Tacos! L-R chicken tinga, asada (2), carnitas (2), shrimp

Super great option for my Mother's Day lunch. The restaurant is beautiful, casual and so lively - loved it. The taco menu had some great options and we opted to try a little bit of everything. The chips and guac were so good. I could never find a restaurant guac that didn't need seasoning, but this one was perfect. The tostadas on the side were warm and thin - so good. Like I said, we tried a little bit of everything, but our favorites were the asada, carnitas, and shrimp tacos. Our least favorite were the pork belly. The meat was tough and chewy unfortunately. The service was ok. Our server seemed to be having a not so great day, but the food and atmosphere made up for it. Love the vibe, love the food. We'll be back!

Amazing lunch at Bartaco! Guac was delicious, shrimp tacos, pork belly tacos, and ahi tuna tacos were fantastic. Great and attentive service from Larry- thank you!

Came here on a Monday for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by how lively it was! When I came in, I found a seat at the bar. The bartender was super friendly, the restaurant and bathroom were clean, and there was a live DJ in the corner (on a Monday!) putting out some dope tunes and vibes. I ordered by writing on the order card at my seat. Prices are pretty fair and the servers will tell you how much each dish will compare to the others, when it comes to satiety and feeling full. I ordered the Pork Belly with Crispy Rice bowl. Initially, I thought the flavor was kind of on the sweeter side. However, after adding some hot sauce to my dish, it all came together BEAUTIFULLY. Would highly recommend! Looking forward to coming back for some day drinking, good eats, and dope vibes!

A huge variety of taco options, including multiple vegetarian flavors. We ordered: - grapefruit and ginger aqua Fresca: this came served like a cocktail and was quite tart, which I liked because all agua Fresca in the past has been too sweet for me - esquites: corn kernels with spicy Mayo. I felt the kernels were way too al dente to enjoy without making my jaw hurt - pork belly taco: delicious sweet and savory glaze - duck taco: unique cumin pairing with the duck, but very tasty - falafel taco: tasted like classic falafel with taziki but nothing to write home about - pistachio cauliflower: unique pairing with herbs and pomegranates but the vegetables didn't taste fresh, and the hummus tasted like packaged Sabra - steak taco: good but not very spicy - adobo pineapple: NOT VEGETARIAN, contains beef. Spicier than expected - churros: comes with 4 and a vanilla and dark chocolate glaze. Yum! I wish they had fresh corn tortillas available, the flour tortilla added no flavor :( Logistics: - indoor seating only but the tables by garage windows can get a lot of air when they are open - limited street parking nearby -mocktail available

We visited Bartaco tonight & we're a family of four. Our servers were Sarah & Rachel who were absolutely OUTSTANDING!! They made our experience SO much more better. There weren't many vegetarian options, which I was and with someone with a tree nut allergy, that limited the options even more. All I really wanted was a bean & cheese taco with lettuce cheese tomato and onion, and these ladies DELIVERED!!! My husband & FIL filled their bellies with the pork belly tacos which they absolutely loved. I also ordered a spicy marg which was insanely delicious. All in all, this was one amazing dinner & would recommend to anyone looking at this review. Hope to be back one day!

Let me paint you a picture... We landed in Denver on a Tuesday, stopped in bartaco for lunch to visit our old friends and told stomping ground. That same Tuesday, we went for dinner with 6 friends and sat with Hannah and Thea at the bar! The next day, Wednesday, I not only got a to go for lunch, but went back for drinks the same night. THE NEXT DAY, haha, we went back in just to stop in and see Hannah, Thea and Sarah, before we headed back home, who are just THE BEST at what they do and provided excellent service. Needless to say, we got our bartaco food and drink fix; more times than I can count lol. The quality of food and drinks is still the same as I can remember all those years ago and the ambiance hasn't changed a bit. That dark wood and sexy vibe was perfect, even for dinner with friends lol. How nostalgic :) . Highly recommend for the best tacos and margaritas, IN DENVER.

My husband and I met some friends for dinner recently. We were early so we ordered margs. "Service" is basically just dropping off the food because you do everything through the QR code.. the marg was very acid/like heavy but the Paloma was better. I ordered a shrimp taco and the duck taco. The shrimp was spicy and not my favorite. The duck was amazing!! My husband got the same plus a chorizo taco and he said it was a little gross..

I love how easy this place is. No nonsense good food. Scan the QC code, order, eat & pay type of place. The margs are delicious I love that you get to watch them squeeze the limes as they make your cocktail - no nasty premade sour mix here! The food is consistently good & you know what you're going to get when you order. Delicious & easy whats not to love.

Came here for lunch on a Sunday at 12 and it was pretty empty but started getting busy at 12:30 and pretty full by the time we left. Service was outstanding and the vibes immaculate! My friend had the falafel and cauliflower tacos, and I had the slow roasted pork and sesame ribeye. We also each got a serving of the esquites. Everything was delicious and the service was attentive and helpful! We filled out their survey and they gave us some free taco tokens for next time! Yay!!! They have patio seating and open their windows for the indoor space on nice days, so we really enjoyed the vibes today.

Our drinks were the highlight! We had the limeade and grapefruit ginger agua fresca and they were both delicious; they freshly squeeze their juices in house. The lunch trays were a good deal, and pretty good! My favorite was the cauliflower taco. The chopped salad was great too. The falafel was very dry; it probably would have been better served with the tzatziki which I had removed. Might be nice to add a different sauce if it is dairy free. But very friendly service and a good meal overall!

Ugh, I hate QR code menus and even more so, using them to order my food. But whatever, it's the future. I did like that you could order a bunch of small plates and single tacos. Made it easy to sample a bit of everything. The ahi tuna and lobster salad were perfect options on a hot, summery day. My friends loved the cocktails, which looked so refreshing. Would recommend this spot if you are looking for casual, outdoor dining.

We came here because we had a giftcard and it was a great lunch spot. I loved the decor, I could have hung out at our booth for hours! However, we were in a hurry so it was really nice that service was fast and we were in and out within about 40 minutes. The tacos were pretty good but the atmosphere was what really stood out to me. Also, the guac and salsas were delicious!

It's absolutely authentic, but with an elevated menu that really delivers. We got the chip trio, but you almost wouldn't need it since they have a full salsa bar, including endless pico de gallo and sour cream. But the chips are thick and crunchy and delicious. I tried the taco de birria de chivo (goat) and was truly blown away. The meat is so tender and seasoned so well, you can taste the allspice in it, which is perfect for goat, and so unique to Mexican food. I also tried the al Pastor and the Carne Asada, both were also to die for. I love how they make the taco have a little bottom and give it three sides, to help us fit all the generous portion that they give. They also have several different Agua Fresca's, that you serve yourself and get unlimited refills, including Horchata. It's amazing. I've already come back another time since.

I started going when they were still operating out of their food truck, and honestly, watching them grow into a permanent restaurant feels like seeing your favorite underground band finally make it big... except instead of music, they're dropping cheesy taco masterpieces. The queso tacos are absolutely ridiculous in the best possible way: crispy, cheesy, messy, and worth ruining at least one shirt over. And the consome? That stuff could heal emotional damage. It's rich, comforting, and somehow makes you immediately want "just one more taco" even when you're already full. Every time I'm in Denver, this place is mandatory. Not optional. Not "if there's time." Mandatory. My vacation itinerary basically starts with flights and ends with tacos. So happy to see Kike's getting the recognition they deserve. If you haven't been yet, prepare to have your standards permanently ruined for all other tacos.

Walk in casually as you go about your day on a sunny afternoon and have a quick Mexican food along…read morewith a refreshing Mexican beer kind of place is how I summarize this place. This long skinny establishment - not necessarily super spacious - can offer you a decent food that you can count on. You don't need anybody to go with - you can be a solo diner because this place is not intimidating in any way. It's that casual. I think this establishment was born in the old Stoney's Cantina space. Whether the place was huge enough to create two businesses (and thus La Loteria occupied half of it), I sort of saw some "remnant" of Stoney's was the impression that I got. Whatever I am correct on this or not, this casual Mex place is all about vivid pastel colored interior where red is mostly dominant. Intriguing murals on walls 360 degrees are quite impressive. Once you are inside, a huge arrow to direct the people to order to their left at the ordering counter. That ordering counter extends all the way where you'll see some bar seatings. The right side of it mostly has tables for small to large groups of people. Like I said, this place is not huge but at the same time, people don't stay long to dine; the turnover is quite quick in a way. The restaurant also gets many walk-in to-go order placers as well. I got me the Aztec Bowl for to-go. This dish is only $11 (as of early May of 2025) and is a vegetarian item. I consume a lot of vegetarian diet and yet my instinct loudly spoke to me to add some protein to it. Whether or not you can keep it non-meat to stay in the vegetarian zone, adding some protein to this dish is a must as if it was by itself, it would be a bit boring because it only has some greens and some slices of avocado. As the add-on, I got me the carne asada ($5.00) that comes with rice. Not bad.. I didn't eat it right after I got home; I meant to get it to eat it the next day which I did (this AM.) It was still fresh where nothing tasted stale. The carne asada was well-cooked with seasonings. In other words, it wasn't salty at all but held good flavors. Now on the receipt, I saw a charge of what's called "takeout service fee" which is 18%. I kind of assumed that this was mostly the mandatory gratuity. At the end of the card transaction, I remember that the different gratuity percentages were listed on the machine and they were quite small because of this fee. It'll be up to you to add more if you wish. Some people might complaint about this mandated system and yet I kind of understand that businesses nowadays must survive by navigating through the rising cost of living. As we have seen our favorite businesses disappear in the recent years, I am here to support them by whatever I could within my power. Whereas the parking on Broadway is a pain in the neck at any time of the day, if I think of a casual Mexican dining in the Baker neighborhood next time, I may stop by here. It's a good establishment to know.

I mean seriously!! They care about their customers that get satisfied with their service and meals. And it does draw a very diverse crowd from the Hispanics to Caucasians to Asians, I mean you name it. They also get a lot of to-go orders. Some people came in, grabbed their food and went on their way for the night. My friend got the Torta Los Carboncito. This is a massive sandwich with plenty of meat inside. Since the menu has colored picofor almost each item, what caught my attention was the fish dish. There are two of them: one is trout and the other is something else (I forgot) but I got me the non-trout one. The lady asked me if I wanted the flour or corn tortillas so I went with the corn one. As soon as I got home, my late night snacking started. I only took several bites out of that whatever the huge fish. And oh my goodness, it was so delicious! Well-seasoned with very light salt. Although I mainly got it for tomorrow morning/lunch I had a hard time quit eating because of its deliciousness. Extremely welcoming staff (I even met the owner, Alex as he was dining with his family), quality food and value pricing, this place checks out for the hidden gem restaurant that's not necessarily super fancy but it's worth every penny and time. Yelping is so much fun. That is why I cannot quit my foodie-ness! What a nice discovery!

I grabbed a seat at the bar where the bartender was friendly and engaging. On a recent Wednesday at 7:15, the restaurant was packed. When I left around 8:30, it was still busy. That's usually the best review a restaurant can get. Loyal customers don't keep coming back out of habit. They come back because it feels like home. The all-day happy hour margarita for $9 certainly doesn't hurt. The second one arrives before you've had time to argue yourself out of it. I ordered the enchiladas with carne asada and their house mole. If you're expecting one of those intensely complex moles with enough ingredients to fill a pantry, this isn't that. Adelitas' version is comforting, approachable, and deeply homey. It tastes less like a culinary experiment and more like something your abuela has been making for decades. The carne asada was tender, the rice and beans were exactly what they should be, and every bite reminded me why comfort food never goes out of style. Before leaving, I made the smartest decision of the evening. Tres leches to go. I devoured it later at home while Netflix asked if I was still watching. The cake somehow manages to be light while completely satisfying. Don't skip it. Better yet, don't pretend you're saving it for tomorrow. Adelitas isn't trying to impress you. It's trying to feed you well, welcome you warmly, and send you home happier than when you arrived. Whether your abuela was Mexican...or Greek...you'll understand exactly what they're serving here.
