Seasonal flavor: chocolate chocolate cheesecake: nice and dark flavored, cheesecake added a nice saltiness. 5. Seasonal flavor: black walnut. So I was forewarned by the worker it is "interesting". Good or bad buddy?! Well I was about to find out. N.O. it tasted like fermented ice cream lol. Might as well come out with kim chi flavored 6. Pralines and cream: holy sweet. Vanilla with caramel.swirl and candied walnuts. Honestly plain walnuts would do just fine. 7. Kids scoop on cone is what I got. Perfect size for me. About $4 for this. And got home to try my chocolate milkshake and I've had better chocolate milkshakes at In&Out and other hamburger joints than this Baskin Robbin's which is really sad since they're in the ice cream business. My recommendation is skip buying your milkshake here and go less than a mile down the road to Wendy's for a frosty or McDonald's for a shake. This baskin robbins in Dublin has been around forever. More than a decade. The flavors here tend more toward kids flavors. The ice cream today wasn't that cold and a little soft. The flavor tasted a little freezer burn and gummy. I think the one in Pleasanton is run a little better and the flavors there are more varied. read more

Wow, just wow. I mean that in the worst possible way. I went on the Baskin Robbins website to place an order for a cake. The site has been down for several days, no matter what device I use, the order doesn't process and directs me to call the branch. I call this branch, and explain the issue with the website, and the man on the line seems confused. I explain that I'd like to order the cake directly from them, over the phone. He puts me on hold, and shortly after hangs up on me. I call back several times (6 times), and now they're not even answering the phone anymore. I go in on my birthday for my free birthday scoop. I order a scoop and then go to pay with my code. He says, oh, a birthday scoop is only 2.5 ounces. So he dumps my scoop. Very friendly and attentive staffs. Very helpful and nice. Stopped by to grab some ice cream for the kid. Ordered a 2-scoop cookie n cream. Pretty large scoop. Place is neat and clean compared to other location that I've been to. Staffs wear masks and gloves. Hand sanitizer is provided at the cashier area. A plexi glass is still use for safety reason. I was utterly shocked when they brought the cake out for me to take a look at First of all who ever frosted this cake should not be in this business, it was so sloppily frosted and looked absolutely horrible. The cake looked nothing like the photo online, the colors weren't even close! The stripes aren't even straight and you can clearly see where they had to keep stopping. The writing on top was atrocious and not centered on the cake! To say I was disappointed would be an understatement... I order cakes from this store ever year for birthday and have never had an issue and the cakes always looked great, not sure what changed I was in tears over how bad my cake looked and the manager did absolutely nothing. He was rude and obviously does not care about the customer. He did not offer any discounts or refund. I will never be going back here! This establishment should not be in business if they can't have people who can decorate a cake. Wow I am genuinely blown away by the service that was provided today. When I walked in the smell of waffles cones being made was blissfully amazing. The workers greeted me eagerly and were always being attentive to all that were in the store. I went to Baskin-Robbins to use my buy one get one free scoop coupon on the BR app. I ordered 2 scoops. At the time of paying the clerk charged me for 2 scoops. I presented the coupon on the app and the clerk would not honor it. He said because I ordered 2 scoops the coupon would not work. He refused to honor the coupon. Very disappointing customer service. For reference I attached a screen print of the coupon details. No where does it say you have to verbally say I will order one scoop and then ask for the second to be free. The worst service ever received at this Baskin Robin Dublin location. I got a birthday treat - a free scoop coupon and it is valid with a numeric code or a scannable code. The manager there was very rude and kept saying his machine can't scan the code because it's not a bar code. I explained that there's a numeric code you can enter instead. He ignored me and served others. I ended up driving back to Castro valley store and they were so much better service. They used the same machine and just scanned my code and gave me an ice cream scoop with cone. Today I asked for a milkshake with mint chip ice cream, came out like water, tasting like milk. Went back and asked for it to be remade, which the scooper obliged to, but it's the SAME CONSISTENCY. We were here last week and serviced by a young girl. She was sweet and got my daughter two big kid scoops on cone. Price isn't the best in town, but service was good. We paid what we got. It's a typical Baskin Robbins, nothing different here. I happen to like Baskin Robbins. They always have plenty of flavors. I like that they offer kid cones and smaller portions. I really like that they list all the calories and have slightly healthier choices (reduced sugar, reduced fat, sherberts and the like). My husband and I are trying a reduced sugar kick so we only ordered cones for the kids. Service was friendly,and the kids loved the colorful sherbert they picked out. It's all about the visual for them. Of course, I ended up "helping" my daughter lick the cone so it wouldn't drip. So much for my reduced sugar diet. The sherbert was delicious. read more

I can't pinpoint it's exact flavor, but it's a true addiction and I love it. My friend lives in west Dublin, so we often make the trip out here when we can after doing some shopping or just feel like demolishing insane amounts of Ice Cream The waffle cone is so good, too. Sometimes on the right day, I treat myself to a double scoop, but usually can't end up finishing it. You get a lot of ice cream for what you end up paying. If I can do a 0 stars on this review I would. This review solely goes to the man who works in the back, whom I heard is one of the "managers" there, according to the junior worker who was wearing a pink BR work shirt. The guy in the back who was wearing the blue shirt was obviously not doing anything since he was just browsing on his smartphone watching videos. I walked in to order a cake with some simple designs I have in mind so I brought in print outs to help them visualize what I wanted. The junior worker goes to the back to find some answers since he wasn't sure about some of the questions I asked, such as "Can the cake be ready by XX day?" The blue shirt guy comes out looking annoyed already with questions and gave me a very bad expression already. He looked very annoyed, didn't enjoy his job and just wanted me to stop asking questions and go away...or at least that was the feeling I got from my 10 mins in there. He just kept telling me the decorator is on vacay and he doesn't do this and that from all my questions. Long story short, blue shirt worker was NOT helpful at all. I felt like he was the customer and I am the worker instead, and I should please him and his bad attitude. He seemed very annoyed when I asked if he can help me find the right size cake for what I needed. Eventually I got tired of his horrible attitude and stressed out look, I asked him if I should bring this to the San Ramon BR location instead and he even said "SURE". Wow. Really. I can't believe how this Baskin Robbins allows employees with no customer service etiquette whatsoever!! This is absolutely the worst and only worst experience at a baskin robbins!! I understand how busy it can be on Tuesday Family Night..but really, you knew what to expect and it wasn't their first time. It was two females and a male. Now it isn't hard to understand how the line is for an employee..especially if you can speak up and say "next in line, please? have you been helped?" But no..especially for the male employee named MATT who just totally passed us up and went to the next group of people behind us..and how funny all he asked them was "are you ready?" After mentioning the fact we were passed up, we were totally ignored. No apologies for inconvenience or any misunderstandings!! What kind of FAMILY NIGHT is that? And i didn't have any whining, indecisive people in my group. The only worker there that had any type of customer service was the female named EMILY.
