This Starbucks location is not bad, but there is some room for improvement. The drive-thru was a big upgrade. The inside of the store is moderately spacious with ample seating. It could be a decent spot for working or studying. My go-to drinks are the Iced Matcha Latte (smooth and creamy - perfect boost of caffeine) and Mango Dragonfruit Refresher (tropical and refreshing flavor - I'm a fan of the dragonfruit pieces). However, my only issue with the drinks is that they always add way too much ice even though I ask for less ice. The breakfast menu is pretty solid. I usually get the Egg, Pesto, and Mozzarella Breakfast Sandwich (fluffy egg frittata with kale, basil pesto, and mozzarella on a toasted cheddar and onion bun). There are also breakfast wraps, egg bites & egg bakes, yogurt, and oatmeal. For orders that are ready, employees will leave them on the counter, where anyone can grab them. Because of this, I've run into multiple situations before where someone accidentally took my order. Employees should have better oversight in this area. Highly recommend using the Starbucks app to collect rewards points and get a free drink of your choice on your birthday. It has taken me way too long to write a review. This is my regular Starbucks. Even before the move. The morning crew is the best! Always so pleasant and knows me by name, as well as other customers. Drinks that I receive are always consistent. The interior is clean, with ample space for work/school. I'm so glad they moved to a newer and bigger location with a drive thru. I still go inside because it's faster when you do a pick up order rather than wait for those ordering at the drive thru. They have order pick up parking right in front. So it's quick. This spot used to be across the street in a smaller building. Now that it's moved across to where the Burger King used to be, they've made some improvements that are quite exceptional for better and faster service. They've added a drive thru which is pretty ideal considering how busy this specific Starbucks can get. The negative about the drive thru is that it's not very spacious. Ironic since they added more space. The entrance is good but the exit of the drive thru is not very ideal. There's a middle block by the ramp that makes it harder to maneuver around if you're turning right. You can also turn left but can get blocked if there's a lot of drivers lining up for the drive thru. Parking here is less than ideal when busy, compared to when they were on the other side of the street, there were plenty of parking around, including the connecting plaza. Now, it's a lot with limited parking. The interior is quite nice, a lot more spacious and standing room. There's a bigger area for the drinks that are ready which is pretty ideal. Staff here is friendly when I've visited and ordering on the app is even better to avoid wait times. My go to drink here is the matcha latte both cold and hot as they're perfect for most occasions. Pretty standard matcha, decently well made and always refreshing. The hot matcha latte is underrated in my opinion as it's a nice option on a colder day. Overall, many improvements and plenty of renovations that can be improved on. Drinks wise is same as before, very standardized. read more

Very cute and cozy place. Nice beats/radio music, similar to pop bar/club vibe. All the stagg were kind and efficient, Yazzy helped us with our order. Tasted like a well made Starbucks drink. Initial drink was made in error (shaken when I ordered no ice), so staff apologized and gave me the iced one for free while making the correct order, which was a nice way to reduce food waste. I am writing to provide feedback about my recent experience at your Starbucks location. On june 12 ,2026 approximately time 9:25 am I ordered four drinks, with some modifications including extra cold foam and extra oatmilk on two of the drinks. When I received my order, I noticed that the drinks had a lot of ice and not enough cold foam. I politely asked if a little more foam could be added and if some ice could be adjusted. Instead of simply helping with the request, I was told that the drink "does not fit" because of extra milk, oatmilk, and foam. However, only two of the drinks had extra oatmilk, and the rest were standard. I felt like my request was being blamed on me rather than being understood. I was only asking for a small adjustment to the drinks I had already paid for. The conversation continued in a way that felt dismissive and unhelpful. I was told multiple times about the drink structure and that it could not fit everything, even though I was only asking for a small change. I was also told the store was very busy and was asked to look at the screen showing other orders. I understand the store can be busy, but the tone and communication made me feel rushed and not respected as a customer. At one point, I was offered a $4 gift card, which I returned because my concern was not about compensation -- it was about how I was treated during the interaction. I was trying to resolve the issue quickly because I was already late for work. What made this experience especially disappointing is that I have been a customer of this Starbucks location for many years, including before it moved across the street. In all that time, I have never had this kind of interaction. That is why this experience stood out so strongly to me. I am sharing this feedback because I believe customers should be treated with patience and respect when they have concerns about their orders, especially when they are paying for customizations. This is our go-to Starbucks near our home. There's not much seating inside, but there's some seating outside where the old guys hang out and drink coffee and chat. This is more of a spot to grab and go. This is a pretty busy location where the orders are sometimes piled up. If you can't find your coffee, they can remake it for you. The other day I had a mobile order at Starbucks that went to the wrong location. When I got to the right Starbucks, the drinks that I ordered were watered down. I really hope I got that right because I want to thank her for being completely helpful, friendly, and totally understanding. She was able to remake my drinks and made me feel like I was not bothering. I know it was cause it was my mistake, but she said it was OK. RUDE EMPLOYEE!!!!! I came to purchase a gift card and went through the drive thru for it. I didn't know that I had to let them know in the speaker that I was going to order the gift card. I just passed to the window. The gentleman that was helping me was nice (Asian gentleman) but out of nowhere this Hispanic girl with the headset on came to the window made a couple of comments about me not letting them know at the speaker about the gift card and then she says in a RUDE, NASTY TONE "DONT DO THAT THAT AGAIN" and slammed the window shut on me. Attention, USC fans! This Starbucks location sells the California, Los Angeles, and USC mugs. I purchased a USC mug, and there were a couple more on display. As for the drinks, they were standard. The prices have definitely risen due to inflation, though. Just note that you need to ask for straws as there aren't any near the counter. read more

Very patient customer service here. Only a few people working behind the scene, so if there is a line you're gonna have to wait at least 20 min for your drink. Came here on a BOGO afternoon and there's 10 ppl in line when I got in. No drive through despite google saying there is. Parking is tight but people do move out. You just lost a daily customer with switching your clear plastic cups to paper. I went to buy my boss a valentines drink yesterday and bought it because it was pink. The drink was in a paper cup you could not even see what it was. My ice tea had soaked through the cup after a couple of hours. And the new lid to my coffee made it impossible to sip. What are you thinking? Save a few bucks to loose customers? Even if this was an environmental issue, you could come up with a better solution to see what is inside. I literally live across the street from the Starbucks it's so disappointing to see this Starbucks service downgrade because it's always taking forever in drive-through to get your coffee I literally drive 10 minutes to another Starbucks to get my coffee cuz this Starbucks for some reason takes forever when you're in drive-thru you literally will not move for like the next 15 to 20 minutes they can definitely improve or bring more senior baristas to help push lines. read more

I had a really disappointing experience at this location that made me not want to come back -- and it wasn't even about how my drink was made, but the complete lack of customer service. I first came by yesterday, but they weren't accepting Apple Pay, cards, or mobile orders due to a worldwide outage, which I totally understood. So today, I called ahead to ask if things were back to normal. The girl on the phone said yes, so I placed a mobile order around 12 p.m. When I got to the store, I noticed my iced mocha was missing the whip cream (which I hadn't asked to remove). I went to the handoff area and said "excuse me," but no one acknowledged me. There was a girl on cold bar with her back turned, not even glancing to see who was there, and another on hot bar who was facing me but didn't bother to ask if I needed help. Everyone seemed too busy to notice me, even though it wasn't crowded at all -- just two cars in the drive-thru and I was the only one waiting inside. I ended up walking over to the cashier and asked if she could help me add whip. She told me, "I'm actually not clocked in, but they can help you," and pointed back to the baristas. In my head, I couldn't help but think, "Then why are you standing at the front?" I went back to the handoff area and stood there for over three minutes, still completely ignored. The girl who wasn't clocked in walked over to make her own drink (which I know the policy is you are not allowed to ring yourself and even to make your own drink) but never said a word to her coworkers about me needing help. So I called out to her again and asked if she could add whip, and she just told me, "You can talk to them." At that point, I was frustrated and asked who the lead was. She pointed to the girl on hot bar, who finally turned and asked, "How can I help you?" It turns out she had been the supervisor the whole time, and the one who made my drink, yet didn't step in to help until I specifically asked for the lead. They finally added whip to my drink, and I left. Afterwards, I called to ask for the general manager's name (Meghan ) and the lead's name (Ariel). Clearly, the management and team need more training in customer service. As a former Starbucks partner, I know you should always acknowledge anyone standing at the handoff, even when you're busy. If you want a quick drink, you might get it here since they aren't busy. But if they make a mistake, don't expect them to help you fix it. When I finally got to the pick up window, my drink was disgusting looking and I had to ask for it to be remade. It was so disappointing to know that they were willing to hand me a gross product and not care. Honestly Starbucks has always been my last choice for coffee but since moving back from Seattle there are not a lot of great options for coffee like there is in Seattle. This is the closest Starbucks to me and though they are super great in customer service, I've been experiencing some issues with their drinks. Thought maybe it's a fluke but I went back and ordered the same drink a few times and it's their Matcha that they have horrible skills in making. This was mostly foam and then cold foam on top straight from the window weighed like two ounces... good ambiance and service just don't get matcha here. Also side note for the drop on 11/6 I drove by and there was one of their employees outside telling customers he was buying the rest of the drop once the first three people went in. This employee stood there telling everyone to go home since it was one at a time and he would buy the rest. Later heard from a friend it was in fact not one at a time and he was just spreading lies to get people to leave. I believe baristas should get first dibs on drops but to wait like everyone else and lie to people because you work for that exact store is not good faith. read more

Today, I re-visited this local Starbucks in Rosemead. I am so glad that I did. Today, I met Andrea she is the manager. She made me feel like my life mattered. This is how. So, they are practicing physical distancing and requiring face coverings. I did not realize I had entered without a face covering. But, Andrea noticed. She asked me if I could use a face covering. I did not have one. I said YES! I. Whew! Then, she helped me with my order be sure I got it right. When she realized that I ordered a drink smaller than I wanted. What's up: We were on one of our runs and we thought it would be a good idea to stop by and grab a cold drink. This Starbucks was along our route so we placed a Mobile Order ahead of time. Parking: The store is located in the corner location of a strip mall, where Garvey Ave and San Gabriel Blvd meets. The parking situation can be difficult since it's shared amongst the other businesses nearby. If it's full, you can try parking in the lot between the CVS and the Hoa Binh Rosemead Supermarket. Environment: The order counter is towards the left and the seats are towards the right. There are tables and counter seating. Usually it's very busy and the seats are occupied, but we managed to find an open table near the back. The restrooms are in the back, towards the right. This location does not have a drive thru. What was ordered: Iced Cold Brew (light ice and tasted as expected). Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. Picking up the order was East and convenient due to the Mobile Order.
