Very tasty clam chowder with a beautiful view of the water! The staff were quite friendly and efficient! Will definitely be back in the summer when it isn't as cold.

    Watching the nor'easter come in.

Formerly Bayside Betty's, the three of us were all pleasantly surprised by our brunch today. Great view, right on the water. Service was great! We were even offered refills on our decaf and hot water for tea (a dying service, imho). Loaded potato skin appetizer was perfect! Two of us had eggs Benedict and enjoyed it. I had two eggs, two linguica, and two pancakes. It came with real maple syrup! And all special requests were honored perfectly!

If you like seared tuna, it doesn't get better than this. Plus a superb martini . My favorite tuna in Provincetown

Amazing vanilla cappuccino and beautiful views of the bay. No food was ordered but it did look good.

Really loved it here. The Waterfront view is so beautiful. We could bring our tiny dog as well. I'm sure this is rare but we were able to walk right in and get a table outside without waiting. I have celiac and there were plenty of options for me on this menu for gluten free. I had the lobster Benedict on a gluten free udi's bun, and it was fantastic. The blood orange mimosa was also really nice. Would absolutely come back

We tried the brunch. It was a good experience- ok food and service. It has a lovely beachside patio with great views... but that's that. Glad we tried it. Check.

We only had bloody marys. Nice people but the drink was a bit weak on the mixture. Great view off the deck

It's always on our list of recommended dine-in spots when friends/family visit Provincetown. We got TAKEOUT for the first time tonight and were impressed enough to write a review. We're in town for Holly Folly (Christmas/holiday weekend) and have a 9mo old. We knew we'd be doing takeout for dinner. One of our other favorite spots in town wouldn't do a takeout order (too busy). We were hesitant to get something from Canteen because they had been slammed all day with a crowd from their outdoor holiday market (also highly recommended), but took a chance. Two orders of fish and chips. Staff (probably exhausted from the busy day) were so kind and friendly. The order came out fast. Really good quality. Big portions (see photo) incl French fries, coleslaw, tartar sauce. We're glad our initial idea didn't work out and we had a great takeout dinner from Canteen! Thanks so much!

I got a celery soda to go with my cold lobster roll ($30)! I'd definitely try the frozé next time. We also ordered a side of the Brussels sprouts ($10) which were doused in a tangy chili sauce... they were my favorite. Lobster roll was missing something... I found the lobster salad more bland than I was expecting. If I decide to get lobster again, I'll probably try Box Lunch or another spot, but I'd return here for the fish and chips. Service was friendly. You're expected to bus your table.

You have to walk up a slight hill on Carver Street to get here, and it was no surprise that it was relatively packed with all the terrace seats taken. And yet, the ambiance was quite chill. Everyone was looking relaxed and definitely not on the make. Customers skewed a tad older here, which made us feel right at home. We were particularly impressed that the veteran bartender had a mixing container dedicated to their espresso martinis, so of course, we ordered a pair for $16 each (photo: https://yelp.to/VmjWNmEyk0). For some wishful reason, I thought it was a full-out gay bar, but no, when we heard the booming voice of the drunken slattern at the bar, we knew it was a place that welcomed anybody and everybody. Nothing wrong with that but some show tunes would've been nice. We soon realized P-Town doesn't really have straight bars, just different flavors of gay ones. The bartender was friendly, but the vibe was off for us. We weren't into pool or ping-pong but still made time for a couple of their signature cocktails in paper cups, the $16 Margarita for Jamie and the $14 Blue Hawaiian for me (Photo 2).
