I have been wanting to try this place since I heard about their deviled eggs 2 years ago. We finally came and indulged in this decadence. Starting with the Obscene Poutine, I mean seriously,?! It's fantastic and full of layers of flavor. It was crunchy and chewy and spicy! We could have eaten just that. But, the Poke Nachos called us! And they didn't disappoint either! So full of flavor. At a certain point I had to put aside some of the jalapeños but, it was delish. Dinner- husband got the Glazed Over Burger - HOLY GEEZ! Yes! This is such a great local restaurant. The food is really creative and tasty. They made special accommodations for me to host a birthday dinner and went out of their way to make me and my party feel welcomed. We shared the Poke Nachos, Rebel Fries and Obscene Poutine. First off I came and put down my name she said 40 minutes and they would call me I waited over a hour and no one called so i walked by and there was all these empty tables and sat me down immediately. I should have been called. Ok so the drink was great that's the only thing I liked. I ordered the chicken plate with the mash and veggies. Seriously had no flavor it reminded me of a microwave meal. I was so dissatisfied. I got the avocado toast...needs flavor so bland. The ceaser salad was very mid. And my friend got the burger. Slipped in here ona whim.... Found through Yelp. This may be one of the best meals I've had since moving to California, three years ago! I had the glazed over burger. Absolutely delicious! I've walked by this place on Citrus many times since they opened. I went yesterday for brunch and again today. It's that good. The food is tasty and innovative. It was room temp and not sweet but it was still drinkable. I was surprised how small it was for $11. The beyond burger was kinda plain but still eatable. I think if I go back we will order appetizers. I heard people loving the pretzel bites. We sat where we could see outside which was nice but we battled a few flys. First off, AMAZING STAFF! Cynthia served us tonight and was nothing less than awesome. It was our first time trying this place out and honestly it was pretty solid! I originally had ordered the Buffalo Style "Fowl Mouth" (not my favorite but that's a personal preference) but ended up opting it for the Southern Styled Fowl Mouth instead which was very yummy! The food is... interesting. They have a lot of spin on things which is nice but sometimes if you're not reading closely you'll be surprised with what you ordered. I haven't had the mixed drinks yet but hear they're good. The waitress who was there was super nice and even despite our large party was totally cool with/accurately separated the bill. Wish I had gotten her name to shout her out. My only suggestion is maybe getting heaters outside for the outdoor seating at night. But I know those are hard to come by at the moment. Enough original and quirky items to make it interesting, but not so many so as to induce The Cheesecake Factory Paradox (def: a psychological response of feeling overwhelmed by a menu with too many options wherein, in spite of the the plethora of options, you can't decide what to order). I tried this place for the first time on Friday night with my boyfriend. We loved this place so much we even came back Saturday AND Sunday. We originally came just to have a drink and Steven right away greeted us with a smile and sat us down right away. Our bartender was Matt and to say he is hands down the best bartender I have ever met is such an understatement. The first night I tried one of the drinks from their menu and the second night, he let me know they had run out but that he could make me something special. Every single drink this guy makes is DELICIOUS. Steven and Matt were so great to us and truly make us feel welcomed. On Sunday when we were walking to the restaraunt, Steven noticed us from a distance and said hi to us and that made us feel even more special. We received great service even when we weren't seating! We love coming during Friday hours we can get some of the fun (mixed cocktails in a table-side, spigot dispenser, um, yes!) of weekend brunch without the full crowd. So it being Wednesday we arrived for all day happy hour, so we had to make due with what we had. This place has a cool vibe. The guys here were really nice and friendly. Our server Sergio recommended the black sheep burger. We ordered it well done, we passed on the onion ring that comes inside it. But it has a bunch of cheese on it and some tasty bacon jam. The bacon jam looks like barbecue and when you take a bite...it taste pretty good but i can say it does sneak up on you. Its got a little spicy kick to it, nothing too crazy but it gives this burger a good flavor. The fries that came with the burger are waffle fries, and those were great, crispy just how we like them.
