What We Ordered: -1 Kids Scoop $4.59 -1 Single Scoop $5.69 -Double Scoop $7.89 Baskin-Robbins was offering a Parent Pass promotion for Reward Members where you could get a scoop of Ice Cream for $1.99. We went to this location to redeem the promotion. This store is much nicer than some of other locations in the area. It looks like it was recently re-done. There's a nice mural on the wall representing Rosemead and the SGV. That was cool! I decided to get a double scoop of Nutty Coconut and Pistachio Almond. It was a nut overload, but I loved it. My son got Very Berry Strawberry and he loved it! He also loves Strawberry Ice Cream. The Wife got some kind of matcha flavor Ice Cream. She liked it! The service was very friendly and helpful! The Baskin Robbins at this location has been around for awhile. It's a nice place to stop by for ice cream, and there's a good variety of flavors. If you want to sample any flavors, feel free to ask. When it comes to the cakes, I've always enjoyed a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake as it's one of my favorite places that makes ice cream cake. The employees are really nice here if you need help or have any questions. And If you want sit down to enjoy your ice cream, there's a few seatings available in-store. The female staff rarely smile and often come across as unapproachable. There's no sense of customer service, and using the app to accumulate visits feels pointless. On at least my last three visits, the girls repeatedly said the system was locked and couldn't record my visit. Even though my app was scanned each time, nothing was ever recorded. The only time I actually feel like a valued customer is when the guy is there. read more

I called in yesterday for a last-minute cake. Jon directed me to the website and I placed an order at around 4 PM. Apparently you have to give 24 hours in order to pick up the cake but when I called back, John helped me and said that he would put a note for the decorator that I needed it sooner around 12 PM. Shout out to John, he was really accommodating and helpful. And no, i don't know him, just writing this because I really like customer service like this. The staff were friendly and helpful with assisting me with ordering a birthday cake for my daughter- she wanted a princess cake. This cake was about $60ish, feeds around 15+ people. I came here two days ago and the guy who helped me was very sweet. I feel that they're very generous here. My toddler really wanted the huge waffle cone. So I asked the guy for it. He gave me the option," If you get the double scoop, waffle cone is free. Single cone, cone is 89 cents." I thought heck why not get an extra scoop. At least I didn't let the 89 cents "go to waste". I could've refused it but I'm thankful he gave me the option. When we checked out he gave me a scratcher card along with a coupon for $3 off any cake. So I came back today to redeem that coupon. My niece loved the cake, along with everyone else who got to enjoy it. I actually forgot my coupon but they were very generous to let me have $3 off anyway! The girls who helped me tonight were great and super sweet. I left feeling really happy. My brother even asked me," Which one did you go to? They even wrote her name and everything!" This will be the Baskin Robbins he's going to next time for ice cream cake. He has been to other locations and they don't do that for him. His kids love ice cream cake. I really like this place because they give big scoops and they're really friendly. The manager hires all asiann girls and they give very generous big size scoops. I went to the Montebello location and they have all mexiccan kids working there, and they are stingy af with their scoops and not friendly at all. I've talked with the owner of this San Gabriel location a few times and he's a very nice dude as well. Highly recommended. read more

Angelina was super helpful in making the order go through. The app was very frustrating. You need to wait for more than thirty minutes after you order if you order on the app. It has to wait for that long. It also frequently sign you out for no reasons. Despite the short wait that I encountered here, due to a number of customers who were deciding what to get, I was able to pickup my order that I had requested through Grubhub, and go to the next destination I needed to head to. Love this location. We order from this BR often and once or twice we've had a cone missing from our order - not a big deal, it happens. Last time we ordered, I made a note as a reminder for the cone. The location is in a strip mall next to the bigger 99 Ranch plaza and parking can be difficult to find especially top side but there is a underground parking lot next door. It can still get busy so you may have to park in that plaza and walk over on busy weekends. Just note this place is busy even in the weekday evenings. There are very few tables so if you are coming as a date/family, you may not find a table. The tables are also small so I wouldn't recommend a large group of more than 4. You order via a kiosk and for drinks they will call your order number. For souffle if you dine in, you can take a number stand and place on your table just like some McDonald's. Souffle is not bad and not too sweet especially with the original flavor.

Souffle pancakes in different occasions always look so pretty, are the best everyone's ever had, some some flavor profiles don't work. Maybe that's why the menu sometimes changes. For example the yuzu grape was completely bland because the yuzu drizzle on top was a thin line i couldn't taste at all. At least put a spread between each layer or pour a lot on top like the others (eg berry or mango). The mint leaves was the most potent flavor in this dish. Over the grapes, blueberries, matcha powder, yuzu. Got the mango triple layer drink this time and if you drink it carefully, you can appreciate the contrast from the mango puree, the milk, the creamy salted matcha. If you just mix it up completely you won't get that affect. One thing that bothers me is because the menu changes I seem to always be unable to get something I'm thinking of from the previous visit. I recall last time I had some mochi and rice ball I added to a drink that was so damn good and I couldn't add it this time. Though I recall that drink being $11.50 from the add ons. The souffle pancake was $21... so place is $$ but again the quality is there. Service wise, never interacted with staff really. Kiosk to order. Drinks just sit at counter when done. Didn't call numbers. Oh they did bring the pancake, no words spoken.

I was annoyed when they called my order but I was struggling to get through the shop to get my order. By that time the employee had walked away. I was annoyed because when she came back she completely ignored me and handed someone else their order and walked away. I don't understand why they keep the completed orders way behind the counter if they don't even verify the correct person is picking up... after being skipped over twice I finally cut in and interrupted the other employee for my order and she was like oh... sorry it's melted. Like yeah it's been sitting there and I didn't want to go into the employee area to get it! That was really irritating. The ube flavor was bland. It tasted like milk, I did not get any ube flavor. Order at the counter and you're out the door in less than a minute. The lava buns are the best and what I always get. Salted yolk is a must. All the flavors are delicious but black sesame and original are my favorite. They also sometimes have seasonal flavors and I see a lot of people get mooncake. There is parking in the back or a few spots on the street. I definitely recommend this place for a special treat.
