So its a thing now, every time I come out to work with my salesguys we are going to have lunch at Barro's. I have a new sales guy and he joined us and I think he is on board too. Lunch is going to be at Barro's. We all had the 2 slice + a drink special and it was $22 for three lunches. Very reasonable and great food. The food is why we come. I had the sausage and the chicken supreme. The supreme has a $0.50 adder but still a great option. This is a good size Barro's and like most Barro's, it is clean and has clean bathrooms. Pizza night! Snagged two mini pizzas, a classic cheese and a BBQ chicken with mushrooms. But, this is the second time my extra requested toppings were forgotten. It's a small thing, but you PAY for what you want, and it's a bummer when you don't get it. We're always generous with our tips because we know how tough the hospitality industry is. When visiting my friend, they wanted to order pizza since it was a pool day. They had only ordered pepperoni pizza, so when they went to pick up I had to order a cheese pizza (mini) on the fly. It was quick to prepare with friendly service. Plenty of indoor seating that was comfortable while we waited, and loved the quality of the pizza as sometimes mini pizzas don't taste as good as their full-sized counterpart. One slice and a drink is now $5.18. The cheese slice was not greasy and the sauce seemed a bit sweet in a good way. The Pepsi zero sugar was broken, but got a diet Pepsi instead. Lots of blue class workers eat a cheap lunch here. read more

Door dash is destroying your business and turning away loyal customers. Both my husband and I have been eating Barros for at least 20 years. That fact you cannot order a side of hot wing sauce on door dash is ridiculous. Or ask for well done pizza or extra crispy wings. Why can I order it over the phone and pick it up, but cannot modify through door dash? These are reasonable requests that should be available if you're forcing people to use door dash. The customer service isn't even lacking, it's non existent. Whoever your "managers" are, like Tyler, should never ever work in customer service. All you get is a monotone and annoyed voice, and no effort to remedy situations. They like to blame every mistake on door dash and there is zero accountability. Also this isn't a review simply bashing door dash as I order take out with many businesses through there with no issues. This is a "Barro's, you are epically failing" review. read more

UPDATE: I received 2 emails apologizing for my dissatisfaction. Have received any other communication?No. Barros is not going to do a thing for me. I hope if you patronize the Beardsley location you are treated with respect. Obviously I wasn't. We didn't want to venture out tonight so we ordered pizza and wings. I placed my order online for pick up since they no longer offer delivery to my home (1/2 mile away) except through D Dash or similar. I arrived about 5 minutes before the time my order was promised. There is ample seating for small or larger group. There are 3 registers and the line moved quickly. My pizza's weren't brought out front yet, but she quickly retrieved them from the back. She then searched around for my wings that were sitting on the counter. I was very surprised they weren't in the warmer to retain the heat. No one wants to have cold food. I lifted the lid and realized they had been sitting on the counter for a bit. They were not even warm. I refused the wings asking for fresh ones. Assumably, the manager was at the next register assisting. I say this because he had on a polo shirt rather than the tshirt the rest of the employees were wearing. He was there during the entire interaction about cold wings. The employee waiting on me said she would have them remade for me. We sat down waiting for the new wings to cook. It was another 10 minutes waiting. She did put our pizzas in the warmer. I was happy we weren't going to go in circles over the pizza being cold too. When our wings were ready the manager was at the next register. He did not apologize or even acknowledge the fact that they tried to serve me cold food. Most cooks know how to time multiple dishes so they aren't under a lamp or on a counter waiting for the rest of the order to be cooked. It actually gets better. The pictures show what my pizza looked like. The meat lovers was sliced in many different sizes. The small pizza had the lightest layer of sauce like it was a special order light, and also the cheese stuck to the box because it sat in the warmer. I fed it to my dogs. If you want fresh pizza from here, dine in, order and wait for it, and ask for sauce. I need a new pizza joint. Any recommendations in the North Valley because no more Barro's for me. read more

We ordered: a salad 1 slice of pizza & 3 slice of pizza w/ drink. Asked for "mega meat" for the 1 slice. Was told they only had: cheese , pepperoni , or sausage. Ordered the sausage slice- got 4 pieces of sausage on the whole slice. Tip to middle was cheese pizza. Thanks for having those 4 pieces of meat on the slice, closest to the crust. Then for the 3 slices, was told: "only 2 of 3 slices were ready". Understood that we were there during "lunch time". So we were handed a number sign. Then went to sit a "clean" table. There wasn't one. Some tables had used plates left on the tables. So took the cleanest one, without any plates on it. Waited for the last slice (over 10 minutes). We we're almost done with our meal. So we had to finally go back to the register & ask of it. They admitted they forgot. Even with their number sign/plaque on the middle edge of the table, facing them. We did finally get that last slice. We realized how greasy things were. When the person eating the salad saw oily spots & his fingerprints on the the back of his black phone . I stopped by for some carbs and a quick cheap lunch. They have great pizza selections and daily specials. I waited about 10 minutes for a freashly baked sausage pizza. I had their Friday special BBQ chicken. It was lukewarm and on the salty side. Thumbs down! If you have to wait for another slice have them pull the pizza from the warmer when both slices are ready to be placed in the box. Im just not a fan of lukewarm pizza. The boneless wings were very overcooked and hard to even cut with a knife. We usually get ours from a different location, but door dash sent our order here. The salad, omg. The toppings looked fresh, but I turned it out into a salad bowl to mix and found slimy watery gooey lettuce. So gross! Hubby called the manager about it today, and was simply told to call door dash, that they couldn't do anything. Update on review: Ordered pizza & wings for delivery tonight. I was skeptical at first since my last experience wasn't good. The manager did reach out to me by telephone and email apologizing for the bad food I got. I always appreciate when a business as big as barros actually take the time and reading/addressing the reviews. Delivery took about an hour which was what they quoted me on the phone. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and honey hot wings. Everything was good. Wings were hot and tasted very fresh with a lot of meat. The honey hot flavor was very good as well. Sweet with a little kick. The pizza I wish had a little more sauce as there was almost done but it had tons of cheese and cooked perfect. Overall I was glad I gave them a second chance and food was hot and tasty.
