Every slice felt like it had a little extra personality. We sat where we could see the pizza being made, which is both charming and mildly torturous when you're hungry. Dough, toppings, oven, waiting. A tiny drama in four acts. The wood-fired oven was doing the kind of work that made me wonder why we waited years to show up. The place itself feels like a real neighborhood pizza spot: worn wood tables, red and golden walls, local art, chalkboard beer list, and enough character that even the bathroom wanted to be part of the review.
