Special togo~ reasonably priced and tasted very good. Finished whole large Pizza by myself and did not get a heart burn. I get a heartburn whenever I eat bit much of low quality Pizza. I wish there was bit more of cheese but it was still good as it was. I would order it again. read more

Went here for lunch with a friend as it is close to the office. I believe this was their first business day. This is the spot where the Souper Salad, and a Gyros place used to be. Service was good, the cashier was being trained but we were not in a hurry and we were cool with that. That is how we learn, right? We had the pizza combo lunch special, my friend had 2 cheese pizza slices, and I had a pepperoni and a day special or something like that slice. FYI, there is a 50 cents charge for the day special pizza. Mhmm... I don't remember the ingredients, but it had like a lot of finely chopped vegetables... it was good. We also had mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce. Portions were very generous and the prices are reasonable. It was cool to be here on their first day, everyone was very excited. They stopped by our table like 5 times to make sure everything was OK, I asked if they had jalapeños an they brought some to our table. As we were getting seated, a patron was talking to one of the employees, he could be the manager, I guess. The patron said something like: I don't particularly care for pizza bread, but this one tastes really good. And I agree, the pizza crust was very tasty and I liked the texture too. can't answer the phone. got sent to hold 3 times in a row, even spaced out the calls over 10 minutes. wasn't till the 4th time someone actually answered and asked me to hold. after waiting 5 minutes i hung and decided i didn't want pizza anymore. read more

My favorite pizza and wings hands down. They never disappoint me and the wings are not small and skimpy.

I will start by saying I am a loyal Barro's fan and this will continue, as this is the best pizza ever, but something has got to be done about the temperature in there. It is literally STIFLING. I was talking to one of the counter workers and was informed that corporate controls the thermostat. They stated the kitchen was cold but nowhere else. Thank you for the cold kitchen but there are counter workers and patrons as well. Sometimes I don't want to eat at home, but it was very uncomfortable and I ended up leaving because of this. I hope for all hardworking counter staff, this changes. read more

Waiting for sandwich. Wasn't nothing special just a bunch of meat and some cold veggies when I ask for it to be hot but even the mushrooms were raw after I was hoping they'd be heated up. One thing you need to know about this place, there is no internet it is absolutely dead if you want to use your phone for anyting. Kind of a shame that they can't afford of Wi-Fi router. We LOVE Barros, but not this one. We've given this location four tries over the last year and a half. Twice in restaurant and twice delivery. After the third time we said not again, but we wanted delivery and this is the one we're in the delivery area for. Their crust has a weird texture and seems like it's previously frozen. Not the usual bubbly yummy crust you get at most Barros. It also isn't the same cheese. In addition, we waited 75 minutes for cold pizza (just like the other time we got delivery from here a while ago..) should have known better! If you grew up with Barros and love them like us, go to a different location because this will not be the same. read more

The customer service is god awful! I ordered the lunch special and realized that it would be a better deal to just get a large , also being that they didn't have 4 slices of pepperoni ready. The girl who helped us looked so disgusted by my change of order and went to get another person in the back to void out the first transaction. When this other person came , he didn't say a word and when I said I was sorry for changing it up, he didn't even look at me and said "why" corrected it and walked away. These people really look like they hate working here. Definitely will not be visiting this location again !!! Every time we Order from here (for delivery), the pizza ALWAYS arrives cold and the wings are never fully dressed in sauce. One driver smoked cigarettes with our pizza in the car, other two drivers just arrived very late and were very rude with service. The food is always bland and the wings are too dry. Again tried to give benefit of the doubt, but I'm always getting rude service. Don't know if it's a racial issue or if everyone hates there life there. Because of rude service the drivers never get tipped. Feel some attitudes should change, but I'll do my self a favor and go elsewhere. read more

My friend and I ordered a medium half Kona and half White Pizza and it was the perfect size (we both had 2 left over slices each)! It was a nice, lazy Wednesday afternoon and no one felt like cooking so we ordered delivery. First, the pizza got there at a reasonable time at about 30 minutes after placing the order over the phone. For the White Pizza, the crust was fluffy but crispy at the edges, ricotta warm and soft, and the ricotta cheese tasted like it was made in-house. It was sweet and melted in the mouth and had a little fresh, tart taste at the end. The Kona pizza was just as striking, with well cooked and tender, flavorful chicken and bbq sauce. The only complaint here is that fresh pineapples weren't used for the Kona, they were clearly canned and seemed a little skimpy considering how well made the rest of the pizza was. I would see the White Pizza was better in quality but all around, with a free delivery and steaming hot pizza delivered on site, it was a great choice for a meal. read more

New location is a huge upgrade! We go to this place when my wife is craving a pie plus it's close that's helps. The staff is always super friendly and nice and helpful. I enjoy their pepperoni pizza and wings combo although their wings are it makes up for it when they don't pour a whole bottle of buffalo sauce on them. Great place highly suggest. read more

I'll start by saying I love Barro's pizza. I've always loved it (Hawaiian is my favorite!) and I'd eat if every day if I could. But I can't. Why? Well besides the fact I'm trying to lower my carb and gluten intake and I'd probably gain 20 lbs if I ate it every day, this location is posted as a gun free zone. It is unfortunate that companies think it's smart to take away their customer's rights while in their establishment, stripping them of the ability to protect themselves from the law breakers that will ignore the sign anyway. So I notified the manager with a "No guns = no money" business card and have not returned. Take the sign down and I will eat there often as it's very close to my office. But until then, they will get none of my money. I gave it 3 stars, 5 stars for the food, 1 star for the fact that I can't enter the building to actually buy any of it. read more

They should be ashamed for the abomination they left at my door. Pizza ordered well done. It was dark, but the dough was still not cooked all the way. Same thing with mozzarella sticks. Very crispy on the outside but the inner layer of batter was a gross uncooked goo. When the batter a peeled off to salvage something, the cheese tasted freezer burned. It never fails! Barros pizza never disappoints. If I have one complaint it's the revolving door of employees. My husband and I are here quite often and always notices the new faces in staff with no trace of the old staff we came to enjoy. But I digress, the pizza is yum with three m's and the fountain drinks are very fizzy and good we love this place and we prefer this Barros over the other Barros closer to our home. read more

Well you know it is really funny that there is a Barro's Pizza very close to where I live and I have NEVER been to it. However this location is right across the street from where I work....so I decided to give it a try one day for lunch. I had the Mozzarella Sticks and a slice of Cheese pizza. The prices are not to bad I paid a 1.75 for the slice and 3.25 for the Mozzarella Sticks. The Pizza is good as long as you eat it while it's hot.....as for the Sticks well they were just okay.....Sonic has much better tasting Sticks. This is not a bad location at all for lunch and it is affordable....so I would recommend at least trying it once and see how you like it. My family and I ate dinner here on Sunday, September 11th. We ordered a large, one topping pizza, and 24 medium chicken wings that were advertised as one of their specials. In addition, we ordered a small salad and 5 fountain drinks. One of my daughter's ordered a small, gluten free pizza. The restaurant wasn't that busy for a Sunday evening. There was a football game on the t.v. featuring the Arizona Cardinals. We sat down at a large booth in the corner and waited patiently for our food to be brought out. Our pizza's arrived first. I inquired about the chicken wings was told those would be coming by the young lady that brought out our pizza's. After more than enough time had passed, our wings still had not arrived. My husband went up to the front and inquired about our chicken wings. He was told they were sorry that somehow things were mixed up and they would get them right out. Shortly one of the managers brought out $18 in cash and refunded some of the money I paid to eat. He apologized profusely and added our wings would be out soon. Not long after, our chicken wings arrived fresh and piping hot. I really like this location of Barros. The management here is outstanding, the food is always really good, the ingredients are fresh and the restaurant is clean. The employees are friendly and welcoming. We will return to this location. We ordered our pizzas and wings (and sodas) on the night of the Mayweather fight which I understood was a busy night. They told us it would be about an hour or an hour and a half. Ok fine with that. After 2 hours we called and were informed that our pizza had already been delivered! So manager calls and explains that the already paid for food was delivered to the wrong place and the driver didn't ask for ID or the card for proof so some random person got fully paid for food. The fact that we are all super hungry really escalated the anger but manager refunded us and told us the order would be delivered in 30 minutes. If you call in your order and pay with card, REQUEST that they ask for identification upon delivery!! Ridiculous. read more

Decided to order sandwiches for pick up on our way home. We called in our order and were told 15 minutes. By the time we arrived it had been our 15 minutes. We waited while customer after customer picked up their pizza and wing orders. A girl asked what we were waiting for and then went to the back to check on our order. We were told five more minutes. Then another girl asked then went to the back to check again. Finally we received our order (two Italian subs cold on white). Nothing special. We arrived home to two subs. No cheese. No dressing and tomato wedges off the salad bar for the sandwich tomatoes. It's not like we were not regular customers. We know what is supposed to be on the sandwich.
