Seafood Gumbo was excellent followed by the Catfish Billy, which is 2 dishes in one. Crawfish ettoufie with a fried catfish filet served atop with a portion "crawfish gravy" ! The flavors and textures were perfection and the crunch of the catfish added character along with a crunch that wouldn't allow you to stop eating. The Carrott Cake was ordered to go and was the perfect breakfast with a black coffee pour over the next morning. To be fair when we pulled into the parking lot we thought oh maybe we had hit the very edge of our find a "joint" ambition. Once inside the vibe of dive and/or joint hits hard but if you pay attention you will pick up on the volume of tables, which is evidence of the volume of patrons that frequent this local hideaway. We were there on a Wed night after the typical 5-630 dinner time so it was quiet. Adrian was welcoming and attentive, ensuring our needs were not simply met but exceeded. My friend also ordered a seafood boil juicy special medium with no seafood and only the sides in the sauce. 225 Crab's sauce is pretty flavorful and even has visual herbs in it that you can also taste to distinguish their boil from other places. However, their boil sauce is very very salty regardless of the spice level and the salt becomes more prominent the colder that your seafood boil gets. 225 crabs's spicy level is not as spicy as fiery crab's spicy and I actually appreciate that. The Mr. Burger was really good and proves that they have a versatile menu. They have a good happy hour special with buy one get one daiquiris, but I wish that they had some cheaper mixed drinks on the menu in the $5-$-10 range. 4/5 on Yelp I would honestly rate a little lower like 3.5/5 based on the food but Alex was really a great waiter.

You don't see sauce piquant very often, so I had to try the deer sauce piquant from the buffet. It had good flavor, but not much "piquant." Had to add a little Crystal hot sauce. And the meat was tough and chewy. Needed a few more hours in the pot. The flounder was very good. Best thing I tried. The "Cajun style pork" was good, too - chunks of pork and smoky andouille with pineapple and oranges. Very good. The frog legs, fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, and alligator were all good, too. The fried catfish was muddy and dirty tasting (hate when that happens). If you're hungry, this is a nice place to get your fill of south Louisiana specialties - I could make an entire meal of the frog legs and Cajun style pork.

While the better/server was polite, it took a very long time to be greeted and seated and to get food ordered and brought to the table. When it did, everything fried was super salty like a salt block salty. My rice barely had any salt or seasoning and my oxtails weren't very tender and the sauce tasted like out came out of a jar in the store. We were the only ones in there so I just don't know. One day I'll try again but it's gonna take me a minute. I felt like I got food catfished.
