    Seafood chowder - good flavor
    Angelique H.

We were excited to try this place but had a middling experience. The space itself is nice with some outside seating and open garage door off the bar but the super mellow music made the ambiance a little sad. The service was a little slow but the one woman doing double duty bartending and serving was hustling as best she could. One employee (owner?) seemed like he could have hustled more to help. And now the food...the seafood chowder and Caesar salad were both pretty good. But the burgers....toppings are good but the patties themselves on both burgers were overcooked, buns on both burgers were burnt and we were just disappointed. Not sure if we will return.

When driving past Battery 245, its looks are deceiving. They have done a good job with the space, especially the picnic tables in the back for those wanting to sit outside with their dogs. My server was attentive to my needs, even moving my food inside when it started to rain and I put my dog in the truck. I tried both their Sunset Left IPA and the Isabella New England IPA - both were good. I had the BBQ Smash Burger, which was also uniquely good.

So to start very nice people working there I have been a couple times now. The place is really nice great bar table. This time I decided to order food and got the smash burger I usually ask for well done however not this time and it was perfect. The bun was even toasted a little adding a crunch. The burger sauce was good. I overheard locals in seaside talking about it so I decided to eat there. The beers and I have been to a few breweries were spot on. I got a flight and it was a brown, Mexican lager, double IPA and single IPA. I usually can say which one I don't like however not this case they were all delicious. Definitely a good spot and I will be back soon.

Tuna tostada was the best ever! Rice flower fried calamari with ginger soy was fantastic. Seafood chowder was solid , good and peppery. Mac & cheese was just ok but the sausage add on was delish!

Brand new brewery/restaurant in Warrenton. Woo hoo! Had the pleasure of dining at Battery 245 last week, when they only had 10 days under their belt. Everyone was really friendly, and the service was great! We tried a few menu items... the Soup of the Day, a Salad, a Wedge Smash Burger and the Pretzel Board. The Soup and Salad were good, and the Wedge Smash Burger - with crispy pork belly - was awesome! The fries that came with the burger were perfect. The pretzel board was hit and miss. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt, because it sounded ambitious - House-made pretzel, fried. The fried part is where Battery 245 lost us - it didn't really work as a pretzel or a churro. Yes, churro. The texture was a lot closer to a churro than a pretzel, but it wasn't sweet at all. We'll definitely be back - there are a number of burger and sandwiches on the menu that sound interesting. And if they're anything like the Wedge Smash, they'll be tasty!

It happened to be the evening of a Seahawks game-so it was crowded. The staff was totally on the ball and seated us in a booth in a minute. The food was delicious. I like calamari, but done wrong, they can taste like fried rubber bands. Not these! They were delicious, prepared perfectly, with a delicious dipping sauce. Our meals came out promptly and were delicious. Try the fish tacos! I'd come back again if I visit the area again.

We arrived before 5:00 pm, and it took a while to even put an order in. Even though we were sitting in the bar and there were a LOT of servers/bussers/etc. We ordered the Mushroom burger, the Chicken Bacon Guac burger and the Prime Rib Dip. Let's start with the pros - the Chicken Bacon Guac burger was pretty good! But the Prime Rib Dip had something like shredded meat on it, not sliced meat. So, when you dipped it in the Au jus, chunks of meet fell into the Au jus. Be ready to fish them out with a fork! The Mushroom burger was an exceptionally thin burger. Our server asked how we wanted it cooked. But it didn't matter. A burger that thin was coming out well done, no matter what. It had mushrooms on it, but not many at all. And we ordered the Cajun Tater Tots. Tonight, it was just like someone cooked tater tots, then shook some seasoning on them, and maybe the lid fell off the seasoning? They were drenched in some kind of Cajun-adjacent spice. We had recently been telling visiting guests that the Lost Roo was the one consistent, reasonably priced restaurant on the peninsula. We're going to have to stop telling people that now. Sadly, it'll be a while before we go back.
