I work in DSHS across the street from this Pharmacy location. Always spent my lunch and break times, waiting long time in line to get prescription for my husband, who is after stroke. And it's not because they are busy, it's just unprofessional, not well trained staff issue. For example, today doctor's office sent then a fax at 9:00 am, I went there at 3:15 pm, I saw 7 people working there in pharmacy, but I still waited in line for 30 min, did not get my prescription, saying they are still working on it. This is ridicules, but this is the only convenient location for us. read more

Dr. John Prata was fantastic. We only waited a few minutes to see him and he walked us through everything that was going to happen when testing my child for Step Throat. I was reluctant having never been to a Bartell Care Clinic but was very pleased. It is nice to have the option of paying 50% less to see a doctor for minor concerns. read more

This is the only Bartell Drugs i shop at. I've been to all the ones here in Bellevue but this one is the closest to me! Its got its good qualities but i happen to have a pretty bad experience with the "Group health Clinic" here. First off, let me warn you how messed up the clinic here is. Everyone says the pharmacy is messed up here but so is the clinic. I was told my visit would be free since i was a group health member but the doctor lied to me. I was billed without my knowledge about a test result. I repeatedly said to her i cannot pay for anything to be done and she reassured me that what she was doing was free, that my test she did to me was free. Lies! I will never return to that clinic again. i was charged 253 dollars last year for a visit and a test result which came back to be false. The people there were incompetent and didn't seem to know what they were doing. I used their service a 2nd time to only find out they knew nothing about my problem and gave me false information and diagnoses. I went to see my regular doctor at my regular clinic and was told it was something else completely! So you've been warned! The location is in a good spot. Parking is easy to find and the store is on a corner with a pretty easy way of getting in and out. It also has its own drive thru pharmacy...tho i don't recommend using their pharmacy! The layout in the store is pretty simple and easy to navigate. Its kept very clean and its easy to find what you are looking for. They hardly change things around. The only problem with the layout is where the makeup is kept. I've seen young girls shoplift makeup all the time here, even a $99 straightener was missing right out of the package. I like the candy section however, its right in the middle, very open and its one of the best places to shop for halloween candy! Prices here are good, inexpensive but they do have more of a selection on items that can be moderate to pricy. But for the most part, its inexpensive and they do have sales often! Its like a mini store, better than walgreens, Especially walgreens vs bartell drug makeup, hair and skin sales! Customer service at checkout is friendly. Each time i go there, i am greeted with a friendly smile, a nice chat and im left smiling. They treat everyone, young and old with respect! I like that! Overall, i would of given this place a 4/5 but sadly with pharmacy and the clinic being so incompetent, i have to lower my rating! I will continue to shop here! read more

I'M A PHYSICIAN AND I ADVISE YOU TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I've been here 3 times in the past week. The first time I dealt with a guy who was completely incompetent and made me wait 45 minutes while the finished prescription was laying on the counter the entire time. He just missed it. I was told it was his first day on the job - well he obviously was not appropriately trained. I came here again tonight and they "didn't get" the message that my doctor left. While I waited for them to sort it out, I watched them tell 2 customers that they couldn't fill their prescriptions until the following day. No reason given. One lady was very upset because her husband was just discharged from the hospital and absolutely needed the meds. There's really no reason to come to this pharmacy - there's a RiteAid & a Walgreens within a few blocks. I stopped bringing my business to a different Bartells 3 years ago due to a problem, but decided to give this store a chance because I really want to support local businesses. But Bartells doesn't deserve your business or mine. read more

Have gone to this pharmacy twice this week for sick kids. The first time, they asked me to come back later. I came back a few hours later and they asked me to wait a few minutes while they ran insurance. I checked in an hour later and no progress was made so they told me to come back in a few hours AGAIN. third visit was finally able to get prescription. Today (different child) called first at 10:30am to confirm that they had everything they needed and was given a pick up time of 5pm. Arrived at 5:30 pm... NOT READY. Come back in an hour.... I am only giving a one star on this because I can't give any lower of a review. If I could give zero or even negative stars I would. The pharmacy here is the worst I've ever been to. After my experiences over the last six months, none of which have been good by the stretch of any imagination, I have switched to Fred Meyer, which is really sad as I've been a bartells customer for 14 years. They never bill the insurance and every time I go in there, which is three times per month every month, they tell me my insurance is expired, denied the payment request, or isn't on file. Went in here in the middle of the night for an antibiotic. Pharmacist asked my information, I gave it to him. He seemed to indicate that he couldn't find my prescription. I told him the doctor had called it in. Then he asked about my insurance info and I gave it to him. He told me it was "expired" and then wandered off and started talking on the phone to someone. (My insurance? Who knows? He didn't tell me whether I could expect him to come back at some point with my prescription, let alone what he was doing - just sort of stopped acknowledging my presence and meandered away.) Eventually I collapsed onto the floor while waiting for the pharmacist to finish whatever-it-was. (I've been sick with a 103F+ temp for almost a week, so I wasn't in tip-top shape.) No one noticed the loud thud, but several minutes later another employee came along, saw me, and offered to get me a chair. However, when I asked him if he could talk to the pharmacist and see what was going on, he dumped the chair next to me, said, "Oh, I'm sure he's working on it" and left post-haste. I was elated to finally pay for the drug myself out of pocket, even though I know my insurance does cover it, just to get out of there. I've had prescriptions filled here a couple of times before, and I can at least say that they've never given me the wrong drug. Other than that, though, I can't recommend them - today's experience was the worst I've had with them so far, but I've never had a *good* experience, just "less awful than this". read more

I am getting married in a week, and getting laid off from my job at the same time. Needless to say I would lose my head if it wasn't attached. I left my wallet at this store after shopping for travel supplies for my honeymoon. Of course I had no idea I had left my wallet here. I discovered that my wallet was missing the next day and was looking all over the place for it. Finally I called Bartell on the off chance I had left it there and I had! The manager was super helpful, the wallet had been locked in their safe, and cash and credit cards were intact. I was so surprised and so relieved. I never expected to find my wallet and was already trying to figure out how I was going to finish paying for the wedding if I had to cancel all my cards. Bartell is our local store. They are organized, clean locations and very helpful always. One thing distinguish them form their competitors is that they organized the items very well. While navigating on aisles you notice straight lines and detailed way of putting the items on shelves. This gives impression that customer does not overwhelm on finding an item. read more

Either the company is HORRIBLY managed, or they have a HORRIBLE night pharmacist. Kept picking up the phone & instantly slamming it down again. Was on hold for over 40 minutes before I finally gave up. When I had called previously at night with a question about drug interactions, the night pharmacist (I don't know if it was the same one or not) was totally unable to answer a simple question about drug interactions. This is what pharmacists go to school for. He was incompetent. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. read more

This is our usual pharmacy and in general we like it well enough to keep going but we've had some recurring problems that are not acceptable. Their prices for medications is higher than other places. They are chronically understaffed which makes for very long waits and poor service. And worse of all we have been given the wrong medication more than once. And we've had several problems with them failing to communicate with our physicians properly. read more

I am so impressed with this specific Bartell's. A few months ago, I needed to get a prescription for my husband who was discharged from the hospital after our normal Bartell's was closed. They had it ready for me in under an hour, no problems at all. Then today, I missed getting my prescription before my regular store closed (they close earlier on the weekend than the weekdays, and we just missed it.) I called this location on the off chance that they could get me one dose of my medicine, to hold me over until my regular location opened tomorrow-- not only are they filling the entire prescription for me, they called my regular pharmacy to cancel the one on hold for me! I have shopped at the Crossroads store for many years. However I have recently been disappointed in that one of my favorite clerks, Fatima is no longer there. I would hope that because she is Muslim is not the reason I have not seen her. I asked one of the other clerks why she isn't in the store and received a downcast look and "I don't know". If that is the reason she is no longer there I believe it is a bit like what "we" did to the Japanese in the 40's. Shameful. !
