Struggle bus! The app wasn't working for ordering ahead, and when we were ready to order it said it would be ready in 45 minutes! When we got to the restaurant 7 minutes later, there was only 1 person in front of us so we were able to order quickly, but the rest of the process was slow. And the phone number either was not correct or no one ever answers it because we couldn't get through when we tried to call. They were all out of basil for the margherita pizza and asked us if that was ok as the pizza's were about to go into the oven. We asked for a discount but they said they couldn't give us one. As for the pizza, it was fine. The edges were burnt, and it definitely wasn't a Margherita pizza. It was a chunky tomato sauces, shredded mozzarella cheese pizza...we basically paid for an overpriced cheese pizza. Barros pizza is next door...should have gone there.

Not the very best pizza but okay to dine in occasionally. However, I have to give one extra star for the most courteous service we ever received in recent times. We were in this area for a movie and so decided to try this since our kid loves pizzas. Here is my take on different parameters: Food: The server made it overloaded with toppings. The pizza tastes good. However, definitely not our first choice for pizzas as we prefer many other good options that we are aware of. Ambiance: Plenty of seating & clean tables are what we see. Overall decent to dine in. Price: They don't have a size option but it was well made with a lot of toppings and for the price, it was worth it. Toppings were so much that my wife was hand-picking and giving them to me to eat even. Service: Courteous and very humble staff. She even offered a free kid drink to use on our table when she saw our kids fighting for our drinks. So nice of her. Overall take: They do have a nice fire taste in pizza but make sure you order the one as per your taste. We are frequent occasional visitors of Fired pie across different locations whenever we get bored of other pizzerias.

It had been awhile since I have been to this location. Used to go often, so surprised I never did a review. I love these fast pizza concepts. Thin crust is my jam most of the time! Love that you can pick one of their special pizzas or customize your own (salad too). I had been wanting to try the elote pizza and it did not disappoint. The pizza and drinks were spot on. Service was really lacking even though there were a ton of staff milling around. No one seemed interested in working. But that just seems to be the way it is now. Doesn't bother me much in a fast casual place, but still puts a damper on the experience.

Rotoli Qty 2 - Absolutely burnt and they even forgot the sauce. Much fail.

Well, the pizza was good. No complaints there. But the app? It's crazy that left the store like that. Didn't even put the sauce in, which I mean. Would have been useless as it was destined for the trash anyways. No excuse to send something that obviously burnt out.

I placed an online order today for a one topping pizza with no cheese. When I got back to work I noticed that they had put cheese on by mistake. I get it, accidents happen. I called the store to let them know what happened, and they told me "I didn't put no cheese in that pizza!" Well, the pictures don't lie. You can even see on the paper that there was NOT supposed to be cheese. Again, I get that mistakes happen and everything, but it's frustrating when the employee basically accused me of being wrong.

Custome build: pepperoni, spicy sausage, bell pepper, mozzarella cheese, black olive.

My two favorite dishes that never miss are the Lasagna and the Chicken Parm. Like clockwork, it has always been impeccable. Sadly my most recent experience will likely be my last experience. I ordered the Chicken Parm and when it came out there was something missing from my plate. Instead of the usual Rigatoni Pasta with Vodka Sauce there were a couple of stale chunks of potatoes and some sorry looking asparagus spears. I asked the bartender where is the pasta. She responded that it no longer comes with pasta and that I could order some at an additional charge. It was at that moment that I knew I would never return again. Never in my entire life have I ever ordered Chicken Parm at an Italian Restaurant and not have it come with pasta. That is like ordering a hamburger and it doesn't come with a bun. Then they tell you that you are more than welcome to order a bun at an additional cost. It was like the ultimate slap in the face. I understand that businesses are under financial pressure in these tough times. I can assure you though that this restaurant does not suffer from this fate. There is simply zero excuse for this type of behavior from ownership. Their meals are already priced near the top of the market here in Scottsdale, and rightfully so as their food is top tier. But to raise prices and then remove a staple item off of the menu is asinine. Again, I really do not like writing negative reviews for businesses because I am a fellow business owner as well. However the consumer in me cannot stand for this type of treachery. I am sick and tired of paying more and getting less. This is not meant to deter others from experiencing this place. It is meant to let management that loyal customers are dissatisfied with their business practices. Finally, I am not a cheapskate either. I always tip at least 30% which is way above the average. I am not tone-deaf, I sympathize with restaurant staff and wage gaps so every little bit helps in the service industry.

That misconception disappeared immediately upon stepping through the doorway. Warm, inviting ambiance, full of character. Attending the birthday celebration for an esteemed young man, our table wasn't ready (we were early) and the hostess offered us seats at the bar while awaiting our party. We each had a wine spritzer... may I say that the very few such concoctions I've had bearing that name didn't do justice to what we were served. I've never had anything like this, a "Sgroppino" (I'm partial to strawberry!) and it was perhaps the best adult beverage I've had in a very long time. Many different nuances in a glass. Stunning subtle, many diverse flavors. Mmm. Our bartender was an artist of the mixed adult beverage, a delightful individual with a warm, genuine smile and an encyclopedic knowledge of how to do his job expertly. Rare that you meet someone like this who isn't all measuring cups and shot glasses: everything he concocted was done by eye, and judging by what he made for us, his expertise was immediately apparent. Ben fatto. È andata benissimo, brava. When we'd all arrived, we were escorted to the "garden shed"... a smaller out-building filled with racks of wine, perhaps an ideal place for small wedding receptions or engagement parties. Well-cooled despite our broiling Phoenix evening. We had the garlic bread; someone ordered IL Tagliere, Calamari (no, thank you), and a basket of bread. You know how you go to a hamburger joint and what you're served looks nothing like the photos of their menu? Go to CiBO's web site and look at their menu: What you see in their photos is what you get. One visit and next time you look at their menu online, you'll salivate. Yes, the food is that good. I ordered the calzone. Delicious. Getting through it wasn't pretty... but it was excellent. Huge, very generous entree. Excellent flavors. Our server was delightful, attentive without being a nuisance. Our water glasses never reached empty, and the stories about the birthday boy (and others) were never interrupted. We never made it to desserts. Too much food and amusing stories. CiBO: È andata benissimo, brava.

An extra treat was that they have bottles of spicy oil on the tables, so I was able to enjoy the crusts by slathering them with the tasty oil as though they were breadsticks. On the way out, after mentioning to the bartender how good the oil was, I was gifted a couple of condiment cuplets to-go, which was a thoughtful and nice touch and sort of made up for the server who wasn't particularly warm or informative as I had to ask about the specials and whether or not all the pasta is freshly made, etc. Heck, if you have a great selling point like homemade pasta, talk it up and get us to drooling! There is a variety of seating available, including outside and at the bar--bar has an inside section as well as outside which is a nice design for the lovely weather days. However, it's unfortunate that the outdoor seating is on such a busy traffic corner, so it's not the little retreat it would otherwise be. The lunchtime music was more like happy hour music, not conducive to conversation--maybe for the cellphones-at-the -table crowd it's okay, but being near the Phoenix Art Museum and Arizona Opera, why not add to the cultural experience of the area by celebrating its Italian origins with some Italian music? Even if just added as interludes during every few pieces, it would enhance the ambiance. We had to raise our voices to carry on our conversation, but it was manageable. However, when I came back the next week with a friend with a hearing impairment, it became more problematic. She tried adjusting her hearing aids, but the thumping rhythm kept taking precedence as we tried to find a quieter corner, but it wasn't possible as it is a small space and speakers were close to each table. I felt so bad that she couldn't enjoy a meal there--we both were so looking forward to having a fresh pasta dish, but just couldn't stay. Upon leaving, I felt I should let management know why so I waited to speak to him, offering constructive criticism about the sound level but he was not the least apologetic nor said he would take it under advisement, but was completely dismissive and harrumphy as though we were annoying problems and not potential regulars with suggestions worthy of consideration. How hard would it be to have a quieter area or make a speaker accessible with volume control? People, whether on the spectrum, with hearing impairments, or just lovers of good conversation deserve respect and when it is not given, will go elsewhere....
