the customer service was horrible. this place is not inclusive and you can tell they did not cater to me the same way they did to the customer in front of me. very inconsistent abs the employee is Latino same as me. Spoke to him in Spanish and he couldn't "understand" spoke to him in English and he was still rude and dismissive. Very sad working in San Anselmo does not make you white sir and didn't even bother to cut the bagel or cared too

Bagels are so good. Service is lovely. Building is absolutely mold ridden and the poor staff should not be subjected to working in it.

Went here Saturday Morning (Nov 1st). Decently fast service. Front counter spoke both English and Spanish which is a plus for the area we are in. We got the lox and breakfast bagels, they were decent. The inside could be cleaner.

Had some extra time before work so I stopped in to grab a breakfast sandwich. I got an Asiago bagel with eggs turkey and cheese. It was only 7$. It really did hit the spot super fast and easy service. They can be crowded sometimes but today I beat the rush

This joint is really good. I honestly try my best not to come here so often in order to keep the weight off, lol but it's hard!

In town for a few days and needed a quick morning breakfast, this hit the spot! I would recommend double toasted bagels but we tried the onion bagel, salt bagel and cinnamon sugar bagel. Well worth the stop!

Everything toasted with Olive Cream Cheese and Cucumbers. Drink from next door.

Pretty good bagels coupled with pretty good service. Neither was the best I've ever had, but I have no complaints about my experience here.

So rude. Bagels are fine, only one around but wish there was a better option with better ambience and better service

Really the only authentic bagel you can get in Marin. Reasonably priced and an institution of san Anselmo. Great place

Super large variety to choose from my favorites being the onion and jalapeño.

Having visited New Orleans earlier this year, I was so excited to try this place! As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was transported back to NOLA! There were beads hanging and Mardi Gras decorations throughout the restaurant. Since it was a weekday, there was no wait and we had our choice of sitting inside or out. We opted for inside. Our server was warm and friendly, bringing us water promptly. We started off with an order of beignets. It arrived with three big pieces. They were freshly fried and doused in powdered sugar. So good! My daughter ordered the chicken and waffles, while I decided to try the everything gumbo. The chicken and waffles was huge! It came with several pieces of fried chicken that was topped with freshly minced garlic and came with a homemade spicy sauce. My daughter loved it! I tried a bite and thought it was tasty as well. She ended up taking half of it home. The everything gumbo was also delicious! It was a little thin in my opinion, but the flavor was amazing! It was truly authentic and I could taste all the seafood that was in it. I finished my entire bowl! Unlike the chicken and waffle, it was appropriately sized. When I went to pay the bill, there was a sign that said "free beignets if you pay cash." So of course, I paid our bill in cash! Luckily, I had enough cash on me. Can't pass up a deal like that! All in all, it was a very enjoyable meal! If I'm ever in the area, I'd definitely go back to The Hummingbird!

But at the Hummingbird, their very good po'boy comes with two. It's a great sandwich. I didn't love the gumbo as much. It was a little thin and kind of sweet. Not bad but not really to my taste I suppose. But I'll def go back for that sandwich.
