Picked up a birthday cake here recently and was happy with the purchase. There was no line when I went so I was able to pick a pre-made cake in the fridge and pay right away. The service was fast and friendly and they were able to nicely decorate the cake with "happy birthday". I got the strawberry ice cream with white cake. Sunday evening @ 7PM, 11/21 called to find out when they close. Website says 10PM but we understand winter hours may differ. Girl who answered my call said they would close at 9:30PM, so we felt safe to show at 9:05PM. Upon arrival we were told by the girl mopping the floor that they were closed. Kind girl behind the counter took our order anyway. As we were leaving in our car we watched a man with a couple of kids who were there for ice cream. We hope they weren't turned away. Great deal on the 31st of the month, $1.31 per scoop. I take my son here only when there is a promo since it gets expensive paying regular price just for ice cream. I love the variety of flavors. My favorite is the mint chocolate chip. I usually don't like mint chocolate chip but I really like baskin robbins because the chocolate bits are finely grated. Very disappointed in the size of our ice cream scoops today. There was maybe an inch sticking out of the cone and no ice cream in the cone. The "regular" scoop was smaller than the "kid" scoops we got for the kids. Very stingy! We won't be returning. BR is Belmont is much more generous with their portions. read more

Lame lame soft serve. I'm a huge soft serve ice cream fan and was excited to see that Baskin Robbins now offers it and finally had a chance to try it. SO DISAPPOINTED. It was not smooth and more on the icy side. And the soft serve cone was pricey ($1.98 for a tiny wimpy kid's portion, $2.38 for a regular size). It tasted okay but wasn't a creamy delight. Bottom line: Service was fine and reasonably responsive here but thumbs down on BR soft serve. You'll get much better soft serve at McDonald's for half the price. This is the place to get an ice cream cake if you want one. I had called around for a last minute order and this was the only store that could turn around a custom cake in one day. All the other stores were about a three day lead time. The flavors were standard Baskin Robbins but I was very pleased with the service when I placed the order and the quality of the decorating. Their ice cream cake refrigerator is much larger than what I have seen at other stores, so they must do good business in this product to keep such a large pre-made inventory.
