I am a big fan of lamb, so was ecstatic when I saw that each order of lamb skewers came with 20. They're not large pieces of meat, but got the job done being decently moist with a nice layer of cumin and spicy seasoning. For skewers, we also ordered the squid, beef, and potato skewers which were all very tasty. Not alot of char but the meats were fairly tender. The golden pot was a pretty surprising hit at our table. The gold almost florescent broth has an interesting sour kick, almost like pickled veggies. Soup was a nice contrast to the meaty skewers and came with a variety of hot pot favorites like fish cake, imitation crab, napa cabbage, wood ear mushroom, vermicelli, and thinly sliced meat. Also when they see that you are running low on broth, they will pour some more in. This was especially helpful because they serve this over a fire which can evaporate alot of the soup. We ordered our food through the tablet which was quick and convenient. POPCORN CHICKEN ($13.99) - this was pricier than I'm used to but the portion size was also bigger. It was crispy and I couldn't tell if there was spice or not or if it was just lingering from the other dishes. 4/5 KUNG FU CORN ($7.59) - this was slightly spicy but it was not crunchy like I'd normally expect. You order the foods from their iPad tablet. Ordering is very simple, see what you like, just add to your order. Suggestion, do not order everything at once, order a few items, submit it. They will bring them out shortly. Once you are about done with the current foods, order more items, this way, your foods come out fresh and hot. If you order everything at once, the foods will sit there and gets cold. The warmer thing doesn't keep the food hot. I like my water cold. The water from the kettle is not cold at all. Ask them to add ice if you prefer your water cold. While the waiting area wasn't very big, we were thankful the wait wasn't very long. It looks like they have a small area to host parties as well. When we entered, it felt like a quaint tavern. I loved the ambiance. At each table, there's an ipad to place your order. The food comes relatively quick and thankfully there are photos for each dish (if you're like me, I love photos and hate reading captions to figure out what's enticing to eat :P.. haha). The ordering process on iPad was hassle free and convenient. They grill skewers in the back so no smokes which is great.
