We had a really disappointing experience at this Baskin-Robbins today. The employee helping us was an older woman with gray hair in a ponytail (she wasn't wearing a name tag), and from the moment we walked in she was incredibly rude. We greeted her, asked how she was doing, and were nothing but polite, but she repeatedly responded with, "What do you want?" in a dismissive tone. Out of our four orders, three were either made incorrectly or were done very poorly. The milkshakes were so thin they were basically just milk--we actually stopped at Safeway afterward to buy ice cream so we could fix them ourselves. What made it even more frustrating was that the store wasn't busy at all. We would completely understand if there had been a long line or she was overwhelmed, but it was dead inside. There didn't seem to be any reason for the poor attitude or lack of care. Despite the experience, we still thanked her and wished her a good day when we left. Her response was simply "Bye," said twice in a very rude tone. Everyone has off days, but customer service shouldn't make people feel unwelcome. We came in excited for a treat and left disappointed. Hopefully management addresses this, because it completely ruined what should have been a fun stop for ice cream. read more

This Baskin Robbins location is in combination with Togos. Usually address the Baskin Robbin's line pretty quickly. Service is good. However I wasn't too happy with the Spider-Man ice cream cake I ordered for my son's birthday. The color was more orange than red and the cake was a little lopsided and when we cut it, it fell over. Bought two scoops for my son, one for me. This is what I got - and you can kind of see his two scoops are just as small. My scoop was smaller than a golf ball. $13 for this disappointment. They called and said they couldn't make it and I could get a refund or pick it up 2 days after the birthday party, because they would have to get it from a different store, which doesn't help me at all. Don't tell people you can make the cake, give them a pickup time 2 hours before the party then the day before, call and say you cannot make the cake. I called the employee back and she said "my manager isn't here, but I can do a refund or just write go sharks on it." This is a $44 cake, that is supposed to have the team logo on it. Now it's a $44 cake that doesn't have anything but writing on it, and I can't get it until 2 days after the birthday party. Very unprofessional and rude. I have gotten every birthday cake there since I was a child, but I will not return now that they have were so rude and didn't let me know until the day before so now I can't get a cake anywhere else. If you want a happy birthday or a good cake, stay far, far away from this store. read more

Trash was flowing out of the garbage can, floor looked like it had not been mopped in weeks, table tops had not been wiped down, the the freezers they keep the ice cream in were dirty. I ordered a small round cake for my grandson's 5th birthday. He requested a chocolate cake with strawberry ice cream. I had purchased a dinosaur as a gift and I thought it would be cute if I could have a dinosaur decoration made on the cake that resembled the dinosaur birthday gift! I spoke to Jen who is the cake decorator and explained my idea. She agreed to take a look so I took the dinosaur toy in. She took a picture of it and said she would do her best. The cake turned out over the top amazing! It looked exactly like the dinosaur, my grandson was thrilled and my whole family was super impressed. The cake was absolutely delicious! I called Baskin Robbins on Coach Lane in Cameron in Park on Monday to custom order a birthday cake for my son. I came in Friday to pick up my cake. They said there was no cake made for that name. I asked well what do I do now? and the girl responded "um I don't know" I asked if I bought a cake that was already premade if they can discount me because I ordered a custom cake over the phone and that's not what I ordered. So the other girl working called her manager and proceeded to tell me she can only mark three dollars off the cake. So a $45 cake is now $42 wow that's makes it right!! I am so sorry but if I order a custom cake over the phone, you think a business would follow through and make it. I understand mistakes happen but the customer service I experienced at this location was terrible. I walked out with no cake for my son's birthday. She was able to help each of my kids pick out which flavor ice cream and if they want it as a milkshake or a cone and or cup. Bella gave us so many options to choose from it was perfect for each of my kids to pick what they like so easily and feel like they each got something unique and special to them.
