    Green Poundcake

Visited to grab a TGTG order. Queue was about 12-15 people on a Saturday morning, so it seems to be fairly busy on weekends. Didn't grab a drink during this visit. The pastry we most enjoyed was the pound cake - we couldn't sort out if it was pistachio or matcha flavored, so we just called it "the tasty green pound cake

I came here on a weekend to visit Santana row. Having never tried Blue Bottle but heard of it decided to stop by. Tried the Ice Nola and the Caffe Latte. The ice nola is iced coffee with cold milk. It was simple but had a good sweetness, very smooth. Would get again. The caffe latte was recommended and got it hot. Got it with oat milk, for me a bit boring. Probably wouldn't get again. Overall nice coffee shop and I saw they made fresh waffles to order too.

This Blue Bottle is a little popup building in the middle of the island in Santana Row. There are no seats inside the building but plenty of open, public seating around. The coffee is really flavorful, but overly expensive in my opinion. The baristas are great and really nice. It's usually pretty busy though so be prepared for a bit of a wait unless it's a slower weekday.

A popular coffee shop in the middle of Santana row and 5 minutes walking distance away from Valley Fair. It has a small interior only for waiting for your coffee order but has lots of outdoor seating nearby. They have their coffee beans for sale and a few other merchandise. I ordered the Caffe Mocha hot and it took about 15 minutes from waiting in line to get my order. It was the morning rush, so I can tell the baristas were a bit stressed out. The caffe mocha was delicious with its dark bitter taste that tasted like cacao. Smooth and decadent like a ganache. Good experience and good coffee.

I have been to many Blue Bottle coffees, and they are very popular with people that love good coffee. I recommend ordering ahead on the app. There's always a line here in the inside of this location is pretty small. I ordered a head and had my coffee within about seven minutes. I always make Blue Bottle part of my day. And this location does not disappoint.

The coffee is great and I know it takes longer than other coffee shops because of the filtering process, but I swear...it doesn't seem like the workers have a flow. And they're really slow. I feel like they're just trying to look busy but aren't getting much done.

If you like swanky pretentious coffee, this place is perfect. Honestly it's right in the middle of Santana Row so kind of hard to miss. A small latte is $7.50 and a lemon matcha pound cake is $6. They lost my latte order, so after waiting for 15 minutes, I asked and they (re-)made it. The latte was good but not exceptional. The beans (which they sell for almost $40/pound make for a smooth yet strong espresso. I'm just not sure it's worth the price or the wait. The lemon matcha cake was really too sweet and since they have no oven, it's served at ambient room temperature.

A Bay Area staple! Blue Bottle is my FAVORITE coffee chain! Their espresso is always consistent and the amount of sugar added is a perfect balance of espresso + sweetness! I usually don't like my coffee to taste like I'm drinking a dessert drink in the morning. I also love the simple aesthetic Blue Bottle gives!

Was on a trip and needed a pick me up. Saw the blue bottle logo and knew i had to have it. I actually had blue bottle for the first time on a trip to Japan, and it was a great experience to where i wanted a reminder. I had a Vanilla Chicory Latte hot, but just a regular size as we were scheduled for lunch soon after. Love that it was filled to the brim, after allowing to cool some i enjoyed the boldness and full of flavor my drink was. I love knowing that if I'm in Santana Row, i can get a cup of Jo' that reminds me of some great times traveling amongst friends.

I've been to this coffee shop a handful of times and apparently I've never ridden a review. Lol oops! I really like their iced coffee and the New Orleans one with a almond milk or plant-based milk since I'm lactose intolerant. This particular day, I just wanted a simple drip coffee, and I wanted the golden hour, but sadly they were out. The gentleman behind the counter said they had the single origin, Myanmar blend instead. That was actually very light, embody with a nice citrus aftertaste, and it went really well with my Matcha lemon poundcake! So I was very impressed! Ambience in this little area is a park setting, luckily there's a lot of shade even though the children were running around. It looks like a cute little play area with a fountain nearby. I sat off to the side and was amused, listening to the children, play their games and talk about The fountain and how a fountain works well, the mechanics. Lol. There were also at least five barista working inside and they were all busy as could be!! I was really happy with the speed of my service since there were so many people in line ahead of me! I will definitely be back again!

Stopped by Blue Bottle Coffee on Saturday morning and it was packed, definitely expect a bit of a wait since it's right in the middle of the shopping strip on Santana Road. Prices are on the higher side but the atmosphere is really nice with beautiful outdoor seating. They're known for their specialty coffee and I tried the cappuccino and a matcha latte with oat milk, both were great with the latte art. I also got the affogato which wasn't that bad and the waffle was surprisingly delicious. Coffee and waffles make it worth swinging by if you happen to be in the area!

    Watery NOLA Cold Foam

Super disappointed, barista handed it to me overflowing and bubbling for some reason? I had it at the valley fair location and the foam was much better. If I'm paying $8 for a coffee, make it right

I honestly don't know why I've never left a review for Blue Bottle before -- it's been my favorite coffee place for over four years now. And I think it's finally time to give them the love they deserve. When it comes to cappuccinos or lattes on oat milk, this is my #1 spot. Always has been. Yes, I've tried other places, but Blue Bottle is the one that never lets me down. The quality, the taste, the consistency -- it's just on another level. I first discovered this place years ago, and since then, no other coffee has really topped it for me. Every cup is smooth, rich, and just right. I don't even have to think twice when I'm craving a good coffee -- it's always Blue Bottle. Recently, I got excited to try their Affogato -- and wow, it was way better than I expected. Creamy, strong, and balanced. I also LOVE that they offer their waffle separately. That's now my go-to duo when I don't feel like getting just a coffee: Affogato + Waffle = perfection. Unfortunately, not every Blue Bottle location carries the Affogato, but this one does -- and I keep coming back for it. So yeah, this is officially my favorite café. Always 10/10.

It's fall and this is when i get the Fall Latte

With some coffees a second cup will give me a stomach ache (especially since I drink my cold brews black and bitter like my soul), but I had no problems with their cold brews! I also got the vegan stonefruit scone (baked by Sweet Dragon) and while a little on the dry side (common with scones), paired extremely well with the coffee and had good flavor. Husband got a cappuccino and a strawberry mini pie and was extremely pleased with his order. The service is friendly, but some things may have been new on the day we went. They almost forgot my cold brew until we asked at the counter, as well as stating that they didn't have anything to heat up my husband's strawberry pie (which seems odd, since a little toaster oven seems like a simple fix for that), but apparently it was fantastic at room temperature anyway. Seating was absolutely full when we got there and we were lucky to snag a table as another couple left, so it seems like a popular Saturday morning spot. Several folks were working on laptops, and it seems like a kid-friendly place. The decor is a clean and modern/trendy industrial style, which works well for the space, and the windows provide nice daylight. Overall, a good coffee shop and I am really happy to see vegan pastry options! My husband is getting into pinball, which was part of the motivation to come out and try Chromatic, so I am sure we'll be back again next time he wants to hit up Slingshot (in the same building), and I look forward to the coffee and treats!

The seating area is quite limited for the large crowd it attracts, making the atmosphere inside feel a bit chaotic at peak times. Fortunately, the baristas are super polite and work fast, keeping the long lines moving efficiently. The coffee menu and the retail bean selection are both impressive. I decided to try a dulce de leche coffee. While I was expecting a strong caramel profile of dulce de leche, the flavor turned out to be fairly subtle rather than prominent. It added a significant sweetness, but without knowing the order beforehand, identifying the exact flavor would have been tough. That said, the coffee itself was still refreshing The high quality of the coffee bean really shone through, delivering a rich aroma and the ideal caffeine kick for a breezy morning. Great coffee beans and fast service make it worth dropping in, even if the indoor seating situation is a bit tight.
