Malathi was helping me and gave me a lot of different options and worked with me on the design and style. I gave her some inspiration photos and some colors from the party. She took a picture of all of it for her records. They don't open until 11am on Sundays, but she said she would come in early in the morning that day so I could pick up the cake before the party at 9am. A+ service, and the cake??? Omg it was such a big win. All the kids LOVED IT! The toddlers were all over it. We went with chocolate mousse ice cream with white cake. Asked for lots of sprinkles and they delivered and it was just what I wanted plus more!!!! This is the best, get it here. And the ice cream cake was much more affordable than Paris baguette, and other custom cake places that I have ordered from, and obviously the kids like this more. I went here for the banana split special. The scoops were so small it drew attention from the other customers. The staff needs to be shown how to make a decent sized scoop for adults. They were definitely kid scoop sizes. I wouldn't recommend this store. There not consistent with there scoop sizes. Now the other employer that was helping someone else was scooping decent size scoops. The lady needs to do her training over. Prices are too high for baby scoops when there not serving kids. T H E G O O D S I was there to pick up an ice cream cake. They had a good variety of cakes esp. those that are 6-8 person and 10-12 person cakes. Unfortunately no 2-4 cakes which I was aiming for, but hey, more cake for me. There were a couple that did have "Happy Birthday" which I get is popular. I wish they had more neutral cake designs. But I did find one that was super pretty and fit what I needed. Also really glad it was Oreo ice cream with white cake. Just stopped for a banana split to go, asked for extra toppings and to put the topping on the side, so the already complaining about working there and was quitting soon to be a plumber, employee asked if I wanted the chocolate or hot fudge so I picked fudge, he packed and I paid and left. Got home and he sent no other toppings?? So I called and told him and he got really rude and was telling me "banana splits do not come with toppings unless you ask specifically"?? So I asked when the owners would be in to talk to them. There was no way for me to talk to the owners because they Never come in. WTF, so U push to have them call me. And he Refuses!! Update your hours! Walked in at 930p to a shop full of people eating and no line only to get rudely yelled at by a frazzled employee who yelled at us that they're closed. I proceeded to tell him that the hours posted on the door says they're open until 10p. He told me it's wrong and refused to serve us. Hours on yelp also reflected at 10p closing time. We were off work before 9:00 and this place closes at 10:00! The ice cream certainly tastes better than the supermarket tubs, and the experience and convenience are cool. Service is quick and it's cool to sit down like a restaurant experience. It was really cold outside and it was nice and warm in the store, a perfect indoor place for having ice cream with friends! We came in on Friday night past 9:00, and the people working were very nice, welcoming, and friendly! Here is what a double scoop now looks like at this location. Baby spoon and quarter for size reference. Gosh this store has gotten cheap, the management of this store charges separately for the cone, yes the manager at this store thinks the cone is not included in the single scoope price. What he wants to serve it to you in your hand. No where does it say the cone is extra. I understand the specialty cones cost extra but this store changes 60 cents if you want a standard cake coke for your scoop of ice cream. After having minor throat surgery the day before I was limited eating warm (not hot) smooth food for several days. After 3 days of 90+ degree heat some ice cream sounded good. After a long day of recouping in a non air conditioned house by the time was late and the only place open until 10 pm was 31 Flavors in Pleasanton about 5 miles away. (Other locations closer closed at 9, I'd never make it). Even with other customers I was served quickly by a lady Tara who'd only worked there about 2 weeks. I said I'd like a 3 scoop Sundae for my somewhat sore throat. Tara with much ambition was happy to show me the smoothest hopefully most comfortable flavors for my condition. Okay. So I chose Pralenes and Cream, Nutty Coconut and Toasted Almond ice creams. Tara went over the toppings to make sure she didn't miss anything but I went with my old standards; hot fudge, Marshmellow, whip cream, cherries and Lots of Nuts (what was I thinking???). Tara was exceptional in giving me generous scoops and plenty of toppings. At just under $10 bucks for ice cream you'd think I was crazy but a few weeks ago the yogurt place by Safeway in Dublin charged $15 bucks for about the same quantity but charged by weight. That was a Rip! My thanks to BR for being here at my time of need and Tara for her energy and professionalism. read more

I had the most disappointing and horrible experience in ordering a birthday cake at this location. I had ordered a photocake a week advanced for my little brother's 15th birthday, and I recieved approval call a few days later notifying me that their photocake printing machine is not working, which is totally fine, so I let the employee know on the phone the alternative design I wanted and what message I wanted written on the cake. He confirmed that the changes will be made. I send my brother to pickup the cake 3 days later, and we show them our order details. The man at the register was clueless and the cake wasn't even prepared. He said that their cake decorator was sick. Why wasn't I notified?!? If they had told me the same day or ahead of time I would have been okay so I can find another place to get a cake. They tell me this when we are trying to pick up the cake.... I ordered a half sheet size to serve 8-12 people with an oreo ice cream and white cake filling, but the just grabbed one of the pre-made cakes in the freezer that was the WRONG flavor, WRONG size(only 6-8 servings), WRONG design, and wrote the WRONG message after they had just asked my older brother to write on a piece of paper what words we wanted on the cake. He smudged the cake because he made a mistake in the first letter. I was utterly flabbergasted by the service and disorganization. I have tried to contact the store and it's manager but it seems like they are trying to avoid this issue. They offered no refunds or apologies besides the sincere and apologetic worker on the phone who was being the messenger between the manager and I. I have yet to recieve my refund for the photo cake add-on I ordered. I never usually leave bad reviews on yelp, but this is just a warning to other customers who plan on buying a cake here. I'd recommend another baskin robbins nearby. I'm devastated and embarrassed at the product I received. I hope nobody has to experience this when picking up a cake for any special occasion. read more

Baskin Robbins continues to make great ice cream and my favorite flavors still taste delicious-mint chocolate chip, jamoca almond fudge...but I love many of the new flavors as well. We celebrated my sons 16th birthday during the SIP and he decided at the last minute that he would love a chocolate peanut butter ice cream cake. I'm a little tired of all these fancy places putting stuff in waffle fish and using "organic" ingredients and gold flakes sources from the foothills of the Himalayan mountains. Just give me my pistachio almond in a waffle cone and I'm happy. You know what else. The teen boppers that work here and almost always nice and accomodating. Once upon a time there was a real creep of a mom who accidentally scheduled her kids' flu shots on the same day and time as their virtual Halloween parties (2020). When I called to reschedule, the Pediatrician's office claimed that they may run out the vaccine. I don't even know if that's true, but I decided to go ahead with shots fired and end up a hero by taking everyone to Baskin Robbins. They have so many delicious tempting flavors, Sundae options, beverage choices, and really impressive ice cream cakes ready to go. The employees here are so friendly, combine that with tasty treats and it's a WIN. When we rolled in on "vaccination day" there was a young woman working there named Emily. Emily had a smile and upbeat music playing. She was extremely patient and welcoming while my younger 2 tried to concoct their masterpieces of complete and total indulgence. She was kind of dancing a little to the music, we all left dancing and we appreciate you Emily! Before I wrap it up, I'd like to also acknowledge another employee of theirs. My friend's daughter left her purse outside the store, and someone named (Kristen?) safely stashed it for us, when we called to inquire.
