These guy will not stand behind their product. I've had two of their Duracell car batteries in less than a year. The first one didn't last two weeks, it developed a direct short. So they gave me a second battery, 11 months later they battery started going dead in 4 to 5 days. So they checked it and it shows its good , also had a Auto repair shop check the car and everything tested good including the battery. However the Battery goes dead in 4 to 5 days. I ran a test without the battery hooked up to the car, the battery drop 50% in 48 hours. But again Battery plus will not stand behind this juck battery. So they can shove this battery where the sun doesn't shine. I bought a good battery from Autozone. I do don't recommend buying car battery from Battery Plus for two reasons they won't stand behind the battery and they don't care, also the Batteries are junk, I new from the bagaining I shouldn't have bought this battery from them. BUYERS BEWARE. Also they want to sell you a loner while they check your battery. Thats bull shit.. I bought a Autozone battery all my problem are gone. I also see other people have had issue getting these people to back their product. Battery was a little less expensive than dealership. After only about 14 months we noticed the first issues, and took the battery back to have it tested in store. They said nothing was wrong, and went on our way. Not many months after, more issues. The car had a start/stop system, and we thought that had something to do with the battery not working. In less than 24 months, we had numerous issues of having the car stop on us. So much so, that we kept a battery pack in my wife's car. When we got the battery checked again, they said "all is fine" (this check came after we had to drop $600 for a "loaner" battery, while our battery was tested). i changed everything in my charging system (alternator, starter, etc), and still had issues. The only constant, was the BBP battery. Last fall, I finally had enough and went and bought a battery from another seller, and my problems magically went away. I didn't even get 3 years out of a $600 battery, which is very disappointing. I will never do business with BBP again. read more

This is my second time coming here for a car battery. You can bring your car in without an appointment and they will check your car battery for FREE. If it needs replaced they will replace the battery and dispose of your old one. Once again, FREE of charge. The staff is always so very friendly and willing to help. Both batteries i had to have changed in my daughters cars and it was a freezing day. I felt so bad for them changing the batteries outside in the cold. They didn't complain or seem to be irritated at all!! Also , I've been in the store many of times to have the battery changed in all our key cars. They even have a deal that they will change the lifetime of the key battery for 19.99. Which is awesome cuz i have to change mine about every 6 months. Tip: if you buy the battery on line and then pick it up in the store you choose you get a 20 percent discount!!! That's a deal!! Scenario: fort talked into a great battery, longest usage life possible, 2 year warranty, etc., for a premium price. Gained comfort knowing your watercraft will now start as needed, when needed. "I won't get stranded again", mentality. GOT JUST THE OPPOSITE!!!! Battery was dead after 4 months of use. Stranded and getting dark fast! Go to all the trouble of returning it to be quizzed at the store as to all the dates and times I've used the battery. No return possible at this point. "We need to run some tests" I'm told. "It's procedure." Some warranty!! More like let's hit your wallet hard, Jack you around so you never come back, kind of warranty! I would give them a zero if I could. I bought an expensive, higher rated, battery ($237.00 worth) for my car in December of 2020. Fast forward to February 2021 and the sub zero weather hit. My new battery was dead as it gets. I jumped the thing and ran errands for the next few hours never turning the vehicle off for fear of not starting again. The last errand was back to the 135th Metcalf store where I purchased it. They "tested" it and said it was fine and refused to replace under warranty. Less than 60 days old! My advice, buy at Costco. My Son did and 16 months after purchasing it would not start. They replaced it on the spot with a brand new battery, no question. I knew I should have gone there instead! What this franchisee needs to learn is good customer service pays big , recurring dividends and makes for a loyal customer, for life. Poor customer service means for each event, that customer is going to tell multiple people about their experience. Bad news travels faster than good resulting in lost future revenue and customers No, not every unhappy customer will take the time to write a review like this one, but they will take the time to share their experiences with your business, many times over with many people. Both Mitch and Aaron were very helpful. I needed a car battery and Costco did not stock the exact one I needed. I called Batteries Plus Bulbs and Aaron sourced the right type and then went to check if one was in stock. He held it for me as I told him I would be there in 5 minutes. When I did my return, took quite a long time to complete the return transaction for some reason. I went to see what Batteries Plus had, and quickly realized that the Powerex 11 Ah model was what I wanted. Impulsively, I shelled out the $50 for a 2 pack. They have been great batteries, but Amazon has the same exact ones for $29 with prime shipping available! Because I'm probably in the top 10 Best Dad's Ever group, I bought a laser for my son for Christmas. It was literally on a slow ship from China since December. After a quick stop in Switzerland, it arrived in our anxious little hands yesterday - sans battery. And it's not any battery most people on this island have ever heard of. And because we already waited more than a month for the laser's arrival and wanted to get busy catching things on fire, I needed a battery at any cost. I thought maybe THIS is what BatteriesPlus is for. So I stopped by, and I found the battery I needed. It's rechargeable and they didn't have the charger - well, that's not too helpful. A few questions later, I realized that the kid who probably lists "Battery Professional" on his young LinkedIn profile knows a lot about batteries. I checked Amazon when I got home and ordered another two just like it, with the charger, for the same price. I was able to get my battery replaced on my iPhone 5. The salespersons were kind and informative. However, they were not informed that for certain iPhone 5's, the battery will be replaced for free at the Apple Store. I later found out through the cellphonerepair (CPR) store website, that my phone would have qualified for the free replacement service from Apple. I was disappointed that a store that replaces iPhone batteries regularly did not know about this program which has existed for over a year. I had ordered a flooded cell backup sump battery, but when I came in to pick it up the sales associate talked me into a more expensive maintenance free battery. The sump backup system was incompatible with maintenance free batteries and it gave me difficulties for almost a year, at which point the system alarm was going off daily. Batteries Plus Bulbs tested it and said it was fine, then I called the equipment manufacturer and learned the battery would never work with that system. It was way past the returns deadline and it was not a warranty issue. While it was not their legal responsibility, because it had been their mistaken recommendation to buy the maintenance free battery, actually just gave me a new, flooded cell battery with an extended warranty that matched that of the maintenance free battery. I was astonished at how far the owner went to make things right. He is clearly an extremely ethical and considerate person. I hope his kids (if he has any) read this review as they have one heckuva dad. You can unquestionably trust the expertise and recommendations of the personnel at the 135th and Metcalf location and feel entirely comfortable doing business with Batteries Plus Bulbs there. Batteries (and bulbs) can involve surprisingly complex issues - this one was - and it's important to have someplace to go to get help with them. I should add that their pricing is very competitive, and with them you frequently will have a far better idea of what you are getting than when you order on line. read more

I managed to completely smash my phone screen and needed a repair -- fast, because I was only in town visiting my parents for a few days. I shopped around and found that Batteries Plus was easily forty dollars cheaper than the area average, and unlike a bunch of other places, I wouldn't have to wait for them to order a part. They told me that the frame was a little bent, so it would take a bit of extra time but they had the phone fixed and ready for me to take home in about two hours. Great customer service, and I felt really comfortable there. I liked that they did a bunch of extra checks to make sure everything else was working, and the staff there was friendly, knowledgable and extremely helpful. I took my phone here to get the battery replaced and never turned the phone on to see if everything else was running correctly. When they gave it back to me the screen had an lcd issue and has a large black spot on the side. They clame its not under warranty because they didnt check the phone first so they would charge me $200 to repair it. Will not be going back here again! read more
