I really enjoyed this pub! it was recommended for its spice bags, and was great for a large group of friends to hang out and catch up. there's lots of seating, including big booths, and it was easy to snag a reservation. service was also friendly and fast the portion sizes for its meals are huge and most things were a big hit. Our group also really enjoyed the irish sodas! would be happy to come back again.

Came here with a group of 8 people, had reservations and everything worked out nicely. The atmosphere is awesome, especially with the holiday decor. I enjoyed the Only Fans martini and fries happy meal for $15. We also order sliders, Parmesan garlic fries, and chicken tenders. Chicken is would pass on but everything else was good. The reason I had to take away a star was the service. The waitress was extremely dismissive. We had to ask to order and even when we did she would only let one order before turning her back and walking away. Would come back for drinks and apps, but the service staff was deterring for me. Accessibility: poor wheelchair accessibility. Bathrooms and aisles are very narrow.

Not every bar knows how to make a good espresso martini, but this place actually nails it!!! From the outside it looks like a pub, and honestly inside it still gives pub vibes, but the drinks are way better than you'd expect. I started with the OnlyFans martini. It's not too sweet, a little different, and I actually loved it. The espresso martini was surprisingly really good too. And they've got a little "speakeasy" upstairs IYKYK. I'd definitely come back for a girl dinner or brunch. Solid spot and worth coming back!

Went to Bartley Dunnes in NYC for brunch and tried the breakfast tots and the chimichurri steak and eggs. The food was okay -- not bad, but not the best either. The breakfast tots and the steak and eggs were decent, but the food alone probably wouldn't be the reason I'd come back. What really makes this place stand out is the atmosphere. Upstairs is super cute -- very pink, pretty, and girly. When I went it was a disco brunch and there was a singer performing who let guests request songs and even sing along, which made the whole experience really fun. The drinks were really, really good, and the service was great as well. Overall the vibe, atmosphere, and drinks are what make this place worth visiting. If you're looking for a fun brunch experience with good music and a great vibe, this is definitely a spot to check out.

Made a reservation for Friday around 7 but ended up sitting at the bar when I arrived super early. Good happy hour until 8pm. Dimly lit but still an inviting space. The bartender was friendly and attentive. My favorite drink was the red beret. So delicious and well balanced. Lots of seating and tvs available. I did get some food, the chicken roll. It was ok, I wouldn't get it again. Too much bread and not enough chicken. But their fries were delicious!

We came here for happy hour - the staff was great and provided great service. We wanted to experience happy hour on both floors (there's a speakeasy upstairs) and the bartender downstairs was kind enough to transfer our bill upstairs. We also wanted to try a happy hour drink we saw downstairs at the upstairs bar, but it wasn't on the menu. The bartender upstairs was kind enough to still make it for us. Now on to the happy hour experience - tasty drinks (we got the aperol spritz and the tequila mule), pretty good HH prices, and cute vibes. The upstairs bar + Photo Booth was so fun! Exactly what we were looking for on a Friday afternoon.

Bartley Dunnes is a great bar with a solid HH, at the very least on both Mondays and Tuesdays. My friend and I went on a Tuesday and obviously partook in their tacos- they were quite good & definitely a more than adequate amount of protein given. I ordered my classic go-to- a rum & coke (I know so basic) & I'll be honest I didn't exactly taste the rum in it. My friend & I also got the nachos to share which were great, a lot of cheese given can't complain about that :). The MLB game was also playing which was nice if you like sports for a lack of better terms haha. I'd go back for HH & in general.

I have to give a shout out to Archie. One of the best bartenders I have interacted with. He hails from Ireland and knows how to make a perfect drink every time. If you are looking for a good Guinness or a freshly made cocktail, this is the place for you. The ambiance here is amazing with good vibes that every old soul will enjoy (and anyone else with a good taste in music). This place is perfect for after work drinks or just a nice night to yourself. There is no such thing as a bad time here (unless you are bringing negativity in... good luck with that one). I love this place.

The food was good, we had brunch there and bottomless mimosas. The service wasn't great and they smoked us out from burning food in the back. They had to ops the front door to air it out. They also don't have salt and pepper shakers at the table.

Had a reservation booked for a table on a Friday night. Wasn't able to get into the speakeasy but the server was kind enough to let us check it out and take a peek upstairs. Service was a bit slow and we had to wave our waiter down but she was friendly and nice. This is the first time I've ever seen anywhere serve an Irish spicy box so we had to try! Definitely an interesting flavor and combination. The wings were dry rub and also had an interesting flavor too...dry jerk and spicy bbq? Not spicy at all and the jerk did not taste authentic. Drinks were a hit though and the espresso martini had a nice touch of chocolate powder over it. My 5 stars is for their Irish Spice Box alone - it's so flavorful and the added Irish Curry is chefs kiss. If that's not enough, they pour a good Guinness ($10). For the most part that's about all I've had here, but I've been on two or three occasions now. If the spice box (crispy chicken, peppers, onions, curry, fries, and aioli) was a little lower in price ($23), I'd be here a lot more often. The good thing is it's a decent size so you can split it into two meals. And if you're nice, they might give you some extra Irish Curry to take home - that stuff is gold. They have a pretty good sized menu but I can't say that I've tried anything else because once I find something I like, I get it over and over, especially when it's been a good amount of time since the last visit. Which reminds me, it's been a minute so I'm thinking I need to change that soon because I need another spice box.

Oh boy a lot. We had a reservation for 9 that grew to 11 which was kind of accommodated but definitely not at a table that could seat 11. We were tight, squished and had to pull our own extra chairs to accommodate. Our service was extremely slow. We basically were only able to order 1 round of drinks and appetizers before being cut off and pushed out because there was another reservation at a certain time and we were told we had to be out. We weren't even able to order entrees and they told us NO. We had our time limit to be out anyway bc we had a show booked but to be told we couldn't order dinner entrees 45 minutes before we actually had to leave was so ridiculous. What if we wanted to be here ALL NIGHT order food & drinks for 11 people...apparently they did not want that bc they said we had a time limit before the next reservation. I'm a GM in the restaurant industry and I was appalled at this lack of service. Turn & Burn does not = $$$. This is not even a 5-star Michelin restaurant it's a Pub Bar at best. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

Great spot in midtown Manhattan for a casual drinks and dinner if you're going with friends or on a date. They open late so you can always go to the bar if you want to grab another drink and extend your night. I went on a Friday night and they had a DJ as well. The servers were great and kept checking up on consistently even through we were in the back and there weren't many people occupying tables in the back. The food was good too and I recommend the bao buns! They also had HH mon-fri until 8p. read more

Was excited to go to a bar our first night in NY. We wanted to celebrate the life of a friend's son who passed away. His favorite shot was an Irish car bomb so I asked to have one to take and send a pic to my dear friends. He abruptly chastised me and said that's an insult to ask for. It made me cry and I let him know why and nothing. No sympathy or caring. One and done and will never go back. What happened to decency and treating customers with kindness. No empathy anymore. :( read more

Came here on a Friday night recently with 20 of my friends to celebrate my 40th birthday. I got in touch with the bar's event coordinator in advance to make sure we had a space for all of us. We didn't have a minimum to meet, and the coordinator was super responsive to make sure we had everything we wanted. The vibe was incredible. Disco hits all night long and we stayed until nearly closing. Some of our friends ordered food and enjoyed it, though I can't personally speak for any of it, except the slice of decadent cheesecake they presented to me with a birthday candle. Truly felt like I got stellar class treatment for our group! The bartenders loved us, and we loved them! Def coming back next time we visit NYC. Such a fun place! read more

My friends and I went here for girl dinner. It was so cute and lovely. There were a lot of reservations so we had the table for about two hours and then they asked us to move to the bar. The food was really good. My favorites were the whipped feta and the fried olives. In total, it came out to about $80 per person, which included all of the food, drinks, and tip. I think that's a great price for bottomless drinks and dinner, especially in Midtown. I would definitely return. We had a great time. read more

My favorite pub in Manhattan!!! I stumbled across this gem on a visit to NY last September. The glow of the neon sign outside beckoned me in (my late father's name was Bartley and that was my initial reason to stop in) and I was not disappointed. Andy was so friendly and helped us when we couldn't decide what to order- the disco tater tots were amazing thanks Andy! After a few pints of Guinness we left with full bellies and big smiles, and I was already looking forward to my next trip back there. Big shout out to Archie who gifted me with a Bartley's pint glass in honor of my Dad, I was so touched by his friendliness and generosity. Honestly I love this place. I wish it was my local but unfortunately I'm a 4 hour drive. Oh and did I mention they know how to pour a pint of Guinness? PERFECT. Bartley's, I miss you - I'll be back to visit soon!!! read more

Bartley's was an unexpected surprise. I was hungry after touring the city and it was right down the street from the hotel. I figured it had decent review so, I went in. I had the BD Burger and fries with a coke. Ok, it wasn't the extravagant of a choice but damn it was perfect! Along with the burger the staff are awesome the horses and my waitress but very pleasant. I'd highly recommend Bartleys for the food, staff and atmosphere. read more

This is probably one of Midtown's best new options for elevated pub fair and cocktails. They have so many delicious light bites such as the chicken lemon grass dumplings and bang bang shrimp-- perfect for happy hour. I was blown away by the Buffalo chicken sliders and disco tots! What a great place! I had saved this as a place to check out while we were here visiting from the Bay Area. Apparently they just opened a few months ago. This is not just a well stocked bar, the food is awesome! We were told the kitchen has a small staff but on a Thursday night they were cranking out the food! It is truly a great restaurant that happens to have a bar :) Everything we ordered was yummy and was pleasantly presented. The staff... from the moment we walked in the hostess welcomed us with a smile to the servers we had, our experience was stellar. Established in 2023.

Taking inspiration from the iconic Dublin establishment of the same name, Bartley's is celebrating the spirit of its namesake with art, music, cocktails, and of course, delicious food. The bi-level bar is complete with a sleek bordello-style decor features local artwork from artists around Ireland, and boasts a cocktail program crafted by celebrated mixologist Conor Meyers. With funky house and disco beats, patrons will enjoy signature cocktail creations and twists on small plates. The inspiration for Bartley's came from a popular bar in Ireland that the owners used to frequent. Paying homage to the iconic establishment, they met with the original owner's daughter at a bar they own in Dublin, who handed them a framed photo right off the wall of the original establishment. As the first-ever to welcome bohemian artists, musicians, and the LGTBQ community in traditional Ireland, Bartley's continues to challenge boundaries and offer unique experiences.

Thinking of this dude literally makes my skin crawl. I'm not one to write reviews often, but he shouldn't get away with that behavior. Aren't bars supposed to exude good vibes and provide hospitality? My experience here was not only traumatic, but a total waste of money too.

So, as out-of-town visitors staying in New Jersey, we spent nearly $100 on an Uber and several hours of our day returning to retrieve it. When we arrived, the bag had mysteriously vanished. What followed was one of the most ridiculous customer service experiences I've ever had. We were met by a group of very young, completely unprepared hostesses who seemed utterly clueless about the situation. Nobody knew where the bag was. Nobody knew who had logged it. Nobody knew who we spoke to on the phone. Nobody appeared interested in finding answers. I repeatedly asked for a manager and got nowhere. It felt like nobody in the building had the authority, training, or desire to solve a problem that their own staff created. Let's review: Your employee tells us the bag is there. We spend nearly $100 on transportation to come get it. We arrive. The bag is gone. And the response is essentially a collection of blank stares and shoulder shrugs. No urgency. No accountability. No explanation. No solution. I've never seen a business so casually waste a customer's time and money. We left feeling completely dismissed and frankly wondering whether anyone at Fraunces Tavern has any idea what customer service is supposed to look like. Hundreds of dollars spent at the establishment. Nearly $100 spent returning because we trusted what we were told. And in the end, absolutely nothing except aggravation, frustration, and a complete loss of confidence in this business. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.

I visited Bartley Dunnes with two friends for brunch. The bartender was excellent, and the drinks were amazing--easily the highlight of our visit. The ambiance was cozy, making it a pleasant place to start our day. However, things took a turn when we moved to a table. Our waitress, Leah, was quite aggressive in pushing to complete the transaction. Unfortunately, this resulted in an error where she walked away with a $75 tip on a $200 bill. We didn't realize this mistake until after we had left. Lesson learned--if you go here, beware of the aggressive tactics some servers might use. So we were looking for a place to have dinner and we were staying at the midtown Hilton and hopped next door to Bartley dunes and although it was a bar we thought we would check it out. So my wife ordered the salmon and I ordered the chicken and both of our meals were simply delicious. It's certainly exceeded our expectations and the service was very nice and wonderful. Was recommended this place by a friend who said they had recently opened. The atmosphere is like nothing in New York City. The upstairs has such a unique vibe. We got the pesto flatbread and the smashburger and it tasted amazing. One of the best pints of Guinness in NYC and the cocktails were outstanding. I recommend the Salt Bae Cafe and the Only Fans. Just visited Bartleys after the renovations, and I had an amazing night. They have a significant amount of signature cocktails to choose from, they all looked delightful.
