Overpriced mediocre food. We ordered two appetizers, the Upstreame Poke nachos ($15) and the Fun-Guis ($11) stuffed fried tempera mushrooms. Mushrooms were soggy and lacked salt, poke nachos had maybe 5 small sugar cube sized pieces of tuna, and the rest was pico de gallo and wanton chips. Very disappointing and not a contender against Yard House poke nachos. My husband ordered the Don't be Chicken sandwich ($17.50) with fries, chicken was dry and super stringy. I ordered the black sheep burger ($18) which is a 6 oz Angus Beef Patty, Cheese, Bacon Jam, house Sauce, and House Onion Ring. No onion ring in my burger, and it is so heavily sauced it definitely needs a fresh ingredient like lettuce to cut the sweetness, maybe even a pickle or two. The last time we were here I met my friend at the bar. The bartender had according to my friend not greeted her for a good 5 minutes. She had a drink by the time I showed up. It took him 10 min to greet me, another 10 to get my order. Now when I placed my order I had questions about the menu...he wasn't able to direct me on it. We ordered the pretzels and salad. The salad is literally just a long thing of lettuce whole and you have to chop it up yourself. They could not describe the different types of cheeses for me and tell me which is which. Lastly, the bartender just never checked up on us. This was our third time coming here. We usually give a place three tries before putting it on our "Do not eat here" list. read more

Mediocre, at best. Pros: The Ahi Poke nachos were amazing! It was extremely flavorful. I'd order it again if I actually planned on returning. Cons: Service: If you have time to lean, you have time to clean. The staff was just standing around chatting in a circle instead of tending to customers. We needed service, but even waving our hand up didn't grab their attention. It's a workplace, not a time for social hour. Also, someone in our party ordered a burger and upgraded to onion rings. When the burger came out, it came with French fries. That's when we were told they were out of onion rings. Suggestion: It might behoove you to let the customer know right away when you find out you're out of something because they might change their mind on their order altogether. Now I'm being told they don't even have onion rings. So it is a training issue with the staff on knowing the menu. Furthermore, everyone got their food around the same time except for one person. We all ate so the food wouldn't get cold, and one of the people had to eat alone. Disappointing, especially because it wasn't even that busy. Food: The Poke was amazing. The smash burger was boring and dry. I wouldn't order the smash burger again. Drinks: I love a good drink; yes, I do. Too bad I didn't get one. The bartender made two margaritas, poured them. It was a short pour. So she put everything back in the shaker and started adding more ingredients (mix, etc.; not booze) and then re-poured it into the glasses again. First, this tells me there is not going to be consistency. Second, she even tasted the margs after she redid them. I'm not sure what she tasted, but what I tasted was not good. Super sweet and not refreshing at all. I almost didn't drink it, but that would be alcohol abuse if I wasted it. I know a good marg; I love margs; but I'd never order another marg, at least from this bartender. Atmosphere: It's very nice and clean; however, some of the stools are very uncomfortable. Overall, everyone in our party was disappointed, so we don't have plans on returning any time soon. read more

We ordered the waffles and some burger meal and it was not good. The cornbread waffles was so weird and soggy the flavours were not as good as the pictures. And we ordered the pretzels bites and no it did not look like the picture and it was not good either. Taste like it was microwaved all the way. In fact I've actually came accords the same exact pretzel bites at Costco! Smh really if you have to eat here you either have to be really wasted or just have not a care of the world for food quality. Just remember that sometimes places have fake reviews and this one was sketchy from the beginning. We went on a Friday night and it was empty as hell. This place is lovely for brunch. Their poutine is spectacular! They do 2 for $20 champagne bottles. The service was excellent (Morgan was our waitress, she's a peach!), food was delish, and they have arcade games! Plus the owner was totally a sweetheart. I really wanted to like this place, and the waiter was really nice, but the food was really terrible. Ordered the glazed burger cooked medium and it came out as dry as a hockey puck, no flavor, no dressing on the burger whatsoever, it was probably one of the worst burgers I've ever eaten period. The fries were also inedible, dry as the Sahara desert and a waste. This place rules! Their Misfit is one of the best whiskey drinks I've ever had. Perfect blend of sweet and spice. Their poke nachos were dope, and so were their pretzel bites with spicy mustard, beer cheese, and garlic aioli. My wife and I each had a black sheep burger and it was incredible. Amazing meal. The vibe is a little more bar/casual than I usually go for in a date night, so it might be better for a night at the bar with some grub than a romantic night out but the food ensures this is a place I'll keep coming back to. Food arrived - burger was cold all around the edges/outside and the inner part was hot. Half the fries were hard to the touch and you couldn't even squeeze it - they were hard. The other item/meal ordered - sandwich was Luke warm to cold and the tri potatoes were bland (tasted like frozen cubed potatoes)- no seasoning. Was very excited to try the food here, but left underwhelmed. The poke nachos were a miss, and I typically love poke nachos. The deviled eggs sounded amazing, but the egg was over cooked and didn't melt in your mouth as Id expect. The chicken tenders were nothing to write home about. Perhaps I'll come back some day to try their drinks and desserts, but this was seemingly a case of the restaurant sounding better on paper and not executing. read more

My experience was not good. We arrived at a mostly empty restaurant for an early lunch and we were greeted by our server with some waters and the menu which was nice. But once she left we waited about 25 mins just for the server to come back to our table to take our order for food and drinks. Hardly anyone was in there and there was staff standing around talking at the bar. Finally once our order was in, we waited another long time and had 2 rounds of drinks before our food finally arrived. The restaurant had filled up during our wait and we noticed other tables waiting a long time for their orders too. Finally everyone's food order came out at the same time, and once we got our food it was under seasoned and mediocre. Not worth the hype from the other reviews I saw. A few things to chose from but if you are vegan this place is terrible. They have the Veg out but it's a $14 plate with only plain asparagus and potatoes topped with a light tomato purée. It's really basic and not worth it. I can make this at home with $4 or less. Very disappointed. I would give 2 stars but my boyfriend said he liked his rebel Reuben sandwich and the fries were good too. So extra star only for that. The food is really good but I'm disappointed by the lack of social distancing measures taken by this restaurant. I was lucky to get a table outside and had the chicken and waffles but the inside was crowded. It's disheartening that they continue to operate in this manner even though the hospitals are overcrowded with COVID cases. I continue to love this place! It is clear they care about their customers and the community as a whole! I have witnessed over and over all that they do to make sure everyone can enjoy themselves while remaining safe. I saw every employee wearing a mask. I saw them completing temperature checks. I watched them spray every table and chair with sanitizer as one patron would leave and before sitting another. They implement social distancing while making everyone feel comfortable, not acting as if they are policing people. I also noticed extra precautions taken to ensure ventilation on their patios and bay seating. I read a sign they posted that they close one day a week for a deep clean! Wow!
