Been playing here for 6 years or so. Recently though - there have been significant problems with the wait lists for Poker. On a weekday night - there appears to be multiple tables covered on the Poker side in order to run more games on the California Games side. Wait list is 20-30 people deep and the floor is still closing more games on the 2/3/5 Poker side. Bay 101 is located in a nice area with very large parking lot. The food is great and fairly priced. The staff and dealers are courteous. A good place to play poker with many tables. In short: good place, good games, good food and good people. read more

Interesting place to have breakfast at bay 101, planned on eating at the restaurant but there was a tournament so we had to eat at the bar, service was very good. The portions are big. The prices are very reasonable. It was fun to see the gamblers on a Monday morning already playing so earnestly. read more

Took my mom there in the morning, then my sister in the evening. I returned and played alone until 4am then headed for my NYC flight. ( I was visiting) Two staff harassed me in the prking lot (one was a security guard) just outside the entrance. They used mock NEw yorker accents and said " Go back to new york" *Get the fook outta here" and more. I ignored them and left. I spent a few grand showing my family a good time. I am also a champion poker player , won a WSOP tournament in Jan 2025. I also play many underground games where you need to be sharp about your surroundings. I heard the dealer speak to a player who i suspected to be colluding , when. they were breaking a game the dealer told him to stay because they chose not to break it. Thats when I knew not only was a house player, but cheTing with 2 others at the 9 handed table. I can go into further detail but i am never going back after being harassed. I can handle colluders as I win regularly in games that have them come in from off the street, but at Bay 101 they were a prt of the house team. Now you know. read more

Being a poker player from Canada, I was really impressed by this casino. Maybe it's because all the rooms in Canada are terrible, but this was the best poker room I've ever been to. The dealers are very fast and rarely make mistakes. Table service was great and I even had food from here as well. The action was amazing here, way better than Vegas. I play poker a lot at Bay 101 and it's a great place to play. The floor persons and dealers are great. The only reason Bay 101 doesn't get a higher score is their food is awful. It's my understanding that Bay 101 uses an outside vendor for their food service. The menu is poor and quality of food is poorer. It could be a great casino if Bay 101 management would step up and correct their mistake. They need to take over control of their kitchen, hire some experienced food management staff, and build a reputation of being both a great casino to play at and great place to eat. Until then Bay 101 will sadly remain just a 3 star experience for me. read more

Giving it 5 stars from the 2 I gave before, I gave this place another shot, and tbh I have met so many amazing people & now I even got 2 favorite table dealers, which made my experience way way better. I now come here about twice a month now & it's always fun even if I end up losing. I highly recommend going during happy hour for beer & mix drinks! Parking is good they have lots, so you can always find a spot to park at. Honestly I'm happy that I gave this spot another cha chance, it was worth it! read more

This place somehow has the best spaghetti in the world. I have lost money gambling every time I've been here but I can't even be mad because the spaghetti is that good. My girlfriend loves their spaghetti so much that one time I went here just to pick it up for us for dinner. I called in the order, and despite thinking she was being pranked, one of waitresses in the casino was very accommodating and placed the order for me and had it ready for me to retrieve at the poker counter. The burger is the best food item, its fantastic with good fries. The service is good the on-floor servers are quick and attentive. The atmosphere is good too, its not dirty on the floor, everything is clean including the tables. Worst experience I have ever had playing 3-card poker. I lose $500 in two hands back to back (as expected). I decided to go all in on my hand with $245. I thought I had $245 to match ante turns out I was $10 short only had $235. I had a premium hand and told the dealer I was sorry and could go to the ATM real quick(first time ever happening). Decided to bump in here one night. Honestly , not a big fan of California style casinos but their better than running a couple hundred through scratchers that night. People were friendly , and some good looking staff. Clean and generally safe , if you a bad ass like us and don't realize you might not be in the best part of town. Played some blackjack and 3 card. Went after work, after 1am, of course there 24hrs so Why Not? they have a lot on the menu to chose from but, we didn't want to eat too heavy and at the same time, enjoy the different items they have on the menu, of course whatever your stomach at the time could handle. Ordered from the bar,waitress did not take our order cause she was tending to the people ordering alcohol & last call is 115am. The restrooms were great quality, there was security so you felt safe, and the casino area grew increasingly populated throughout Saturday night into Sunday morning - wow, color me surprised. The bar, lounge , and outdoor areas were chilly though, and the drinks were surprisingly strong...didn't really like that or the taste for that matter. Service was good though.
