The only thing that rubbed us the wrong way happened right after we were seated. Chips and queso were brought to the table, and we naturally assumed they were complimentary, similar to chips or bread at many other restaurants. After we had already started eating them, our server came back and took them away because they weren't included. Our waitress was otherwise friendly and provided good service, but that initial interaction felt a little awkward. A quick heads-up when placing them on the table would have avoided the confusion entirely. Overall, the food, drinks, portions, and atmosphere were excellent, and that small misunderstanding wasn't enough to take away from an otherwise fantastic experience. There was just ample seasoning and flavor with the beef. Psst. If you're thinking x3 tacos vs x1 whole quesadilla, go with the quesadilla. You're sort of getting another piece since the quesadilla is cut into four quadrants versus just 3 tacos. Though it's a different form on presentation, you're going to be getting more for the same exact price.

I recently visited this taco spot here in Atlanta. The menu had tons of taco options to choose from, which was great because there was something for everyone. The pork belly tacos were a standout for me--full of flavor, juicy, and cooked to perfection! The taco flavors we tried included the Sesame Ribeye, glazed pork belly, spiced chicken verde, chile-lime shrimp, and Baja fish tacos. Additionally we ordered the esquites, and chicken tortilla soup as sides. For dessert we ordered the churros and tres leches. For dessert, the churros were hands-down the best choice! Crispy, warm, and coated in cinnamon sugar with two dipping sauces (chocolate & vanilla) that made them even better. My favorite of the two was vanilla sauce. On the other hand, the tres leches cake didn't quite hit the mark for me; it tasted like the milk had just been poured, versus it having been soaking in the cake for a while. The staff was super nice and welcoming, making the experience even better. I liked that they offered flexible ordering options, too. You could order right from your phone by scanning a QR code, or go with the traditional menu where you mark off what you want. Super convenient! The restaurant inside was nicely decorated and had multiple game options for customers to play. They had a indoor and outdoor seating option with a big bar in the middle as well. We've been coming to this location for years, and it never misses. The atmosphere is always amazing, with soft music that sets the vibe whether we're seated inside or out. While the summer heat can be intense, the patio heaters in the winter make outdoor dining cozy and comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly, personable, and always accommodating. And the FOOD, absolutely amazing! We always order the duck birria, guacamole, and the plantains with that special, delicious sauce. We're also big fans of the margaritas, they're super refreshing. What was originally supposed to be a 15-20 minute waiting period, ended up becoming 30 minutes. As such we opted for a to go order instead. We ordered a family pack and was told it would take 30-35 minutes. Nearly an hour later, the order finally arrives. We ordered a pomegranate lemonade, which came in a "pouch" instead of a cup, and was completely lukewarm by the time we received the order. I didn't ask for an IV, just a simple cup with ice. There are only about 4 or 5 tables. But, it's clean (spotless clean) and does the trick. I imagine if it's busy it can get quite full. Honestly... this style of food is pretty unique to the Metro. It's not quite a Philly Restaurant... it's not quite a traditional Chili Shop... It's more of what you'd see with a "loose meat" restaurant from the Midwest. But whatever you think it is, it works. And we'll be back!
