I'm giving this restaurant a 4/5 because I visited for a work event. We had about thirty people, and we were given a private room in the back, which was great because it allowed us to mingle without disturbing other customers. Since it was a large party, we had a fixed menu with two steak options or salmon. I chose a medium-rare steak, which was delicious, and all the sides were equally tasty. For dessert, we had a variety of options, and we didn't have any complaints. The only thing that would have been nice is if the server gave recommendations and engaged in conversation with us. However, I think that was lacking due to the large party size. I'm definitely planning to return with a smaller group in the future.

What a handsome restaurant with a relaxing vibe! We were welcomed by friendly employees, and our server couldn't have been more helpful! This was the perfect celebratory spot to treat our son for his birthday dinner. Bones even printed custom menus complete with a "Happy Birthday Robert" cover and sprinkled party confetti on the table center. Our perfectly crafted Martinis got the evening started! Dinner details: *According to our server the Lobster Bisque is a favorite, so Yes, Please! It was creamy, full of bits of lobster and hit the spot on this cool January evening. A reorder. *The signature Bones salad was a hit, too. Fresh bite size Bibb lettuce greens were tossed with crumbled Stilton blue cheese, Granny Smith apple slices, toasted pistachios and their vinaigrette. Delish! *My entree of 8 oz. Beef tenderloin was cooked perfectly to requested medium. I would forgo the Au Poivre (black pepper) topping in the future. While I love this spice, it was generously caked on my filet and was overpowering. I actually scrapped off the excess and shared with others that wanted to try it on their steak. There was so much on my steak that I was able to share with several at our table. See photo. Shared sides: *Another must try according to our server was the Hash Browns. Everyone at our table enjoyed this side of grated potatoes formed into a large Hash Brown patty, cooked to a lovely crispy exterior, tender interior and topped with a large dollop of sour cream. A reorder next time. *The onion rings were large, crispy and beautifully stacked when brought to the table. They were good, but I think I'd save the calories and not reorder this shared side. *Another side recommended as a customer favorite was the Corn Pudding. If you order this slightly sweet leaning side dish think bread pudding with corn throughout. Not one person at our table liked it, and we would not reorder this Bones favorite again. Bones kindly served our son a generous slice of layered ice cream cake complete with a birthday candle. It was such a large slice Robert let us all have a bite. It was fantastic! I'd order this in the future! I look forward to returning sooner than later!

Ok, I am guessing this has been covered in any reviews but we had one of the best experiences celebrating my dad's milestone bday. I booked a private room in advance and there was no extra charge or minimum. Room was awesome, with custom menus, decorations, and made it much easier to carry on a conversation. Service could not have been better, not intrusive but on top of everything with a smile. The bread ? Could have eaten just that, but everything we ordered was perfect, salads (they suggested splitting or half salads which was perfect), meats cooked to perfection, and the complimentary dessert was enough for our party of 5. No wonder this place is an institution!

Tonight was my mom's birthday, and tomorrow is my father's so I gave them a choice of where they wanted to go, they chose to go to Bones! Really excited because I love it here. We started off with the peach mule, and a Manhattan for my dad. Got a bottle of red and we were odd! Michael our server was incredible, professional, friendly and helpful. The entire team here makes everyone feel very special. First out was their house-made bread. Crunchy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. So addictive! Wedge for my dad, I split the bones salad with my mom and it was killer! I didn't think I'd like the Bibb lettuce but it had just enough crunch and incredible flavor. I ended up picking at my dad's wedge at the end, got all of the goodies. All three of us got steaks. Two bone in ribeyes- I had au poivre, one had NY Strip. Our sides were the spinach, mushrooms, and their famous hash browns. I have not seen my parents eat as much as they did tonight. We still had a lot left over, and I want to point out that every steak was nailed, cooked exactly how it was ordered. The au poivre sauce was so good, peppercorn crusted and the demi was super rich. I should've asked for another side to go! They came out with a giant piece of their mountain high pie for dessert, a blue candle for my dad and a pink one for my mom. Special touch. Many thanks to everyone here at Bones. From the valet to the runners, everyone treated us like we were family. I cannot thank them enough for making my mom and dad's birthday dinner so special.

Hard to say anything bad about Bones. The food was solid with reasonably priced cocktails. Bones however stands out with their attention to detail with the service they provide with many on staff having worked there for some time. You can tell how long they've worked there by the number of stars in their uniform with each star representing a five year period. Bones has typical old school steakhouse vibes. Would have preferred to have had more than one dry aged choice (ribeye)

Been here twice, once on a first date a decade ago and again recently. It's a classic steak house that does the classics very well. Excellent Manhattan cocktail. Excellent wedge salad. Excellent New York strip. Excellent mile-high pie. Excellent service. Nothing I don't love about it.

$$$$$ 3/5/25 Every year, my daughter and I have visited Bones the first week of March. It is to celebrate the fact that we made it through another February! Yes, there is a story behind that, but that is for another time and another place. This is year three of having dinner at Bones, and to our delight it was just as fabulous as a previous two years. As always, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is genuine and warm. I might have mentioned this before, but for the ladies... The bathrooms are clean, private, and just worth a visit! Our server did not hurry us through dinner, and he, and all who watched over us, were very attentive. We were there for well over an hour, but never felt like they wanted us to leave. There is a bar in the front area of bones, where you can catch a drink before your table is ready... as well as some seating with comfortable chairs and high tables for sipping on your drink. The food is incredible, and I always end up taking something home. And, save room for dessert... they are off the charts! Enjoy your evening, travel safely, and make great memories!

In the men's room. Not sure what the bulldog is about to get from the schnauzer but Bones is supportive.

Bones always treats us great! Service is top notch, though I don't consistently have a server here. Steaks are excellent as you'd expect with amazing cuts, but the bone in fillet is my go to. You have to get the onion rings and foie gras as well. Lastly, be sure to come for someone's birthday so you can get their amazing ice cream cake.

Great ambiance and food options. Sat at the bar with my date for the evening and it was an exceptional experience. Bones is unlike any other steak house in the metro area. The service is personal and business influenced. Drinks, Food Options, desserts and appetizers are in constant rotation from one end of the bar to the other. All options are favorable. Be advised some menu items may be sold out due to popular demand. Ordered the bone in 20oz rib eye. It was remarkable. Had two dirty martinis with extra olives. Everything was very good. If you have not experienced this restaurant my question is what are you waiting for?

Been here a few times over the years & it's my Atlanta favorite. Everything you'd want in a classic old school feel steakhouse. Whether dining at a table or the bar, the service is spectacular. Food and drink is second to none. Their staff work really hard to give you a great experience. If something isn't right, just politely let them know & they'll happily take care of it.

The Wagyu Strip! Splurge for it if you can. Buttery deliciousness.

You can definitely dress formally! My husband and I go for date nights and like to dress up. It's a very formal place with wonderful service.

Looking for a restaurant that my boyfriend and I can go to for a special occasion. We want to be able to dress a little more formal and wonder would it be appropriate here?

Yes! Bone's is definitely a place you can dress formally and fit right in. You'll feel like royalty once you experience their service.

Right when we walked in, the staff complained to us that we hadn't called ahead to have a "smaller, special menu" crafted for a large party. To make matters worse, they loudly announced to the whole table right off rip that they wouldn't split checks separately--only an even split. It felt incredibly rude, lazy, and unwelcoming. The irony is that the large group size wasn't even an issue; we staggered our arrivals and the patio was completely empty. The kicker- my brother in law ended up paying the whole tab at the end anyways! so all of that initial laziness & nastiness for NOTHING! Throughout the night, the service felt incredibly rushed and stressed. While we were still eating our appetizers, the busser was aggressively trying to clear our plates because the mains were coming. Our server was very short with us the entire time, which was confusing because the restaurant didn't even have a stressful vibe. She recommended a main dish to me that I really didn't care for, though I will say the salsa was unique and probably the best part of the meal. Shoutout to the one staff member who was actually friendly, but overall, this is not the kind of place where you leave feeling like you had a nice restaurant experience- at least I personally didn't.. Too bad we didn't just go to C&S next door which we always love. Regardless tho, my sister had a blast, but that's entirely because she has a wonderful crew of great friends, not because of Casi Cielo.

The bread service was just as amazing as I remembered. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed the Caesar salad, especially the freshly grated cheese, which he said was incredibly light and airy. As for the Lobster Risotto, it exceeded my expectations in both flavor and portion size. The risotto itself was somewhat mild on its own, but once I mixed in the herb butter, it became absolutely delicious. The lobster itself was very tender and tasty, I loved it. The bread was a little underwhelming, but the butter made up for it. For my entrée, I ordered the wet-aged 16oz ribeye cooked medium, and wow -- it was phenomenal. Crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked, juicy, and served sizzling straight from the skillet. I got the green peppercorn sauce on the side, but honestly, the steak didn't even need it. My date had on a baseball cap...told it was not permitted, fine he took it back to the vehicle. Then told we could not be seated because he had on basketball shorts(he did not) they were white linen shorts by Lacoste and a Gucci Polo shirt. Nothing was said about his shoes just the shorts. So I asked, since it wasn't crowded outside(only two people) can we be seated out there.... which was where we wanted to be seated anyway. They finally agreed to that. Once we got over this hurdle... it was up from there! Welllll one big thing slightly angered, more so disappointed me... I'll get into that later. The patio seating was nice, nothing extravagant, pretty comfortable. The outside bar area was nice. Our waiter was such a gentleman, really nice, attentive, all around good service...hate I can't remember his name‍ Now the reason for a truly decent review: food... Cocktails: Kentucky Mules and French Connections APPETIZERS: Oyster Rockefeller and Roasted Bone Marrow SALAD: Baby Iceberg Wedge SIDES: Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Garlic Spinach, and Lobster Mac & Cheese Stars of the show: Lamb Porterhouse and Ribeye-aged 35 days Everything was delicious.... well my date wasn't crazy about the Bone Marrow(lol) By the time we got to our main course, we had gotten pretty full, so we didn't eat much. Y'all why we(he) forgot our foodit was on the table before I went to the restroom, when I returned it was gone.... I would say him and the waiter had the food under control..... sooooo who left the food?(I was the birthday girl) We did have a few bites of everything so we, had the memories of how delicious the main course was. There restroom was clean and spacious we know this is important Now let's get into my problem, disappointment, and slight anger.... I told y'all we weren't aloud inside because of the hat(he took off) and the shorts(they said basketball NOT) We're enjoying ourselves we here a little ruckus and see a small crowd... don't think much, besides saying, "well we know they'll be sitting outside with us if they stay". Glance over and see a few outside. Time passes, we see men with baseball caps, jerseys, t-shirts, and basketball shorts, come out to smoke....Oh no, I know good and well.... I go in to use the restroom, guess what I see inside.... everything that prevented us from being seated inside....The compliments I received saying how nice I looked, fell on deaf ears. Now don't get me wrong we wanted to be seated outside anyway, the problem was....the option to be taken away and seeing everything that prevented us was seen inside was a problem for me(remember they had to think about allowing us to sit out there). Mentioned what was seen to our waiter.... he says the manager or owner is from I believe Morocco or maybe Portugal and he was hosting them this evening. For us to still be there and being served, it was still business hours, so I hope y'all understand the problem I had..... The acceptance of the FIFI fans being in our city, who will eventually leave and we who will be here when there gone...WOW! I'll leave it all right there..... Just know this want be the location for us/me next time.
