Went to baskin Robbin's to treat my family to a treat! The girl who helped us look very irritated and did not want to be there. She moved very slowly. We ordered 2 kids school for my girls and both scoops was different sizes. My other half wanted to get a large Reese's peanut butter shake. When I told her that's what she wanted she looked at the ice cream looked back( with an irritated look) at me and said we're out. He was ok with that so he ordered a pistachio almond. she looked like she was having a difficult time scoop the ice cream and only scooped like 3 kids scoop. In to the blender. Next we ordered a layered sundae with rocky road, as she proceeded to scope its looked like she was having trouble so I told her if the ice cream was hard and she said yeah so I change to world class chocolate. Location: Baskin Robins is located in the same shopping center as KFC and its next to a Domino's Pizza. There is decent parking but parking spaces are small. Flavors: There are so many flavors to choose from such as jamocha, cookies and cream, cheesecake and first class camouflage ice cream. I tried the first class camouflage ice cream for the first time and it was delicious. It was a mix of chocolate, caramel and cake batter ice cream. Sizes: The kid's size is a perfect portion size. I got a size small and it was slightly bigger than the kid's size. Price: The price is cheap for the kid's size. I spend a little over $6 for a kid's size and a small size. Bathroom: If you need to use the bathroom, you'll have to ask the staff for a key. The bathroom is located upstairs. Overall, I'm glad Ewa Beach has an ice cream shop. Dang! Why do I have to be addicted to ice cream? Came here the other night and it was packed. There were two employees yet only one was focused on the customers in store. The other employee was focused on making ice cream cakes. With only one employee serving the customers in line, it took FOREVER to get my scoop of ice cream. 25 minutes for one scoop of ice cream. This is what I mean by being addicted. I waited because I was craving ice cream. By the time I made it to the front of the line, the worker was not having it. She seemed irritated and rushed. However while waiting in line I saw one of the workers working without gloves, the person he was helping ordered a cone and he was touching it with his bare hands... with this pandemic I'd think workers would be smarter and more cautious. I scream for broccoli, no not really. Well it's a standard Baskin-Robbins with the bright colors and lights. We were coming here for an ice cream cake to celebrate a Bday. Also we needed candles so this was one stop shopping. That night there was not much of a big selection and prices are a little high but BR is a great place to get a quick treat. One of the young ladies was nice enough to go to the back and get the rest of the full sheet cakes for us to view. I don't know what it is but why are the tables always sticky in any BR? Ok I understand there are usually only two people that work there but they should have time to clean the tables or even give me a hot rag to wipe down our table. Luckily, this Baskin Robbins is still standing. The times I have been there, there is only one person working. I usually go before 2PM on a weekday. Lately I've only come across the older man with glasses. He's nice and acknolwedges your presence upon entering the Baskin Robbins. Usually when I go we are the only ones there, but he is great at taking our order and providing quick service. I came in today around 1PM, and the same man was working. Me and my sons arrived at Baskin Robbins in Ewa Beach at 9:48pm by the time on my cell phone, my watch, and my car. I didn't see any customers in there so I sent one of my son. He went inside, then came back out to call me and my 6 yr old inside. Once my six year old and I entered the store we started looking at the ice cream. Suddenly one of the staff blurted out, "WE'RE CLOSED!" I Iooked at her and asked oh don't you close at 10pm? It's like 9:50. She again said we're closed. I exited the store with my two dejected sons and headed back to my car. Once in the car I called the store and someone answered the phone. I asked them if they close at 10 and she replied yes. I said why did you just turn my family away then? She was tongue tied for about 10 seconds then she responded, we go by the clock in the store and it said 10pm. I replied that I told them the time when I was there. I then asked for the managers name as I intended to just speak with them tomorrow and let them know what happened. What happened next shocked me. The lady on the phone replied we don't give out that information, sorry and hung up in my face. The workers always seem mad that you're making them work and will often have one person working and one cleaning to ensure they can leave on time, even if there's slot of People there waiting. Last time we were there the worker who we have had many times didn't even know what topping was the Snickers. He asked me and I said that I didn't know and he ended up giving me Heath by mistake. Not sure if I'm spelling her name right because she refused to right her name down or give me the proper spelling of her name but BRIANNA is the worse person to have interacting with customers. She needs to be retrained or let go altogether. I had to order the 9" round cake online because I was picking up in Ewa Beach for my brothers 16th birthday cake and I live farther so I didn't have the time to go down to this specific store to make the order in person. Online it shows the picture covering the whole cake get there to pick up my order, wish I could add photos to show I'm not exaggerating. First off I called the day before pick up and I don't know who I received over the phone but the female worker who answered when asked if I could change the colors a little bit on the cake but online it didn't give an option to change the colors shown she said, " WHATEVER YOU SEE ONLINE THATS HOW ITS MADE SO I DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT." I simply respond by explaining the online order doesn't allow you to custom the colors only shows blue for the picture is there a way to change the colors she tells me well I don't make the cakes so I can't tell you only that how you see it online that's it. Fast forward to pick up the cake from the store BRIANNA shows me the cake and I swear the picture is half the size of a wallet size picture. I asked her how come it's so small of a picture. She responds by saying, " I DONT KNOW I DIDNT MAKE THE CAKE." As a customer providing a place of business with your hard earned money especially during this COVID do you think that answer is acceptable especially when you just paid almost $60 for that cake. I think not. Then she tries to hand me my cake and I bought another one that I picked from the fridge to have just in case some people didn't like the one I selected and she tries to hand me both without them being in a bag after I asked her for a bag. She puts the number candles I also bought at the bottom of the package without asking me. I asked her why did she do that and not asked me first she said,"I DID THAT ESPECIALLY FOR YOU." I asked for her name she said it's Brianna I asked for her to write it on my receipt because people spell their name different ways now days so I want to make sure that I get it correct she said no I don't have to do that I told you my name I don't have to tell you how to spell it. Then said her managers name is Richard. Grabbed my things and I left. I paid over $100 at that specific store to be treated and talked to in that manner. Don't go here if you have a specific type of order you want spent your money somewhere that will treat you like a valued customer especially when you spend over $100 for just ice cream cake...Richard the manager initially texted me on Saturday the day after the incident because I already filed a complaint on the corporate site and on google reviews but I think it only fair to do it on here as well...he said this employee Brianna would give me a formal apology and that he would refund me the $12.99 price and a $2 off next purchase...I told he can keep the refund and the coupon all I really care for is an apology from her to know she handled that situation all wrong..after trying to schedule a time that that would be possible he ends up getting back to me and tells me that she is suspended for the weekend because she is refusing to do it and he even told me that she admitted that she was wrong and that she should not have responded in that way because she PANICKED and just snapped at me...so it's my fault that you work there or possibly dislike your job...yes it's my fault that all I'm doing as a paying customer is asking a simple question as to why is it like that...because when you pay for something and the employee provides you with the answer of I DONT KNOW is always acceptable right???..so you snap at the customer yes ok that is very professional and acceptable but he ultimately just refunded me $25 and I agreed to it because at least I should get some type of compensation for their employees' discourtesy. read more

Lots of parking around but this place does get busy. Especially, after dinner! I've read a lot of negative reviews about this place because of the employees and manager. Honestly, we've never had bad service every time we come here. We're always helped when its our turn.
