I went to the Agoura Hills Baskin-Robbins for my birthday for a Sundae I asked for extra cherries on my Sundae because it was my birthday The man behind the counter said we charge $1.00 per cherry. I said "You're kidding, right?" He said NO and he wouldn't give me any extra cherries. That is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Sells delicious BR ice cream but beware the swindler. 31st $1.70 scoop day. Rings up as $3.29-.86=$2.43. Even if you added LA tax to $1.70, you'd still pay only $1.86! Little boss in the store also emailed his subscribers a $3.50 deal for prepacked quart at $3.50. Showed him the email. In store it's buy one get one for $7.99. That's $4.00/quart. Well, I didn't want to buy two quarts and he even admitted his mistake in the email that HE sent out and claimed he'd honor it. Great. Till I got home and looked at the receipt: $6.99-3.00 =$3.99. Not quite $3.50. Not large sums of $$ but if he's doing this to every customer on the 31st, that's just dishonest. Never had these issues at other BR stores. read more

This is the second week in a row I have attempted to patronize this local business. Last Sunday 7/14/19, there was one employee working and the line was out the door! Just now at 7:37 PM on a Sunday evening in July. The woman in front of me was trying to pay by credit card. None of the employees knew how to process the credit card payment! Really?? They made the poor customer go out and get cash. As the line grew and grew. Three employees working and not one knew how to process a credit card payment! The woman behind me cut in front of me to pay for an ice cream cake- with a credit card! Then she wants the name written and candles! I asked one of the 3 employees still perplexed over the credit card if they could take care of me? They were too perplexed with the credit card that they ignored me! Disgusted the second week in a row (about the same time last Sunday, 7/14/19, I did what any rationale person would do. I did not say a word to the woman who cut in front of me and walked out! We love coming to this store. The store is always clean, stocked with my kids' favorite ice cream and the employees are always attentive and polite. The owners believe in giving back to the community and not only donate to the locate high schools but even have an fundraising event where my son's elementary school gets a discount and can come watch their teachers scoop ice cream. We have been pretty cautious about which restaurants we go to during Stay at Home, but we were craving ice cream so decided to check out Baskin Robbins to-go. It was so easy and they are doing everything they can to keep their customers safe. Only one customer is allowed in at a time, the employees retrieve any items from the self serve fridge for you, employees are wearing masks and there is plexiglass in front of the register. I feel like I come here every time I visit Oak Park. The service I've gotten has always been good. The only downside to this location is the fact that it is really small. There is barely any sitting room inside, and there are no chairs or tables outside. I always find myself eating in the car after buying ice cream here, which sucks..but that never stops us from coming back. read more

My girlfriend and I are dessert freaks and frequently get ice cream from this Baskin Robbins. We usually get the 3 scoop sunday with rockey road ice cream, hot fudge, melted marshmellow, and whipped cream. The staff here are friendly. The building is kept very clean, the staff are always cleaning their work space and their instruments. I will definately be going back many times. read more

Came to this location and as soon as we walked in we noticed the unpleasantness of one of the employees in there. He looked about 19 years old. I immediately noticed the long face, and in my mind I really wanted to tell him " do not worry we are going to tip you" since we were a group of 8 people but only 4 of us wanted ice cream. After we paid I noticed something, which I really hate to make it about this but I rarely get this feeling, so when I do, I sense it and I know it is happening, and its called discrimination. We were a group of 8 hispanics and the server was Caucasian, who had the face of been forced to be there. But like i said, once we paid, two young Caucasian girls walked in who he immediately changed his face with and even started smiling. This is when I confirmed my gut feeling. He even said goodnight to them even though they totally ignored him. So to top it off, right after they walked out he came to us and tells us that we can't be seated anymore because they are closed. He said they closed at 9:30 p.m. even though it said 10:00 p.m. and when he said this to us I looked at my watch and it was 9:43 p.m. We didn't want to cause a scene so we just got up and finished our treats in the parking lot. I looked back at the closing time and yet indeed they do close at 10:00p.m. not at 9:30 like he said! A group of guys walked in after we walked out and were served. I really wanted to go back inside and tell the guy that I thought they closed at 9:30p.m. which by this time it was already 9:55 p.m. Honestly just writing this review reminds me of how uncomfortable I felt which makes me really angry since I was with my family and my wife had just treated them to watch a movie at the theater near there. Nice way to have that ruin the night instead of making it better, which is the reason why you go for ice cream as a family! read more

I called to order a last minute cake for my sons birthday and Jay was so pleasant and accommodating. He text me some pictures of cakes he had and said he could customize it to my liking. I was able to pick it up within the 2 hour window I gave him. When I picked it up, Jay was just as pleasant in person as he was over the phone. He created a beautiful, fun cake that my 9 year old and our family enjoyed. Delicious! Jay even text me the next day to make sure we were happy with the cake. Thank you Jay! Some of the best ice cream around with a staff that has a great attitude. I had no problems using a coupon here either. Unfortunately a cheap skate ahead of me Kira B. was trying to pull a typical coupon scam by demanding something that was clearly not allowed on the coupon. Kira B. was really causing a scene and like a typical scamster & it was close to closing time and there was a line. The nice gal who was working here looked at the people in the line. I locked eyes and shook my head firmly indicating to not let this cheap skate scammer pull of her dirty filthy rotten coupon scam. I couldn't be more thrilled to see that Kira B. left a review stating that she won't return. Good riddance we are better off without her! The ladies who work here have a ton of patience and even stayed open a little later because it was taking me so long to decide what I wanted, and in all fairness I had been talking with them since before they technically closed when I started my order. Some of these slow pokes need to get a GRIP on reality and realize a place like this takes time because it is hand scooped. REAL ICE CREAM that is absolutely head and shoulders above anything you can get in any super market. When this place is closed yeah sometimes you have to goto the supermarket and luckily the one right next to this ice cream spot carries Coolhaus Mint and Chip ice cream sandwiches which will work in a pinch... except for the true ice cream fiend which you will witness in the story that will unfold. Right as I walked out of this fine Modern Ice Cream Parlour low and behold Dyland D. tries to barge his way in furiously shaking a locked door demanding to enter a business that has already closed. Never in my life have I seen a human being fiend for ice cream so furiously! It was a site to behold, where Dylan D. even threatened to call the police, and over what? Ice Cream. I think Dyland D. needs to have a ice cream intervention ASAP! read more

We called in to order 3 polar pizza cakes for our daughters birthday. We spoke to a young kid Nov* and he took our name and said they would be put on hold for us. we asked if they needed a credit card to put them on hold, he said no. We asked to clarify because we planned to pick them up 30 min before our daughters party. You are guaranting that they will be ready, and he said yes. Well when we went in to pick them up the next day, 8/5/17 at 2:30 they were out of them. The kid who took the order was there, he said they can't find the order. Never order a cake with an image from this location! All they have to do is print your image on edible paper and place it on top of the cake. Something this simple went way wrong. They cut off part of the image, it wasn't centered, it wasn't laid flat so you could see crinkles and bubbles, the colors were dull, the writing was not legible, the frosting on the side wasn't flat, the color of the trim didn't match the colors of the image.
