I ordered the combo pho for the first time and they gave me lots of meats, this time i ordered a grilled pork chop with rice and again, a lot of meat that they gave me. When we went there the 1st time, our pho and vermicelli along with my Vietnamese cafe were !! So we couldn't wait to go back. The 2nd time we went, the part of the meat which we thought we fats were extremely yellow and tasted funny. The broth also tasted funny. I finished my bowl knowing that I should stop. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food! We ordered fresh roll, vermicelli bowl and beef pho. All were tasty and fresh! It's better than our prior visit when they first opened. My husband and I went to this restaurant for a quick fix and were surprised by friendly staff. We only ordered a large soup noodle but the waiter was so nice to offer extra noodle soup and checked if there was anything else we needed by several waiters. Craving pho in the middle of summer (i just love soup!) and this place definitely hits the spot! Growing up in a Viet household where we cook homemade pho and visit the homeland and eat out quite often, Basils Pho is the best there is. Such generous portions for its price and the quality of the food and taste. Not to mention the very kind staff who helped me with recommendations and service is quick here! I highly recommend the Pho! (Really any choice of meat, they're all amazing). The com dia (or broken rice dishes) are really good too. Perfectly grilled meat with broken rice over some fresh fish sauce and veggies on the side for texture. As you can tell I really enjoyed my food here, I ordered to go and saw that they were really clean with all of Covid-19 going on. Many of the tables were reserved for guests at specific times if they wanted to dine in and I only saw 1-2 families they were currently serving. So happy to have found my new favorite Vietnamese spot close to home! If anyone is craving Authentic Vietnamese food- definitely put Basil at the top of your places to try first! read more

Not sure if today was an off day.. but I ordered brisket and meatball pho and a banh mi thit nuong to go. My total came to $19 ish with tax. I think they up-charged me $2 for either the brisket or meatball which is peculiar because I've eaten here countless of times before and have never been charged extra for brisket and meatball pho. Soup in beef pho soup was really good, And the serving size was good for regular and large. The large bowl has abundant of soup and noodles, but protein not matching the size of the bowl and noodles. I was just here for the first time this week. with a friend. I really wanted to like the pho here but was disappointed. While the staff were friendly, the pho was not good. The noodles were wayyy undercooked and the broth was just okay. We also shared the tofu spring rolls which were decent. They do give you a good amount of food, I just wish it was better. We love this place. We love the food, the vibe, and the price point. There is an aspect of their service that they need to work on, though. When you ask for something specific with your order, they never come through. I get the same order each time. When I ask for no jalapeno peppers on my sandwich they smile and nod and then my sandwich comes fully loaded with peppers. When I ask for extra sauce for my appetizer, they act like they will do it, and then it's never in there. Even when you remove the peppers, the heat is still in the sandwich. Came here around 4:30pm on a Monday. Despite having 7 people in our group, we were quickly seated. The gentleman who greeted us was nice and super patient while we were trying to figure out what to order. My family got a little bit of everything: spring rolls, fresh rolls, pho, chicken vermicelli bowl, beef rice plate. Everything came out very delicious. Even my picky kids ate up all their food! My family who came to visit us from Hawaii said it was their favorite dinner they had during their whole trip with us! My usual pho place closes a bit earlier so I decided to try Basil since they were open later and a bit closer to my house. We picked up a to go order a few weeks ago, I ordered the rare steak pho, fresh rolls and banh mi sandwich. The pho was extremely greasy, like someone had added additional grease/fat to the broth of the soup. This was not noticed until I went to wash the dishes after we had eaten. The amount of grease that came from the to go container made it impossible to clean the dishpan of hot soapy water and had to be rinsed and rewashed twice before I could load my dishwasher. Just. Gross. The pho, banh mi sandwich and fresh rolls were all so salty the food was unable to be consumed and more than half of the order had to be thrown away. The pho and banh mi tasted like someone had literally dumped a salt shaker in it. Yeah. Not. Happy. Insert resting bitch face here Then insert the environment of chaos when I went to pick up my order. There was about 6 teenagers that ran behind the counter all trying to check me out as their group of obnoxious friends were waiting/hanging out at tables next to the register. No adult anywhere. The issue with the amount of salt used in the entire order makes me question if this wasn't done deliberately and the environment at the restaurant doesn't make me feel any better. Had I not been one of their last customers of the night, I would have called or gone immediately back to the restaurant and dealt with it then. I honestly have never been more disappointed. If there was an option to give zero stars, I would feel entirely appropriate in doing so. I will NEVER go back nor will I EVER advocate for this establishment. read more

I order here quite regularly through uber eats and I am ALWAYS SATISFIED! The food is consistently fantastic! The broth for the pho soup is just excellent, spot on flavor! Big change/difference from prior 5 star visits. After researching it appears there are new owners. Unfortunately I will not be returning anytime soon. I used to go out if my way to go there, it WAS that good. I'm hoping the new owners correct the issues. Workers looked like they just got out of bed. Dressed in what looked like sleep pants, gym shorts and slippers. Condiments sticky from prior day and black plate/platter condiments sit on very dirty. (Prior visits both always very clean) Had to hunt for the very small amount of chicken in Pho.
