Had a great experience with Bay Services. Our technicians were Aydin and Parvin and they notified me in advance of their arrival time and were even early! They both were polite, explaining what they were doing and why, making suggestions, and did a really great job with cleaning the dryer vent and installing a new flip door on the roof which had originally had mesh over it. The lint was getting caught at the top which is a potential fire hazard! So glad they took care of that and we have peace of mind now. I was incredibly impressed with Bay Services. I called them based on Yelp reviews, and those reviews seem well-deserved. I called on Friday afternoon about scheduling a dryer duct cleaning. After quoting me a fair price, Thomas offered me an appointment the next day in spite of my needing to narrow the 2-hour arrival window because of a prior commitment. Alex showed up in the early part of that short window, texting me ahead-of-time with his ETA. He did a fabulous job. He was professional, neat, and thorough. My dryer vents to the roof. He cleaned the duct to the roof as well as the flexible hose from the dryer to that duct. He checked the inside of my dryer, and he checked the roof. He was even so kind as to take photos of my roof and the dryer vent there so I could see how the vent worked and the condition of the roof near it. (A handyman had told me that I needed to extend the duct because "the cap" wasn't working, but Alex assured me that everything was working well; no modifications were needed.) I asked about Bay Services', well, services. Besides duct cleaning, they do chimneys and cooking hood ducts. I asked Alex how they cleaned the grease from a hood duct! He asked to look at mine, and after carefully inspecting it, he told me that I did not need it cleaned. He also confirmed that I didn't need my chimney cleaned because he saw that I have candles in the fireplace. (We don't use it much.) Alex was not trying to upsell me, and this confirmed to me that Bay Services is an honest company. Vasul was the service guy who came to clean vent and discovered that it also needed to be replaced. The dryer vent was replaced for an additional fee. Bay Services responded quickly to my request & we were able to promptly schedule an inspection of my home! I was having issues with a weird odor that appeared in one of the bedrooms whenever the heater was turned on. Bay Services sent Riz to inspect my home, and he was able to take a look at all of the vents/filters/fans (in the bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, kitchen, etc.). Super fast response and offered the same day service. The dryer duct cleaning price was transparent, as their website stated. Vusal was the primary service guy who asked me questions and permission to get on the roof to find the duct opening. He found the right one without a minute and started cleaning. I could hear the tool go directly through the wall next to my dryer, and I went outside to see their work; tons and tons of lint flew out. In 25 minutes or less, it was done. Then, Vusal came down to explain and asked if I had any other questions. I so appreciated their work and respect, no matter how small the job was.
