This place is located in a very discrete location across from Weenie Hut Jrs & Hammy Smash. It deserves more traffic. My sister & I decided to dine in on Wednesday and try this Indian Restaurant. The ladies were super nice and welcoming, great customer service upon the first visit. We ordered Lamb Curry, Butter Chicken, Naan Basmati Rice + an order of Samosas & a Mango Lassi. Everything was flavorful, the spice was just right (we got mild). I'll definitely try spicy next time. The food did NOT taste like it had been stored warmed up at a later time. I tried this place a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately, this time the main dish was a miss. I tried the chicken masala and it didn't have any flavor to it. I asked for medium spice and it didn't have any spice at all. Didn't seem to have any salt in it. I tried the bread with the onion and spices on the inside, just didn't really have a flavor that I preferred. I have tried other dishes that were tasty but this one was a miss this time. The service was good and the staff was nice and checked on everyone to make sure they were doing well. The ambience is nice with the music in the background. I came here a year ago and loved the food however the mango lassi was always sour like the yogurt had gone bad. However, when I came back recently they had a change in scenery and staff. Great hidden spot on the northwest side of town. we were looking for a good spot to grab lunch and decided to go to Bay Leaf. I have driven by it a few times, but it is normally early in the morning. My friend arrived before me, and was offered a table and tea while she waited. I was met with great customer service and the offer for chai tea as well which was perfect on a rainy day! The restaurant was very comfortable and quiet. We sat in a booth which was very plush. We ordered the samosas, naan, rice and two types of daal. The presentation of the food was great. It was so tasty! Everything was fresh and hot. Neither of us could stop eating! Customer service was excellent and our waiter, Ish, checked in on us multiple times to make sure we were ok. He was very kind and thorough. I will definitely be back to try more delicious food! read more

Easily deserves its 5-star rating. Wife and I shared lamb korma, one of her favorites (and it's Mom's Day!), medium heat, an order o plain and an order of garlic naan. Probably one of the best Indian meals - scratch that. One of the best restaurant meals period I've ever eaten. And if you look at my list of reviews, you know that's saying something. Came with perfectly cooked long-grain rice with a very appropriate smattering of caraway. Yum. And my mango lassi for dessert was excellent. The store is nearly perfectly clean and the service was excellent. The music augmented the meal very nicely. Not cheap, but not expensive by a long shot and an excellent value. Visiting this place was a terrible mistake. The staff literally don't care about you. We ordered a veg biryani, they made us wait for an hour before putting out a biryani that is basically a multi colored rice with no flavors, no vegetables and no raita?!. When questioned, they politely said that they ran out of raita. When I pressed them they offered to give us curd which they still had, so one has to wonder why they didn't proactively offer it. No apology was offered because as I said, they don't care. We ordered a bunch of other items as well and they were extremely bland. The panneer butter masala literally had 5 small cubes of paneer. My husband and I dined in today for dinner around 5 pm. There were no customers we were greeted when we entered. The inside was decorated beautifully. The menu was extensive with many dishes; rice dishes, vegetarian, chicken, lamb, goat and seafood. My husband and I ordered the samosa chaat it came with 2 pieces we had the option to choose the spice levels and we chose all mild for our dishes. The samosas were good loaded with so much flavors but a bit too much onions and wasn't used to the sweet taste. We also had the lamb biryani, something we've never had before so we didn't know what to expect. This dish was a huge plate of rice with so many colors. The flavors were delicious the lamb was yummy, it was nice and tender but I felt there just wasn't enough. They also sprinkle some what looked like dried fried string onions it had an odd hard plasticky texture it wasn't edible I would have gotten it without it. The butter chicken dish I ordered came with basmati rice. The flavor of the butter chicken was rich, I would recommended. The garlic naan was nothing special very similar to other restaurants. The mango lassi was really good, made well and prefect sweetness we really enjoyed it. The service was amazing, everyone was so nice and welcoming. The food also came out fast. read more

Dal and all the curry's lacked salt but that is individuals taste. Navratan korma and Malai kofta are good and I'm happy to recommend those. Ice cream is marked as Kulfi , I don't know why ‍. They taste good , only thing is they are marked wrongly in the menu. Overall a good restaurant and experience for a fine dining experience.
