Batch & Box has the thickest/fluffiest cookies, which I like. I like when they have volume to it. I hate flat cookies because it's too crunchy but B&B is soft, chewy and gooey in the middle. Not sure why they have this location next to the Del Mar location, should have gone further North into Carlsbad so that it's easier access for us! lol. Us North Counties need some good cookie shops too. I hate this UTC location because it's out of the way to the far east right corner, not where the main food court area. Anyway, got their special flavor of the month, which was the Dubai and a regular chocolate chip cookie. The Dubai was super super rich, you need to take it home and eat it with milk. We ate half and saved the other half for the next day. Their chocolate chip cookie was like 4 cookies stacked on top of each other. Very gooey and rich. Not stingy on the chocolate. If there was one in North County, Carlsbad, SM or Oside, I would most likely choose over Crumbl. So this is a far drive and only when I'm in the area. A bit pricey for 1 cookie, but that 1 you can eat in 2 servings.

There's no Levain in SD but Batch & Box will do! The classic was actually really good. I love these thick cookies because the exterior is nicely crisp while the interior is soft and gooey. It wasn't too sweet, and in fact, it had some salt on the top and I really enjoyed the hints of saltiness it added. It helped balance the cookie out. The gentleman was a tad bit too sweet for me. I know dark chocolate is healthier, but I still prefer my milk chocolate... I want to come back to try their other flavors!

Located inside UTC. It's still one of my favorite places to get cookies. Not only their classic flavors but their seasonal ones are usually good, too. And, of course, friendly staff.

Cookies: In general, the cookies are big in size and packed with "layers" (not actual layers) of flavor The Classic (8/10) - perfect plump cookie with a touch of salt. i love a salted taste on chocolate chip cookies. it had a lot of chocolate chips too! The Cocoa PB (8.5/10) - loved the peanut butter chunks in the cookie! the combo between the cocoa and pb somehow balanced each other out very well. The Doodle (7/10) - it's like a snickerdoodle and very cinnamony. felt like fall flavors which is perfect in season right now. The Dubai (6.5/10) - super sweet and definitely for those who have sweet tooth or love chocolate! half of the cookie is covered in melted chocolate sprinkled with pistachios. HUGE cookie though. The Dubai Brownie (7/10) - had a crispy pistachio cream at the top and a drizzle of what i assume is white chocolate. this one's super sweet in my opinion so if you love sweets this is great for you. i loved the texture of this one a lot with the mix of crunch and softness. Midnight Blossom (7.5/10) - i love berries so this was great for me. it also had white chocolate chips and wasn't as sweet as others. it had a balanced flavor and taste. Service: Super friendly, conversational, and helpful staff here! Ambiance: Very bright and small store that's minimally decorated but still cute. Pretty clean and has a big window where you can see the kitchen. Lots of people will make a stop from this store when I visited.

Located by Blue Bottle at UTC in San Diego, Batch & Box offers unique cookie flavors. The cookies are thick and crispy. I went with their Classic Chocolate Chip and their "Pink Lady", which is their Strawberries and cream flavor. Cost was a little more than $5 per cookie. The boxing looks premium, which makes for a nice, casual "just because" gift. I prefer warm, fresh-baked cookies with a nice chew, so these thick, crispy cookies are not what I prefer; however, the unique flavors and premium ingredients make it hard to pass up.

Their cookies are my favorite. I will say they are a bit pricey, but I personally really enjoy them. We ordered the Dubai chocolate cookies and the chocolate chip for one of our gatherings, and our friends loved them. The chocolate is extremely rich, and the cookie itself is not overly sweet. It is just right!

Batch & Box @ UTC LA JOLLA Parking is available for free for the first two hours. Passing by Batch & Box made me walk straight in, the smell was UNBELIEVABLE. My boyfriend and I walked in and they were pretty busy with only two staff members available. There was samples on the far left side, not sure why it was hidden from the room of customers walking in, it was more in the corner and was self serve. Customer service could've been worked on, no one greeted or really asked if we had questions. It was like just blank stare awaiting for people to order then leave. We decided to get the their most popular cookie that had I believe was called the pink lady? Not too sure. But it was the only one that spoke differently on the menu, it had raspberries and white chocolate chip inside. Taking a bite was magical, I loved EVERY single bite, it was warm and so flavorful. The price of each cookie is about $5. Overall, I will definitely be back to this place. It is pricey for just a cookie, but this is way better than any cookie i've ever had. So flavorful and unique! Hopefully the workers will be friendly and greet next time, especially to the first timers!

Cute small cookie store next to Blue Bottle in UTC. We were drawn by a sign attracting a dubai chocolate cookie and came in to order a single cookie of that. Price is pretty high for a cookie, I believe $5-6 for a single. The cookie had a chocolate dough and pistachio katalfi filling. Crunchy and very unique!! We ate it with our coffee. They have other unique cookies , recommend trying them out.

The same as the batch & box in Del Mar, delicious as always. I finally got to try the Dubai Chocolate cookie and my kids wanted the frosted sugar cookie (which would be my last choice but they love it). I love Dubai chocolate anything, and while this was just as good as all the other flavors, I just prefer the original chocolate chip or the gentleman (double chocolate chip). Slightly crispy edges but perfectly soft on the inside. The staff were friendly, patient and helpful as always and it's clean and simple inside. I like that you can see into where they make the cookies. It's located on the outside perimeter of utc mall so perfect for picking up cookies on your way out. One of the best cookies!

Cute little cookie shop located on the outside of the Westfield mall. Service was great, and the cookies were amazing! I do wish there was seating available to enjoy the cookies. Inside was clean and well maintained.

Gourmet cookies! We love the rotating flavors but also the staples as well. It's nice to just walk in and out whenever we have a sweet craving. A bit pricey per cookie, but worth it! We prefer this place over Crumbl.

Ordered 4 dozen cookies and everyone was raving about them! These were the best cookies I've had and ended up ordering some for my company's meeting. I started off by ordering 2 dozen online but added on another 2 dozen when we realized there would be more people. There was a miscommunication on their end and the driver ended up only delivering 2 dozen, but I called and they were super quick to fix the issue and had one of their workers deliver the second half! I love this place and will continue to come by and buy cookies. I was introduced to this from the free birthday treat they had and it was so delicious!

One of our fave cookie spots. Better than crumbl and comparable to levain. Our fave cookie is ther wonder cookie but too bad they haven't had this in a while! Came on a Sunday night towards closing. I say better to come earlier coz I feel like their cookies aren't as fresh and has been sitting on the counter. We got their half dozen but didn't realize or was told that some of the cookies were $1.50 extra so some of em can be $6-7 which is pretty steep. Overall solid cookie. Just some things that can be improved on

Beautiful to for all your senses. Now I will have to find the quickest route of Ramona to La Jolla, just to enjoy these delicacies more often.

Big fan of Hinar's desserts and matcha! I've tried their Biscoff matcha and their earl grey matcha,…read moreand they were both super yummy. They do pre-batch their matcha, but I enjoyed it despite being on the milkier and sweeter side. Their desserts don't disappoint either! Their Biscoff cheesecake and raspberry cheesecake were super delicious. The service was great, and you pick up your drinks at the counter. There's not much seating in the front, however, the back does offer more seating. The decor is aesthetically pleasing, and is perfect for pictures. Expected of downtown, there's a small amount of metered parking at the front of the store, but otherwise you'll have to find street parking. Heads up for those looking for a study spot, there weren't many outlets for charging. For those that are looking for easier parking options, I recommend that you visit their Scripps Ranch location!

The girls in front of us said it was their second time there that week and recommended the Biscoff matcha, so of course I had to try it. The shop itself is beautiful. While you're waiting in line, you can stare at all the delicious-looking cakes in the glass case, and the back room is gorgeous--open and bright with tons of plants and natural light. It almost feels like you're sitting in a greenhouse. I ordered the Biscoff matcha and my husband got the Biscoff latte. My matcha was good and I really liked how creamy it was without feeling too heavy. The matcha itself was a little boring and didn't have a ton of flavor, but the Biscoff was light and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. My husband enjoyed his latte but said afterward that he wished he had tried the pistachio instead. I'd definitely like to come back on a weekday when it's hopefully a little less busy and crowded. I would say the ambiance was the best thing out of our experience. Next time we're both going pistachio--matcha for me and latte for him!
