I have been to this BR twice in the last 3 weeks...and both times the same cranky employee was there. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt the first time because everyone has a bad day...but the 2nd visit was just the same. No smile, on her phone, and seemed completely bothered that we walked through the door. She clearly dislikes her job. The first visit I came in with 4 adults and a child and there were a total of 4 cones left to choose from. The next time I came in with myself and 2 kids, and this time there was no ice, which was disappointing since I wanted one of the frozen drinks. I understand businesses run out of items all the time but to be out of major components like cones or ice on 2 different occasions was a little annoying. I'm pretty sure we will choose DQ or Double Dip from now on! read more

I stopped by this ice cream store today and I have nothing but good things to say, the owner was very friendly and kind they have over 2000 flavors to choose from while they keep only 32 at a time. We ordered a cake from here for my grandmother's 91st bday and requested it say "Happy Birthday, [her name]!" We also paid extra for the candles. The cake was picked up by my husband because we were running late on the other side of town in traffic. They didn't give him the candles and only put "Happy Birthday!" and not the lettering we clearly requested online and in the confirmation received. We had to go back for a refund on the candles days after the celebration. They tried to under-refund us by not including the tax. We had to do the math for them and then they gave us the correct amount. No indication anything would be done regarding the incorrect lettering on the cake. Used to be great, but manager arbitrarily change their family night pricing. Bathrooms pretty gross with the women's bathroom out of order so I had to take my three-year-old daughter to the men's bathroom which was disgusting with no hand towels. Probably will find a new ice cream spot. read more

The best Baskin Robbins I've been to. The manager is great and the store is very well maintained. The owner is a works hard and always gets you what you want. The previous management was very bad, with teenagers roaming around making the store a mess, when the new manager took over he changed the store completely and made it a family/friendly environment. Makes very good cakes. Highly recommended. read more

I went one evening with a friend and somehow I managed to leave my phone behind. I got home about ten minutes later and called immediately to speak with the manager. He asked me to describe my phone... I'm thinking, how many people left their phone there today? So I told him the type of phone and he said yes, they found it. I was so thankful! I got up there in five minutes and asked to collect my phone, suddenly no one knows anything about it and maybe I talked to a different manager, which I know I didn't b/c he's wearing a name tag right in front of me... Their food is terrible, the service is remarkably horrible and takes way too long. I wouldn't refer them to my worst enemy. Baskin Robbins isn't always a bad place, but I'd rather starve then eat at this particular one. read more

Where to start, first of all I've managed and worked at bars and restaurants for twenty years ( I know a lot of people say that ) so unlike a lot of my counterparts I don't come in expecting five star service or cleanliness, but I have to say this is the dirtiest nastiest store I've visited in a long time, mind you I've worked at bars and clubs where the unimaginable happens all the time, so with that said I took my son to the restroom, and being only 4 he needs help, walking in I was horrified by the filth in this restroom, the toilet seat and surrounding area was so disgusting with urine and other bacteria that I basically had to hold him so he would hover over the seat and not touch any thing, we then went to wash our hand and the sink wasn't much better, and as were walking back to our seats my son wants a drink from the water fountain, and by now I'm really starting to take a mental inventory of my surroundings and of course the water fountain has probably never been sanitized. I realize a lot of you could care less about the restrooms or a water fountain but I know those kind of things are only a reflection of the rest of the store and what goes on behind the counter and in the back were every thing is stored and supposedly cleaned. Needless to say I've been in truck stops that were cleaner than this, so for me and my family we'll find somewhere else to go. read more

I brought my family in today for a treat and absolutely enjoyed my time spent. The customer service was awesome! My kids were offered many samples. My husband & I are definitely considering getting a cake for our daughter's birthday coming up. This place has always suffered with poor customer service and I stopped going years back after teens worked there and did not take their jobs seriously. I have been giving this location so many tries to better their customer service but have never changed for the better. I prefer to drive 2001 Coit Rd Suite 321, Plano, TX 75075 and the one-off Custer and Virginia Pkwy. They never accept coupons that have their address on it or allow us to use the app. I was even nice enough to place an cake order, but completely screwed up and didn't remake the cake or give our money back!! I have recently gone there for a simply sundae and yet they gave me a one scoop cup but charged me for the price of a sundae!! They don't do anything about it. They just look at you like I was making they lower the prices for me. This managment has to go, he has no sense of customer service and is ruining the Baskin-Robbins name in the Frisco area!!! I am giving this review because I have not seen a single change in the 10 years I have lived here. I am all for family business and don't want to ruin their lives, but they are running like a rogue fanchise unit. They should not be under the Baskin-Robbins trademark if they keep this up. read more

Other than a good ice cream cake I found this place to be tremendously overpriced. A single scoop of ice cream is 2.59 and then if you want a waffle cone that in itself is another 2.59. So, there ya go. 5.00 for a waffle cone. I'll drive the extra distance to Braums. read more

I beg to differ from the previous review about the cake. Ever since BR31 opened my family and myself have been customers. Every year since, I have always purchased my birthday cakes, for both of my children (ages 3 & 7 now) and have had nothing but fantastic reviews, both with my children and our invited guests. As far as the design of the cakes goes they truly have great tecjnique. I always bring in creative pictures or drawings of cakes I want them to make and they do it at no added and crazy cost. They are ethical, creative and fabulous cake designers. Remember people this is not The Amazing Cake show but they sure do their best to measure up. Plus, on special holidays we always like to purchase a fun treat for dessert. As far as the owner goes, she has always been involved in her business and makes herself present which is a plus for customers. She is quick to make sure that you come in and have an enjoyable moment and treat for every visit. She always makes sure her toppings are fresh and her shop is clean. I, for one, are happy that we have a BR31 in Frisco and that they involve themselves actively in our community and schools. They are a great place to visit and rembeber Tuseday Family night. My daughter always reminds us and now it has caught on to my 3yr old son. read more

I recently called the store and ordered an ice cream cake for my daughter's birthday dinner. When my husband got home with it, my daughter was upset that the cake didn't look like the cake she expected (and that we had gotten before from a McKinney BR location). When I spoke to the owner, she informed me that "the cake looks different on your computer screen because of your screen". Then, when I explained that we had ordered the cake previously, she said HER store does it her way-- and has done it HER way for the last four years. Okay, fine. I paid $32 for a cake that my daughter isn't pleased as punch to have. I asked her what she was willing to do to make this right. She said I could return the cake for a refund. So now, I can either make brownies at the last minute as a replacement or tell my daughter tough luck. I chose to keep the cake and not stress about the incompetence of this store's owner. I understand it's a tough time to own a business. I simply can't understand why she expected me to be happy with her easy-way-out substitute on the cake's decorations. Her attitude was a take-it-or-leave-it kind of tone. And... Since my husband doesn't thoroughly grasp the greatness of Blue Bell Ice Cream, we will likely return to this store for our occasional ice cream cones.
