Changing my review to 1 star after my last visit. The scoops were noticeably smaller than usual and not worth the price. Instead of standard scoops, I received kid scoops. I still have the untouched ice cream in my freezer because of how disappointing it was. When I called the next day, the manager acknowledged that the girl who did my scoops was new, but remained defensive and told me to email the owner. I did, and I also contacted corporate, but the owner has completely ignore me the emails including the one from corporate. It has now been several days since my visit and a refusal from management to resolve the issue. Poor management and poor customer service. It seems I finally got the experience that all the 1 star review customers have received over the years. Glad my options are not limited. There are plenty of ice cream shops in my neighborhood including, Jeni's, Salt and Straw, and Cold Stone, AND plenty of other Baskin Robbins locations. I won't be going out of my way just to support this one anymore. read more

Came to this Baskin-Robbins for my son's birthday and had a great experience. They opened early, which helped a lot, because I thought they opened at 11 and showed up ahead of that. I was able to get an ice cream cake with no problem. They have an awesome selection of cakes and really good ice cream flavors. Jennifer was there to help me and she was very nice, patient, and friendly. The store was clean and well kept. She wrote "Happy Birthday" and the kids' names on the cake and made sure everything was set before I left. I do not see any reason not to give them five stars. We are all set and good to go with this Baskin-Robbins. read more

On the hottest day of the summer the card machine is down. Reportedly only cash can be utilized and I couldn't use a free reward. When asked whether a manager could assist, their worker- Sam- let me know that there's no manager and they can't provide store details or manager information. Sam further wouldn't provide a number for corporate. For a franchise of a billion dollar corporation I find it hard to believe that there aren't standard operating procedures to assist customers when issues such as this arise. read more

I am so incredibly disappointed with this location. I purchased my nephew an ice cream cake for his 12th birthday this afternoon. I had an issue with the cake, but no one cared enough to resolve it. The staff members were rude, particularly Krista (who refused to provide me with her name). The manager, Sarah, was contacted by one of the employees in the store in an attempt to help resolve my issue. She was of no assistance either. Sounds like the staff are afraid of the owner. I wonder who that is. We will not be back to this location. read more

I needed an ice cream cake for a last minute birthday celebration amidst this Coronavirus freenzy. Our city and state are on lock down for 30 days. Business that remain open are asked to use cautionary measure to prevent the spread of the virus. I walked into the Inglewood location of Baskin Robbins and not only was there no hand sanitizer in the building the works were NOT wearing gloves. How negligent of an owner can you be to not, at minimum, provide your staff with gloves when serving the public during a time like this. read more

We were craving some delicious ice cream after a nice dinner and looked up what was open in the area. Sure enough, a quick Google search rendered this Baskin-Robbins location open until 10pm. We drove over as fast as humanly possible and arrived at 9:50pm. The lights were still on and the door was open. We walked in and as we went up to the counter, the employees were staring at us but made no mention that they were closed for the night. Therefore, we started our order only to be quickly cut off with "sorry, we're closed." That doesn't make much sense considering the door was unlocked, the sign said 'OPEN' and there was a full set of staff behind the counter. The employee kept insisting they were closed even though it was not 10pm. We begged and pleaded and let them know the order would be extremely easy and simple, to no avail. After hearing the employee reiterate for the fourth time "sorry, we're closed," we proceeded to ask what the franchise owner would think if they turned away business before closing time. They responded, "they actually don't want to pay us extra." After one last Hail Mary effort, we hung our heads in defeat and left the store. Bottom line: don't come to this location. They would rather do what's easy than what's right. read more

I never post on Yelp. Usually, I say lesson learned and don't return or try something new. In this particular case, I felt people needed to know what they got themselves into when purchasing from this franchise. I tried to cancel a cake order made to this store with a weeks notice since I paid it all in advance. HUGE MISTAKE! The owner called me to tell me there was no refunds or cancellations on orders of any kind. I explained that his staff did not mention this nor is it on the receipt or order form and there is no signage on this. He was adamant that there was and that staff told me this when purchasing. The cashier Jocelyn did not. As the customer I did not know I would not be able to cancel and this is why I called to do so. The owner proceeded to tell me he had no refund mechanism and could only offer store credit and that people don't cancel orders. In addition, he proceeded to tell me that no cancellations occur because it takes his staff time (20 minutes) to place an order, lies she fulfilled the order in 10 minutes, including the refrigerated cake I purchased on this day. He mentioned people don't cancel cakes and that he does not need to have a cancellation policy on paper which is problematic. Things do happen and cancellations need to occur and the lack of flexibility from this store is disappointing. I have been purchasing cakes for a long time from Baskin Robbins including this one. I will not be coming here anymore. Definitely be very weary when purchasing from this location as other people have also shared their negative experiences at this particular store. read more

My sister and I aren't from the area but we came out to have dinner and stopped by to get ice cream before hopping on the freeway for a long drive home. So I wish so badly I knew his name but there was a young African kid that was working there. He didn't have a badge yet. Said he had only been there a few weeks. He had such a great personality and the best smile. He was so helpful with recommendations on tasty ice cream that we had never tried. He was so patient with me and had such a positive attitude while my party and I ordered, give that kid a raise!!!!!!! Wasn't impressed with the overpriced ice cream. Not sure if it's because the guy just opened a new gallon but my ice cream was already melted, almost like a creamy shake... I ordered the peanut butter and chocolate, but with the 1 piece of peanut butter in the whole 2 scoops I felt as if I ordered plain chocolate. This was my first visit to this particular location, not so much Baskin Robbins itself. Parking was a breeze because the lot is shared with other stores. In my opinion it's a very beautiful location. The setup is very nice. I love the seating area. It's sort of off to itself away from the register which is awesome. Gives both the customer and employee some space. It had like a small restaurant type of setting. When my coworker and I walked in we noticed a team member by the name of Funbi (very unusual name I might add) hard at work. He was sweeping the seating area and before we knew anything he was behind the counter ready to take our order. He sure knows how to multitask. I appreciated that so much because the line was a bit long especially for us seeing that we are in the clock. When team members of a restaurant notice customers in uniform, take their order and get them out, this I totally appreciate. Another thing I appreciated was the diversity in the employees hired. That is unique and awesome. You don't see that too much anymore. read more

My oder was left at the security gate by the Postmate deliverer and Baskin Robbins charged me over $21.00 for my ice cream. Stay away from location on Postmates. read more

I come to this location at least once a week. Im specifically writing this review for Halloween 2020. I know im late but hey. My little brother reminded me to write this review last night. We both came into baskin robbins on Halloween to get ice cream for the fam. Julian was so nice and patient with us. My little brother thought he was so cool. Julian gave us candy which made my little bro feel special. Made him feel like he had a friend in Julian. He acted like we were the only people he gave candy to. Great new location with ample AC, flavors, and a nice big, clean area to sit in. The reason it got 4 out of 5 stars is below: I came in with my kids for a nice afternoon treat on a hot day. No one spoke to us, mainly because the owner/boss was hovering over the two servers like he'd shank them if they made any missteps. Seriously, this dude seemed like he either didn't want us in there, or was pissed his dad made him open an icecream shop. He paced back and forth behind the counter, all over the store, outside, the entire time we were there. Even my kids commented on his behavior and mean mug. You'd think someone who is trying to build a business would smile at customers, speak to them, etc. He even sat in the seating area that we wanted to sit in. Also, he yelled at his workers for leaving icecream somewhere in the back, but I could clearly hear him constantly badgering them. Skip this Baskin Robbins entirely! I ordered three cakes online and provided my cc info to secure the order. I went to pick up the cakes on the way to a large bday party and after printing my order and receipt the employee very uncomfortably advised me the order was not made, and at that time (4pm on a Saturday) could not be made until the next day, Sunday. They could also NOT give me a refund because the owner did not allow them to; they could only be done by him. AND they could not contact him because he does not take calls on Saturday for religious purposes. So I am out of cakes AND over $100 for a party that started an hour prior to my arrival at the store. I had no choice but to grab pre made cakes for the over 50 guests and was assured the owner would call me the next day. NOTHING. I called corporate. NOTHING. I will pursue this with my cc comp and via other avenues, but the fact that any of this has to be done is ridiculous. Do not give this place your business. Bad service, workers shouldn't be afraid to break their nails when scooping ice cream. The amount of ice cream being scooped was not adequate, not my fault ice cream is hard to scoop, put some muscles Into it or get another job. Worst service I have ever experienced at any Baskin Robbins. Plenty of other places to but ice cream. Left angry and upset after having waited 20minutes, refused to pay $6 for a sundae with the equivalent of 1 scoop for what's supposed to be a 2 scoop sundae. Worker was lazy and didn't want to try very hard. Other worker defended her saying it's a kids scoop size, yes I understand, I've been going to basking Robbins for 20 years, but that was not even a kids size scoop either. Should hire some new workers who are passionate about serving people, not lazy workers who don't want to do their job.
