Excellent food and ambiance! I like how the skewers are pre-cooked which saves a lot of time compared to cooking them yourself. The soups are refillable (broth) which is awesome! I like ordering one for the table to accompany all the meat skewers. You can also add ingredients to the soup to make them go further.

We ordered lamb and beef skewers, golden pot soup, and grilled scallo w vermicelli. No complaints. The skewers were adequately seasoned and tender. Scallops were properly cooked. The sweet and sour flavor of the golden pot was a great comfort food and complement to the skewers. No issues with service. Reasonably priced. They put extra effort into a regal traditional ambience.

Home of the tastiest Chinese BBQ skewers I've ever had! My go-to order never changes: Squid Legs, Marbled Beef, Pork Belly, and King Oyster Mushroom - all packed with seasoning! The Cucumber Salad is refreshing and balances out the meat-heavy lineup. The Roasted Fat Beef & Eggplant is unctuous and savory. We like the Golden Pot too for its bright and tangy broth. It even comes with free unlimited broth refills. The only downside? I wish they'd bring back the Durian Pizza! One thing that sets this place apart is the ordering system. If you're not big on interacting with staff, you'll appreciate the tablet - just tap what you want and it goes straight to the kitchen. Need anything else? There's a call button at the table. The service isn't really warm or chatty, but it's efficient and gets the job done. I'm always impressed by the interior's rustic charm. The ornate and festive decor looks warm and inviting, making this spot perfect for sharing plates, hanging out, and lingering conversations. Bonus: there's even karaoke for anyone ready to sing their heart out! The crowd loves to hoot and holler for those brave souls, no matter how in or out of tune they are. It's just fun vibes and solid food here :)

Came here on a Saturday afternoon right when they opened. == FOOD == We got some pork belly skewers, boneless beef skewers, a potato skewer, garlic enoki mushrooms, 2 chicken wing skewers, 1 lamb skewer, and 2 beers (BOGO event). Food was very good, the pork belly was pretty filling, and the garlic enoki mushrooms were sooo delicious. Everything was seasoned very well. == SERVICE == You order on an ipad and the workers bring out the food for you. It's kept warm on a heated plate while you eat the other skewers. == AMBIANCE == It feels like you're transported to China when you step inside Little Skewer. The decoration inside is beautiful. It seems that at night, there are also singers or performances since there is a mic at the corner of the room.

BUS . I tried this restaurant up in NorCal in Fremont and was excited to see they had locations in SoCal! This place Isnt your tradition skewer place in the sense that you don't grill it, but everything is already cooked for you. All the skewers are so yummy and they all taste very different. I'd HIGHLY recommend getting the chicken skin, squid legs, and beef belly. Those are definitely the highlights. Service was fast and helpful, and I enjoyed that there was a drawer built in the table with extra napkins and utensils. The decor is quite stunning and very cute! Although I didn't drink, this place seems to be a popular spot to drink with friends as they sell large amounts of shots for a reasonable price. Overall very good and I'd definitely come back!

This place is so cool. There was a little waiting but inside was packed, obviously it was a Friday evening. I went there at before 7pm, trying to avoid the crowd. When we got in there's olden decorations with pictures and seats and chairs in wood. Cool vibes right? The food was mostly towards the spicy side, I had to keep drinking iced water lol. We ordered a mixed of beef, lamb, octopus and shrimp skewers and chicken wings, all came in with mild to medium spiciness , including the cucumber salad. We also ordered steamed scallops and oyster and cheesy corn. These were not spicy, luckily For those spicy enthusiasts you should come n check it out ~! We enjoyed it with our Soju and hot tea. We also ordered dessert but forgot what it was but tasted delicious. We came out with full stomach ~~ yummy for your tummy

Pro tip: make a reservation. The wait can get long. We didn't know and ended up waiting about an hour and a half for a table of three. Service was just okay--not particularly friendly or attentive, but nothing terrible either. They got the job done. The food is where this place shines. The skewers were really tasty, and I liked that you could choose your spice level. Everything comes out piping hot, so be careful, but it tasted fresh and well-prepared. The space is cozy and has a more intimate vibe, which I liked. Overall, I'd come back--just with a reservation next time.

I've heard good things about this place and it does live up the the hype. it got busy on a random weekday but there's a waitlist. Food was so good ! and service was quick like they're use to turning over tables. And the food was reasonably priced. Great place to go grab a drink or eat soup on a cold day

Great food with super good atmosphere and fast service. You order on an ipad and the staff take care of the rest. I got the osmanthus wine this time and it was perfect with the food. And the tornado potato is the absolute best

Went to the one in Hacienda Heights, loved it so much and was glad to have found a sister restaurant in Diamond Bar. This review is for the one in Diamond Bar. Wow, this one is much better looking than the one in Hacienda Heights. Feels like you walk into a Chinese restaurant you see from Kung Fu movies. The decor is breath taking. Loved the decors. You order the foods from their iPad tablet. Ordering is very simple, see what you like, just add to your order. Suggestion, do not order everything at once, order a few items, submit it. They will bring them out shortly. Once you are about done with the current foods, order more items, this way, your foods come out fresh and hot. If you order everything at once, the foods will sit there and gets cold. The warmer thing doesn't keep the food hot. I like my water cold. The water from the kettle is not cold at all. Ask them to add ice if you prefer your water cold. We ordered the followings: - Tornado Potato (so good, one of our favorites here) - Butter Pancake (it was ok, kinda bland) - Grilled Egg Crepe (didn't like it so much) - Steaky Lamb (very good) - Premium Marbled Beef Skewers (oh, so tasty and yummy, another favorite) - Beef Aorta (was interesting, didn't know it was artery, not bad though) - Lamb Skewers (this was really good, it came with 20 skewers) Oh, forgot to mention, when we were there, we saw they had a Karaoke area. That was interesting. Not sure if you just go up and start singing or you have to order it from the iPad tablet. Not sure if it's a daily thing, or only on Friday, or on weekends. Will definitely be back to try different skewers. PS. Besides the skewers, they also have hot pots and lots of alcohols.

This restaurant has an amazing Chinese-themed atmosphere that makes the whole dining experience feel unique and authentic. The food was absolutely incredible! We tried a wide variety of dishes, and every single one was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Everything exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to Adam, who made our evening even more memorable. He entertained us, sang for us, and created such a fun and welcoming atmosphere. His energy and hospitality truly made the experience unforgettable. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food and a fantastic dining experience!

Many seats for waiting. Uses chowbus and text for waiting list. Waiting times could be up to an hour from our experience. Skewers were good and had enough seasoning and pairs perfectly with a couple of drinks. Love how this can be a dinner spot after work to chill and hang with friends. They also have live music occasionally and/or music playing from the small stage they have. Noticed they have small private rooms for groups bigger than 4 near the entrance as well.

Service was mid but the skewers were tasty and a pretty good deal for the price. They are called Little Skewers for a reason and now I really understand why. They also had way more side dishes than actual meat options, which is great if that is what you want, but I really wish they had more options for skewers!

We've been exploring our new neighborhood recently and stumbled upon this hidden gem a few minutes…read moreaway from us. We were craving siomai and Peking duck for dinner. Fortunately, they serve both. We both love siomai, duck, and crispy salted squid so we ordered the trio. The siomai was fresh. Tasted as if it was just off a lunch cart. It's delicious and the serving size is quite generous. The price is unbeatable too. We really enjoyed its balanced taste. Sometimes, siomai can be a bit bland but this was packed with flavor. The Peking Duck was great too. Reminded us of our time in Hong Kong. Less oily but still delicious. The buns were great too. We both enjoyed every bite. The sauce was excellent too. It had sweetness to it from the pineapple sauce. The salted crispy squid is balanced. Salty yet a bit sweet. It's definitely more of the indulgent side of things. Best paired with rice. We skip the carbs that night, but we'll definitely order this again paired with something else. The service here is great. Everyone is welcoming and helpful. It doesn't feel like rushed service. Ambiance here feels like your typical Chinese restaurant. It's clean and you can tell it has aged over time. You're here for the good food though, not the aesthetics. This will definitely be our local go to. We genuinely enjoyed the food and can't wait to explore more of the menu during our next visit.

It does also have your traditional dim sum cart that come by your table to serve your popular dim sum dishes like Har Gaw (rice-skin dumpling with shrimp), etc. For items that are not in the push cart, you can order these directly with the waiter. For two people, we ordered steamed chicken feet, shu mai, shrimp rice rolls, ham sui gok (deep fried meat dumplings, and creamy egg yolk buns. Food wise, taste as expected and portion is plenty for two people. It's good enough if you are craving for dim sum locally, and don't have to travel all the way to SGV. Service wise, make sure when you wave down your server to order all your dishes, or it may take him/her a while to come back around. Pricing wise, great value considering the local area. Worth checking it out when in the area. Come and support our local businesses!

All of the items I've tried so far are great but I really enjoy dan dan noodles and the one here is amazing! It has a really nice, addicting heat to it. Another favorite are the beef rolls. It wasn't dry and there was a right amount of spread. The millet porridge surprised me (I'm used to white rice congee) - it was $1.99 and so comforting and cozy. It would probably be amazing to have when you're feeling under the weather. Also, when you order takeout, they line the container with foil for some items; it's a nice "not cheaping" out detail. In the age of trendy tiktok spots and consumerist gimmicks, it's refreshing to eat at a local mom and pop shop. Flavor Noodle House is run by an older couple, the kind woman is the server and her husband is the cook. (Note that she is currently recovering from an injury so please give grace and have patience when eating in.) I remember the first time I came here, I was moved by how nice service was. The best comment I got was being asked if I'm from Taiwan not because of my 'accent' but because Taiwanese people always order green onion pancake. I.. didn't need much convincing at that point to break my vegetarian diet. And boy, it was worth it. These beef rolls were the bees knees. The pancakes are homemade, generous marinated beef, just like what I grew up with down to the cilantro and scallion. I'm good for the next couple of years or until the next time I decide to donate blood and a chocolate chip cookie just won't cut it. Fried rice was perfect. If you're a fan of peas or green beans, you'd love the egg fried rice! Beef/beef tendon noodle soup was from what I heard and gather from the single half floating noodle left after too busy to talk by the end of the meal, delicious. The broth is made proper without cheats. Noshtalgia- satisfied. Very mom and pop shop right next to the long standing El Pollo Loco. I've heard their lamb noodle soup is also a headliner.

My partner, whose favorite dish is and has always been spicy beef noodles, after one bite officially crowned their Spicy Beef Noodle as his new favorite, dethroning Noodle Street after a 3-year reign. This is where Duck Palace really earns its name. The skin hits that ideal balance--lightly crisp with a slight lacquered sheen--while the meat underneath stays juicy and flavorful without being overly fatty. It's not trying to be trendy or reinvent anything; it's just done right. The seasoning leans traditional Cantonese--savory, slightly sweet, and aromatic without being heavy-handed. I did not try the supporting dishes, but they had a good variety outside the roast duck. This is where you can tell whether a place is a one-hit wonder or a true kitchen. They had BBQ combo plates, stir-fried dishes, and various sides. Service here is efficient, is part of the charm. You're coming for good food, done well. Best to call in to reserve a duck ahead of time because they will sell out by mid-afternoon. The space itself is clean and straightforward--more casual than upscale--but comfortable enough for both quick meals and relaxed family meals. What I appreciate most about Duck Palace is the consistency. The price is reasonable for what you are paying for and the duck combo meal is enough to feed 2-3 people. Pro tips: - Go earlier in the day if you want the freshest roast selections. - Takeout holds up surprisingly well (the duck skin still has some integrity if you don't let it sit too long). - Great option when you want authentic flavors without driving deeper into the valley. - Discount for paying in cash Bottom line: If you're in Diamond Bar and craving authentic Cantonese roast meats, Duck Palace is a reliable go-to. It may not be flashy, but it delivers where it counts--and sometimes, that's exactly what you want.

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. Do not waste your time or money here…read more The moment we walked into Fu's Restaurant, it felt like stepping into a sauna. It was 79 degrees inside, muggy, humid, and completely uncomfortable. We almost turned around and left immediately. The place was practically empty, which honestly should have been our first red flag. We decided to give them a chance anyway. Big mistake. My colleague and I were offered water or hot tea. We both ordered hot tea. The menu clearly says in English that hot tea is $2.99. Nowhere does it clearly explain in English that you will be charged differently depending on how many people drink it. When the bill came, we were charged $5 each. Apparently, there is some clarification written in Chinese, but how are customers who do not read Chinese supposed to know that? That is completely misleading. The tea portions were not larger, not special, nothing different. Just basic tea. The pricing felt deceptive. We also ordered popcorn chicken and chili wonton soup. Both came out in tiny portions that looked like appetizers, yet the menu does not clearly label them as such. For what we received, paying over $30 total felt ridiculous. The food itself was mediocre at best. Nothing memorable and definitely not worth the price. Because of the uncomfortable temperature, confusing pricing, small portions, and average food, we chose not to leave a tip. As we were walking out, the waiter chased us outside and pressured us about the zero tip. That is completely inappropriate. Tipping is not mandatory. It is earned. Confronting customers outside over a tip is unprofessional and embarrassing. Between the heat, the questionable menu pricing, the small portions, and being confronted outside, this was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in a long time. We will never be back. I also really appreciated the balanced portion control; it felt like just the right amount of food without being overwhelming.
