I do not remember seeing on their menu, but single serving is available for $5.75. I got orange blossom and the flavor was on spot. I believe they do rotate their flavors so make sure you try their flavors before making the decision! Only couple chairs outside are available.

I really enjoyed the ice cream af Saffron and Rose. The caramel crunch is a really nice flavor, they were very generous and allowed my friends to try a bunch of flavors. My friends got vanilla fully loaded/fig cranberry, the other got regular vanilla/tarot. We all felt very happy. The service was nice but I will say that thing we're moving pretty slowly in there, but it's also kind of a small place, so I wasn't too surprised. Maybe next time I'll try another flavor, but it was a good place to grab yummy ice cream after a nice day at the beach. We walked down to sit on the benches near the beach to enjoy!

I saw this place had a following from their original location so I had to stop in. The place is very small however, the flavors were pretty good. I tried their pistachio saffron, which I would say is the best option. The girls in the front were very nice and quick when it came to being able to try different flavors before ordering. It was definitely a different type of ice cream than what I'm use to. The ambiance was very old school counter shop ice cream, like mom and pop vibes. Looking forward to trying their new flavors!

I came here on a Saturday around 2 PM needing some relief from the heat. Ive been wanting to try this spot for a while so I was pleased there was a location in Del Mar. I tried 3 different flavors but the employee seemed a bit displeased with my desire to try the unique flavors. I felt like an inconvenience in some way. I decided to go for 2/3 of the flavors I tasted. My favorite was the ube taro one as the flavor was mild. The jasmine was good but got a bit too sweet after a while.

Delicious and unique ice creams! I especially liked the date and passionfruit ice cream. The staff is kind and if there is not a long line, they will give you samples to help you decide. Definitely would like to come back.

Really delicious ice cream! I especially loved the pistachio because it actually has pieces of pistachios in it, which makes such a difference. A lot of places have pistachio-flavored ice cream without any actual nuts, but this one was great. My other favorite is the almond flavor -- I think almond might actually be my new favorite! The location is also perfect for grabbing ice cream and enjoying the sunset nearby.

On our way back to LA from SD we wanted some ice cream. Did a quick Yelp search- Saffron and Rose, what are you doing here?! So excited to see them pop up and had to grab some scoops. I always love the Nutella flavor and paired it with the coffee. The staff were very friendly yet efficient with the long line (they deserve all the love!). Make sure to do some testers before you decide on your flavs! The small size is big enough for me. This location is on such a charming street in Del Mar. We were easily able to find parking as it was later at night and took our dessert on a little evening walk by the beach. Perfect end to my SD getaway.

My friends and I were craving for some ice cream while we were enjoying the sunset at the del mar beach. After a quick yelp search, we found this spot! We parked at the del mar plaza because they have free one hour parking. As soon as we walked up the ice cream place, we found a long line but decided to stick around. The line moved fairly quickly. As soon as we entered the place, we were excited to see so many flavors. The server was gracious enough to let us try some flavors before choosing the one! I got the saffron pistachio and white rose. My husband got chocolate and passion fruit. They also had an option to get waffle cone but we got the normal cup. The ice cream itself was very flavorful and yummy. It was the right amount of sweetness. We liked how they had interesting persian flavors. I highly recommend checking out this spot if you are craving for some yummy ice cream.

We were in the mood for a sweet treat after brunch. The service was very fast. The inside doesn't have seating so you order to go. There are no tables. They have lots of unique flavors to choose from. Not the best ice cream shop in town but great for a quick treat.

PERSIAN GELATO (3 stars) I prefer Italian gelato. - GELATO, ok - PRICE, ok - SERVICE, good but line moves extremely slow - AMBIANCE, tiny Never had Persian Gelato and my expectations fell flat. Yes, you can sample the flavors and there were flavors I were excited to try only to feel the flavors weee too light and nothing really stood out. Also, the smaller board they post didn't have all the flavors available behind the glass case. 2 SCOOPS ($7.50) - after sampling several, I went for "safe" and picked Nutella and Pomegranate. The Pomegranate was nice - light with its sweet and tartness and it paired well with a chocolate, however my first choice of chocolate wasn't available and settled for Nutella. After eating 1/4 of the small bowl, I was over it (not easy to say for someone who loves ice cream and gelato). There are other gelato and ice cream shops to be hand in the neighborhood. Until the next review....

First time here and it was a positive experience ! Many varieties of ice cream to choose from and samples were offered by the friendly staffer Caitlyn ! Prices reasonable and the portion size good - I would definitely return !

Good persian ice cream, I loved the fig & cranberry and the saffron pistachio. PS Free Gaza

In the mood for a cool treat, but tired of your typical ice cream (nah... that stuff never gets old!), we'll, if you're in Del Mar, then is is a must-try dessert shop. So many fresh flavors like orange blossom, pomegranate, and white rose, plus mango, cookies and cream and of course vanilla! This is a small place... we had a line out the door in the early afternoon, and there was only a single worker while we were there, so be prepared for a wait! It's not gelato and it's not Italian ice... it's Persian ice cream, and it's amazing! We've tried mango, passion fruit, coconut, and coffee. All delicious... can't wait to go back to try some other flavors!

It is located in Solana Beach , beautiful open setting with outdoor seating right next to gorgeous fountain. They have a nice size parking lot next to it. We got the Opera and Pistachio flavors and honestly it was really really good, both were super tasty, very quality. It had a creamy milky thick texture to it and it wasn't overly sweet like American ice cream but it was definitely sweet and delectable - fine dining / upscale dessert vibes. Of course this is top-tier gelato, with a rich and creamy consistency, bursting with flavor. The part that impressed me the most is their variety in flavors. They had many different great flavors to choose from with few that are rotating, so it's great to try new ones. They also have vegan options too. The employees are extremely friendly and assist with suggestions for flavor combinations. We have felt very welcomed and appreciated. This would have been an average San Diego coffee shop experience for me, except for the fact that I absolutely LOVED the cherry bomb! It's a cherry mocha and essentially a perfect drink for me. Back in 2019, Starbucks had a seasonal cherry mocha for Valentine's Day that I was obsessed with. Apparently I was the only one, because they haven't brought it back since. Cherry mochas are hard to come by, and I haven't really encountered another one. This one was delicious! The espresso was bold, the milk perfectly creamy, and the overall taste not too sweet (unlike Starbucks'). Wow!! I can already tell this will be a drink I daydream about. Unfortunately it was $7.50, which will prevent me from indulging very regularly. The rest of the menu is pricey too, with avocado toasts nearly reaching $20. (I may be a millennial, but I can certainly understand the negative stereotype when I see coffee shop prices like these.) Besides pricing, the other downside of this place is the limited seating. There were only 4 small outdoor tables, so unless you're with just one other person and you arrive before 10am, I'd suggest grabbing your coffee to go and taking a walk. My friend and I sat down, since there were open tables when we arrived. She enjoyed her iced honey cinnamon latte. If you love a cherry mocha or are looking for coffee in the design district, definitely come through!
