This place is hands down my favorite place in the whole of Baton Rouge, LA! Who doesn't want a 5lb bucket of crawfish? My husband and I ate one bucket each, which might sound like a lot but it was absolutely perfect. The crawfish are full of meat and taste amazingly fresh. We loved them so much that we tried to go multiple times whilst in the area. The Daiquiri's are also brilliant, and at 100 proof we only needed on each to have a good time. Along with our buckets of crawfish we also had a pitcher of purple haze beer which was refreshing and a great companion to our little crawdads. If you find yourself in Baton Rouge you have to get yourself here because you won't find value, atmosphere, or quality like it anywhere else!

Came to Lakeside for the Tuesday night free crawfish and didn't complain! There is a $15 cover and you get free drinks and 3 lbs. of crawfish from 8-10 PM! Great deal and delicious crawfish.

this is outside of the bar and there is little to none as far as lighting is concerned

No longer smoky, still best crawfish in Baton Rouge. Great pricing on crawfish and beverages to go with your crawfish. Win-win.

It's our beloved crawfish season again, and they waited until the price came down a little and the crawfish got a little bigger to finally have them on sale.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with stellar customer service that set the tone for our entire experience. Our waiter, Justice, was truly delightful. It was an absolute pleasure being served by him. He was incredibly friendly, patient and attentive, especially with our party of 14, which included children. His attention to detail and welcoming demeanor stood out, and his positive energy elevated our experience. Justice went above and beyond, and his efforts did not go unnoticed! The entire staff working on Saturday, April 4 was top notch. Everyone we encountered was warm, helpful and professional. From the food and drinks to the atmosphere and overall service, everything exceeded our expectations. I can say this was a 5 Star Brunch experience. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in Louisiana!

We specifically found this restaurant because we searched online for gluten free restaurants, so we were excited to see that you offered a separate gluten free menu. However, there are some serious issues with the accuracy of that menu that need to be addressed. When we asked about the pork rinds brought to the table, we were told they are fried in the same oil as everything else. That in itself is your choice as a restaurant, and we understand cross contamination can happen. We were also told the french fries are cooked in beef tallow in a separate fryer, but they are not considered gluten free, which is why they are not listed on the gluten free menu. Again, that is completely understandable. What is not acceptable is having items listed on the gluten free menu that are not actually gluten free due to cross contamination. The pork rinds and cheddar filled tater tots were both listed on the gluten free menu despite being fried in shared oil with gluten containing foods. For someone with celiac disease, this is not a small mistake or a dietary preference issue. My husband has celiac disease, and if he had eaten the pork rinds based on trusting the gluten free menu, he could have become extremely ill and potentially needed hospital care. Our daughter has gluten sensitivity, and she would have been sick for the rest of the night as well. Many people still treat gluten free as if it is just a fad diet, but for people with celiac disease, it is a serious autoimmune condition that causes real physical harm. To the OWNER: please educate your staff and kitchen on what gluten free truly means, and update the menu so customers can trust it. People with celiac disease should not have to risk getting sick because menu items are mislabeled.

I went for the lunch buffet for $13.99 and feel like the BR location def has more options than the NOLA location (I haven't been to that spot in over a year though). There are some seafood options during lunch (salt and pepper crab, salmon, assortment of fish, and mussels) but if you want a wider variety, dinner is the way to go. I didn't try the sushi because the majority of them were always wiped out but the chefs in the back were doing their best to replenish whenever they could. Nothing to extraordinary with the sushi, I feel like you could get most of em at the grocery store. My favs at lunch were hands down the salmon and the baked mussels w cheese on top. The salmon was SEASONED SO WELL and I just kept going back for more. The mussels and cheese was def a hit too bc I could see the chefs restock every so often. There's unlimited boba (not included in the buffet) and I had the mango, which tasted watered down to me. The ice cream was amazing, got a mix of the taro and mango. The cakes were extremely dry and the mousse was the only thing saving it from totally crumbling in my mouth. For the most part, the food was piping hot, but there were a few options that were cold when I ate them, hence the 4 stars. The staff were incredibly sweet and would clean tables immediately after someone would leave.

They staved off an eviction nearly a decade ago and have somehow managed to stick around for a total of nearly 7 decades. Dearman's is the last legit diner in the city. The interior is a trip back in time. The spacious dining room is complete with retro furniture, checkered floors, and old school artwork that feels like something out of the 1950s. The decor screams pure Americana and is one of the biggest draws for the many patrons that come through daily. My favorite part is their juicy burgers. Pair it with their crispy fries and their old school milkshakes, and one has a complete meal. The burgers are hearty, and the portions are substantial. They also have salads, other sandwiches (tuna is my go-to), and various options for loaded fries. The other awesome part are the prices. Minus the double cheeseburger, there are no items that exceed $10 on the entire menu. The staff is young and always enthusiastic, and they play a big part in making this place such a destination. It is group / kid-friendly, and an ideal lunch spot. Orders can be placed online, but I recommend eating in for the full experience.

We're laid back and can roll with the punches-they're busy and staff was friendly-it'll all be worth it when the food rocks our socks. Sadly...no. Both grilled cheeses (entrees) were room temp and the cheese was already hardening. It felt as if they had forgotten to deliver the food. Waitress was so kind and took the one off our check. It was appreciated. Boudin balls were great!! Bedford and remoulade sauces were okay. Parmesan potatoes were good!! Brussel sprouts and fries were fine-would have been better if served hot, I think. We did the pie flight and they were all good. Not mind blowing, but good. I always give out second chances-public service and food service is tough and sometimes you just have off days. Worth checking out if you live in town!! But if you're just passing through, maybe just get some pie to go.

They definitely had some tables lingering long after they ate but it wasn't more than 5 minutes before me and my buddy were able to be seated. Both me and my buddy had one of their cute Halloween themed drinks. Mine was basically mocha with mini marshmallows in it. Loved it and was able to sub with almond milk. They enjoyed theirs as well I think it was a variation on either pumpkin spice or chai. I was super adventurous and had the shrimp and grits. It was actually delicious although on appearance I thought was going to be too liquidy. It had a little kick to it. The meal came with a biscuit that I didn't end up eating but took a bite out of and is pretty standard Pillsbury grands biscuit. They enjoyed their meal as well and ended up getting full and having leftovers to take home which is always a win. Because beignet is in the name we also ordered those to try. I tried the plain and appreciated the powder ratio. Dough was good, not Loretta's Pralines good, but better than what I make at home. She was more a fan of the stuffed one she had.
