Came here for dinner with my fiancé and his dad and when we first pulled into the parking lot we were like "OMG is this fine dining??" Because of how nice it looked from outside and inside! Parking was easy but I can see it being difficult if you come during peak hours. Inside was beautifully decorated and clean! We put our name down and waited on the seats they had outside. Very conveniently they placed QR codes to their menu so you can start looking at what you want! My family and I are vegetarian but my future father-in-law does not eat onion and garlic for religious reasons. This makes things hard because majority of places rely on onion and garlic for the aromatics! But we saw that Basil & Co was able to accommodate this for us! It makes me so happy! The staff here is so nice and patience and made sure to double check our orders so it wasn't conflicting with our diet! I got the Tom Yum noodle soup (with rice noodle!) my fiancé got their pineapple fried rice with fried tofu, and my future father-in-law got their pad see ew. We were able to share amongst all of us and my goodness, the portions are HUGE. We were so full and stuffed! I really enjoyed the Tom Yum noodle soup! I got it medium spicy (my group cannot handle it too spicy) and it was so good. I loved the sour and spicy and the bits of lemongrass in it really packed a punch! The pineapple fried rice was okay, a bit smokey for my taste and it has raisins with cashews! The pad see ew was yummy, sweet and savory! Price wasn't to bad for our 3 entrees, about $60ish But the portions were huge and the staff was so friendly. Would def come back again!

    Crying Tiger (20 Mins)

First time going here and the food was really good! We got the hot basil with crispy pork, spicy fried rice, corn salad and the crying tiger. The menu does say that the crying tiger takes 20 minutes to make but it came out faster than I expected. All of the dishes were really flavorful. We also got mango sticky rice for dessert. Everything was flavorful and the service was good too. They were kinda busy and initially said it would be a 25 minute wait but we got in within 10-15 minutes. If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely come back!

The food here is really good. The only downside is that the wait can be pretty long. They do have a Yelp waitlist, but it seems like they prioritize reservations, so just keep that in mind before coming. The restaurant itself is really cute, clean, and pretty spacious. It can get a little loud when it's busy, but overall I really like the atmosphere. The pork belly is my favorite and something I get every time I come here. It's so good, and I love how the sauce and cucumber make the dish taste really refreshing. The pork jerky was also good and had a nice smoky flavor to it. The drunken noodles with beef were another highlight. The beef was super tender, tasted very fresh, and went perfectly with the noodles. Everything we ordered was solid, and there wasn't really anything I didn't enjoy. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!

Felt in the mood for Thai food at the time, so I visited Basil & Co. Overall it was a great experience with great food and excellent service. This has became one of my favorite spots. Went to the store on a Saturday at around 11:30 AM. It was moderately busy but I was able to seamlessly grab a seat for two. Parking was plentiful in the plaza. By the time I left, there was line waiting in front. Pad Thai: Got this with no green onions. The pad thai leans towards the sweeter side. They only gave one lime. We didn't feel it was enough so we asked for another one. Pork jerky: This came with two sauces. One seemed to be more of a vinegar base and the other one was more savory one. Both were good. Jerky was crispy and packed full of flavor. Papaya salad with pork belly: This includes green peas and tomatoes as well. It tasted seasoned well. The pork belly was also crispy. This took a bit longer to come out but worth the wait. (Completely forgot to take a photo since I was looking forward to it too much!) Make sure to ask for the spice tray; I added many spices for an extra kick. American Express is accepted here.

I've been wanting to come here for some time and finally made it in for lunch with a coworker. Very busy, almost a little chaotic. I wasn't thrilled with the hands-off ordering approach by scanning the URL on the table and then placing your order. I'm old school and like a menu and waiter/waitress to assist me. They reluctantly acquiesced to our request, and our food was ordered. FOOD: We started with the 8-piece Crispy Wonton ($8.99) appetizer, filled with chicken and shrimp and a sweet/sour dipping sauce. For entrées, we ordered the Hot Basil Chicken ($17.99) and the Red Duck Curry ($22.99), both served with steamed white rice. Everything was delicious, although the prices were higher than other Thai restaurants in the area. Overall, it's a nice place, albeit busy, so you might have a wait to be seated. Food delivery was quick, and the dishes were tasty. I'm sure we'll be back again.

The weather called for something delicious so we decided on Basil & Co for dinner. It was a great decision the place is beautiful, clean, the staff is friendly very attentive and the food was delicious. We are most definitely going back for more.

Made another stop with a different group of colleagues, and happy to share that this place is still a great option for delicious Thai food. I really appreciate the great service offered by every single server, they were super attentive and accommodating. Also huge shout-out for accomodating vegan food restrictions, they were able to modify the spicy fried rice completely vegan and the spicy level was just right. Parking is a bit challenging so be patient or try parking on the street.

I can't believe it has taken me this long to discover a Thai restaurant like this one that delivers such authentic flavors in every dish. I tried their pad see ew, yellow pumpkin curry, house fried rice, and Chinese broccoli with crispy pork. Literally, every dish was seasoned to perfection. The quality in their ingredients is definitely evident in every bite. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very inviting. It does get busy so there can be a wait especially during peak dinner hours. I highly recommend this place for delicious Thai cuisine. I can't wait to come back soon!

    Papaya Salad

The food, interior, and service are absolutely incredible, while being quite fairly priced! Absolutely recommend. The pad thai is the best in socal (dare i say), with great texture on the noodles. No notes! The papaya salad also tastes exactly as it should, and is very delicious. The fried catfish is also very good, and maintained its crispiness throughout the meal. The mango sticky rice is a little pricey, however the sticky rice is incredibly flavorful. Overall, the food is very very good. I don't believe there is a dish you can go wrong with!

    Drunken Noodles with Chicken
    Caes F.

Basil & Co is quality you can taste. Diamond Bar does have some diamonds. I love the way they prepared the Drunken Noodles and appreciated how hot the dish was. The flavors were loud and unapologetically delicious. $17.99 This dish alone was a five star experience. It was my favorite :) The Crispy Rolls are not bad, definitely needed a stronger fish sauce with some lettuce but then the prices creep up. $12.99 Everything was tasty and piping hot! Enjoyed my dinner here.

    Mango Sticky Rice
    Emily T.

I visited Basil & Co on a Tuesday for lunch and it was very busy but we were seated promptly. We ordered the drunken noodles, papaya salad, and mango sticky rice. The portions were deceptively large, they are very generous with their servings. My favorite was the papaya salad, which was very refreshing and perfect for the summer heat. My friend loved the drunken noodles the most, since they had a bolder flavor with more of a kick to it. You can never go wrong with their mango sticky rice. The mango is sweet and ripe, and the sticky rice is very coconutty and flavorful. Overall, I'm looking forward to coming back here and trying more of their extensive menu!

Made to order | Thai tea
    Andrea A.

This meal is worth the wait! Even at 8PM on a Friday, we waited 30 min for a table, and it was packed inside! With just 2 of us, we were seated at a four-person table. Any smaller of a table would've been a tight fit for all our food. It is very aesthetic inside with modern decor with a casual feel. Service was attentive, and ordering was quick and easy. We ordered a Thai tea, pad Thai with chicken, and yellow pumpkin curry with beef. The Thai tea was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. From our table, we saw the drinks being made to order. As for the food, the Pad Thai was delicious! The chicken was juicy and tender, and it looked like they used chicken thigh instead of the typical chicken breast. The sauce was perfectly balanced without being too sweet or salty, and I loved that the vegetables were still fresh and crunchy. The yellow pumpkin curry was just as good with rich flavor! The beef was tender, and the chunks of pumpkin added a subtle sweetness and great texture. I also liked how it came with a generous side of rice. By the end of the meal, we were completely stuffed. I can easily see why this place is so busy. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area to try the other dishes on the menu, like the papaya salad with crispy pork.

    Madeline B.

Everything here was so amazing! It's the best Thai food I've ever had in SoCal! I was in the area and we got a couple things to try. The pad thai was so flavorful and the calamari was crispy with a really tasty sour sauce on the side. The Thai teas were also the perfect amount of sweet and creamy. I'd also recommend the green curry. Basically everything we got. Oh especially the chicken satay! I loved that it wasn't on a skewer and it felt like they gave more than I'm used to getting at a restaurant. The inside was clean and well decorated and the workers were all really nice and helpful.

However, much to my surprise, when I checked Yelp, this place has almost all 5-star reviews. It makes no sense, so I had to leave a review. This is definitely not a 5-star or even a 4-star place. I'll give the benefit of doubt, maybe some other people have had a better experience than me, but realistically this place is like 3 stars max. I'm giving it 2 stars in this review and will explain why based on what we ordered. We ordered 3 items. First up was the appetizer which was Rangoons. They didn't look right when we got them. Usually, Rangoons have a puffy shaped appearance and have a cream cheese filling. The Rangoons we got were flat shaped triangles. I thought this was weird but I was trying to be open minded as maybe they have a different style here. They unexpectedly tasted like Chicken. I'm not sure if they used ground Chicken meat in them or if the taste of the filling was overpowered by being cooked in Chicken grease. The next item was Papaya Salad. The person that ate this said it didn't taste like Papaya. The main comment was either they used low-quality Papaya or it was old. Then there was the entree I got, Crying Tiger. Usually, Crying Tiger is marinated flank steak thinly sliced with a spicy sauce on the side. That's not what I got. The meat I got was Steak cut into cubes. It looked and tasted like the cuts of meat you buy at the grocery store to make stew. The sauce on the side was not right either. While the meat tasted alright for being stew meat, the dish was simply not what I was expecting. Overall, the food was visually unappealing and didn't taste right or was sub-par. It was clear that whoever was cooking the food didn't know how to make restaurant quality Thai food. I felt like I was eating out of the back of someone's house who didn't know how to cook good or didn't have the right ingredients or just didn't care. My recommendation is to avoid this place. I've been to a few Thai restaurants in Chino Hills, and this has been the worst so far. I still have a few left to try.

The service was friendly and attentive, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. I've dined here many times, and the quality has always been consistent. The inside ambiance is cozy, pretty, and highly comfortable, making it a great place to sit down and relax. On our most recent visit, we ordered a big spread of lunch specials: Pad Thai Chicken & Garlic Chicken with Fried Rice. The Pad Thai is consistently delicious and a standout here. Pad Thai + BBQ Chicken Combo (with Shrimp Fried Rice): The Thai BBQ chicken is incredibly flavorful and definitely a highlight of the menu. The shrimp fried rice was just okay this time around. Egg Rolls: Decent side order, pretty standard. Thai Iced Teas & Mango Sticky Rice (To-Go): You can't go wrong wrapping up a meal with their refreshing Thai teas and sweet mango sticky rice for later. Overall, if you stick to their signature Pad Thai and BBQ Chicken, you are guaranteed a great meal. We love supporting this local staple and will continue coming back for years to come.

The curry had good flavor and enough duck meat in it. There is adequate parking outside the restaurant, and the area seemed safe. I'd come back again next time!

We got southern curry noodles, flaming drunken noodle at extra spicy, and Che Po. The curry noodles were good we got the flat noodles. Though my wife likes it more savory I like it more coconutty. The che po was okay, the rice was steeped in the sauce which was too much for my wife and some of the pork belly pieces were tough. The bbq pork and the duck was good though. Authentic Thai and Chinese fusion taste. The star of the show was the flaming drunken noodle. It's probably one of the best drunken noodles we've had. At extra spicy, it definitely brought the flame and the foavor in a big way. The portions and prices were great. We had to togo the drunken noodle and it got even better after we reheated it. -service was very friendly and quick -the restaurant is a good size, great for large parties. Negatives: None 5/5 overall We will definitely be back, we already have our eye on trying the pad Thai and the tom yum noodles. My wife wants to bring the spice down, but i want the smoke I want that extra spicy level again lol

Parking is also easy to find as well. It was such a happier experience coming here vs going to Kim Ky. I used to drive down to the 626 to Kim Ky get my TeoChew noodles fix but not anymore after coming to NoodleMii. It's only a few mins from my house and now my favorite spot if i'm craving for home style noodle soup. House Bowl #1 is my favorite!! I love how the soup comes very hot, plenty of soup, noodles, and a lot of fresh toppings. The best part is that it's only $12.25 for a HUGE bowl!!! Next time I'm coming by for the dry noodles!! My server was super nice and brought everything I needed with a smile and even special accommodation for my son without me asking! It was just so freshing and such a pleasant experience! it's been a long time since I had such a perfect experience!!!! I will always remember the moment and am already looking forward to coming back again soon.

I ordered the bbq pork and THIN egg noodles . There aren't that many options in the city of Diamond Bar, but this is a good addition. Food comes out fast and piping hot . They do not serve green top sriracha sauce here, just an FYI. I love sriracha with a bowl of hot noodles and I felt that was the missing piece to my dish. Broth is decent but be a tiny bit more flavorful . Definitely would comeback for their soups again, great spot if you're in a hurry for lunch.

The green is very relaxing visually and it's always really clean and cool inside too. Service is great, food too but that goes without saying. I will say though, after having their boat noodles a couple times, Thaitwist's is probably the best I've had in a very long time. It's incredibly flavorful, though it is a bit lacking in add-ins/components, especially compared to other places I've been to. Besides that, it's still super delicious. However, I can't exactly say the same for their tom yum noodles. It's by far the worst I've had anywhere unfortunately. The soup is mildly tangy and pretty light, but kinda flat in terms of flavor. It's very singular in the taste department and also lacking in add-ins too. I guess if you're feeling under the weather and don't want anything too rich and heavy, this would be a pretty good option. Aside from that, everything else is delicious! After coming here several times, I'm starting to learn what Thaitwist makes really well and what items to skip.

I ordered the Thai Surf & Turf. The shrimp had a really nice grill and sear, and paired SO well with the green sauce. The Crying Tiger was also good, although I wish they gave you the option to choose the temperature of the steak since mine came well done. But wow, the sauces were sooo good. Both sauces really elevated the meat and shrimp. The brown rice was probably the weakest part for me and wasn't particularly appealing, but everything else made me curious to come back and explore more of the menu. Definitely a limited scope review since I only tried one dish, but a really promising first impression. 8/10
