They sent me to Enterprise, who had no clue what was going on and turned me away. I called over and over and kept hearing "your case has been escalated," but no one ever contacted me. No car. No support. No compassion. I've been a loyal customer for six years, and this is how I was treated. I will not be renting from National again, and I want others to be aware of how little support you may receive when something goes wrong.

My experiences have all been good at this location, but my last visit was exceptional. When I arrived at the Emerald aisle, I was immediately helped by Mr. Jadon. He was kind, and quick to help. When I asked for a specific vehicle, I wasn't very hopeful. I usually do a quick search of the Emerald aisle and if there's no vehicle that I specifically want, I tend to just grab whatever. This time I required a four-wheel-drive.. Jaden did not have to go out of his way to help me find what I was looking for, but he did so anyway, and he did it with a good attitude. Maybe the bar is on the floor for most of my experiences with employees, but Jadon went above and beyond to assist me, I was happy to get the vehicle that I wanted, but I travel enough that that's not enough to qualify going out of my way to spend the time too right a review. His customer service was exceptional. I wish more people had his work ethic. It's rare these days. Jadon, if you're reading this, I appreciate you dude.

This office has many repeat clients who return specifically because of the professional courtesy and service provided by Caleb. Caleb is patient, knowledgeable, and consistently professional in the way he assists customers. I have personally witnessed him go the extra mile to help clients. For example, when a customer requests a specific vehicle, Caleb will call other Hertz locations to see if they can accommodate the request so the client receives the car they want. Marcos, who previously worked at this location, was also part of a great team. He has since moved on to another job and is missed. Enterprise provided the worst customer service I've ever experienced…read more On July 17, I called the Enterprise location in Bloomsburg, PA, around 10:40 a.m. and spoke with a male employee. He confirmed that a 7-passenger Tahoe or similar SUV would be available for pickup at 9:00 a.m. on July 18, with a return at 9:00 a.m. on July 20, for $241. I gave him both my phone number and my mother's phone number. I immediately received a confirmation email, so I assumed everything was set. Around 3:30 p.m., I decided to stop by the office just to make sure all of our luggage would fit in the Tahoe. When I arrived, I was told there was no large SUV or van available for July 18. The employee claimed they had tried to call us, but both of our numbers were "out of service." That was simply not true. My phone received eight other calls between 11:14 a.m. and 3:19 p.m., but not a single call from Enterprise. My mother didn't receive any calls either. Trying to save our family trip, my uncle called the Enterprise location in Shamokin and was able to reserve a similar SUV. This reservation required pickup on July 17 before their 6:00 p.m. closing time, and the price was higher--$301. After receiving the confirmation email, he rushed home from work, and we immediately left for Shamokin, a 45-minute drive from Bloomsburg. Our ETA was 5:52 p.m. Around 5:35 p.m., my uncle called the Shamokin office to let them know we were on our way. That's when the employee informed him that they also did not have a large SUV available. So despite receiving two confirmation emails from two different Enterprise locations, we ended up with no vehicle at all for our July 18 trip. The explanation we kept receiving was that a third party handles the reservations and that the local offices have nothing to do with them. That raises an obvious question: Why is Enterprise allowing customers to reserve vehicles that don't actually exist? If a third party is making reservations, shouldn't Enterprise ensure those reservations are accurate before confirming them? Had I not stopped by the Bloomsburg office that afternoon, we would have shown up at 9:00 the next morning expecting a vehicle that was never available. We would have discovered the problem only minutes before our trip. What would Enterprise have done then? Would anyone have taken responsibility? Would they have found us another vehicle? Or would we have simply been told, once again, that there was nothing they could do? This entire experience was frustrating, stressful, and completely avoidable. A reservation confirmation should actually mean that a vehicle has been reserved. Customers should not have to discover on their own that their confirmed reservation doesn't exist.
